We just returned from our Paris trip. I'd like to thank you for steering me to the right apartment and for handling the transaction so professionally. The apartment was very comfortable & we had a great stay.
Fantastic apartment. This property is better than advertised! It has everything that you could possibly need. The owner has paid attention to the smallest of details and has made the apartment so comfortable! It is also well-kept and has an excellent bathroom, which can be a somewhat rare find!
If you like to be in the center of things, near restaurants and sights, then this is the apartment for you! There is a lot of activity around. There is a metro / RER stop (St. Michel) just around the corner, which is extremely convenient. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the major sights and attractions. There is a small market at the end of the street, and a larger Monoprix a few blocks away. It appears as if another market is preparing to open next door.
Nancy and Henry are gems to work with. They keep open lines of communication and are extremely helpful and friendly. This is the third time in 8 years that I have rented from Nancy because she always provides exactly what she claims and is 100% trustworthy. I look forward to our next Paris trip and renting this apartment again!
The location and communication in regards to this property were awesome. Nancy was very available with texts and questions and Henry guided us from the train station with great directions. It was very nice to be close to such a charming district with lots of food and activities. The property was clean and Henry met us there and was available for any problems. The TV went out (which we didn't even mind) but he fixed it. We had 2 adults and 3 kids. I would say it was tight for all of us, but doable. It also has 90 stairs to make it up to the floor which were doable and tired the kids out...especially after walking Paris during the day! We enjoyed it very much. Thank you!
We are a family of 5 and it was the perfect size for us. We loved the location. Being able to walk to Notre Dame and the train station was perfect. The large windows opening onto the noise of the street below, was an amazing Paris experience. We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer.
Very nice apartment. There you can feel the spirit of Paris, is located in a very lively area with many restaurants. Very near huge Monoprix. We spent a wonderful week here. The apartment had everything you need. I especially want to thank Nancy for the excellent and efficient work, she responded very quickly to my emails and answered all my questions about the apartment. Special thanks to the owner, Henry, this is a very nice and kind person! He met us on time, all told about the apartment, showed all the best restaurants nearby. We are very pleased with our choice, it was our best vacation in Paris! Thank you Nancy and Henry!!!
.Very comfortable apartment, excellent service delivered from Henry. The apartment is big, comfortable with everything we needed, Thankyou
Our past accommodation in Paris has been that of shoe box size hotel rooms which in time can send you up the wall. In comparison this apartment, for 11 nights for two people, was bliss. The owner's description is close to the mark. You want for nothing...except food and drinks and that is after depleting the refrigerator of Henry's kindly supplied beverages. For a couple, the apartment is spacious and airy and allows for an early nighter to be in bed and not be disturbed by the night owl in the family room. Clean and well maintained with a recently renovated bathroom. A great library of local travel books was available to assist with touring the city and beyond. Cable TV, radio and CD player (and CD's) also included. Great communication with the owners right from the first enquiry up until the day we arrived (and departed) when Henry contacted us to advise of an issue with the nearby St Michel train station. Location was perfect for us even though in a busy and bustling restaurant area. Train station, St Michel (temporarily closed during our stay but another close by) is less than a minutes walk away. Notre Dame, the Seine and other tourist attractions merely minutes away by foot. The biggest issue was dining out....where! There are literally dozens of restaurants in the immediate area plus a range of supermarkets and takeaway style eateries...and the food is great. The location allowed one to go out walking and exploring and then return home for a break before again taking to the streets. Would not hesitate in again staying in this apartment. Merely writing this review fills one with the desire to be right back there now. Lastly, yes there are stairs but look at the positive side. If you weren't fit before arriving in Paris you will be by the time you leave! Merci, Nancy and Henry.
Boulevard Saint Germain and the Sorbonne are 5 minutes' walk away and the Luxembourg Gardens 15 minutes.
The Saint Michel metro, less than a minute's walk from the
apartment, accesses the metropolitan subway system (Metro) as well as the
regional rapid transit system (RER) : Line A serving the La Defense
business district and St. Germain en Laye to the west and Bois de Vincennes and Disneyland to the east, Line B serving Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) airport to the north and the Orly airport to the south, and line C serving Versailles Palace and Gardens to the west and Orly airport to the south.
