My house is a 4,000 square foot gorgeous and immaculate newer (2008) LUXURY reverse living style $2 million custom contemporary colonial w/ 3 levels (Ground, 1st & 2nd), ELEVATOR, 5 decks, and covered patio, offering great views of the ocean & bay. I am 2nd from the private beach (only deeded access is permitted to owners/renters in the immediate neighborhood), with large outdoor shower, 3 car garage, and plenty of parking.

Bring your pets and enjoy this extremely clean, comfortable reverse living style home. I supply 8 beach badges, 10 beach chairs, bed linens, 20 sets of white towels (bath & hand towels and wash cloths), 4 hair dryers, shampoo & conditioner, pump & bar soap & toilet tissue in all bathrooms, and many other things to help you feel right at home, such as books, magazines, DVD's, games, and other supplies. Almost everything that I use when I'm at the house is there for you, such as spices, tape, pens & paper, cleaning products, etc. I will also assist you with ordering your groceries to be delivered from Shop-Rite or PeaPod prior to your arrival.

My beautiful house has 5 BR's and a den with locking door: 2 king beds (both en-suites), 2 queen beds (1 en-suite), 1 queen sleeper (in den w/ locking door), and 1 full bed + 1 twin bed in the 5th BR. There are 4 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. There are 2 laundry rooms, 2 wet bars with beverage refrigerators, an elevator and an extra refrigerator/freezer in the 3 car garage.

The Top (2nd) Floor has a LR, DR/Area, Kitchen w/ Pantry, Entrance to Roof Deck, Master BR/Bath/Deck, and Powder Room:

* The Living Room has beach and ocean views, double sliding doors onto large deck with grill and table & chairs, gorgeous gas & granite fireplace, travertine tumbled marble powder room, cherry & granite wet bar with wine & beverage refrigerator.

* The Dining Room/Area off the kitchen has a wood and granite table that seats 8 plus kitchen island seating for 5. There's additional seating on the outside deck as well as a folding table to expand the seating area.

* The Gourmet stainless & granite Kitchen has island seating for 5, a large granite and wood pub table for 8 and a walk-in Pantry, Granite Island with seating for 5, and Kitchen Aid and Thermador appliances and all custom cabinets.

* The huge Master BR suite has a King bed, love seat, private en-suite travertine tumbled marble bathroom with His and Hers marble top vanities and huge 9' x 4.5' travertine tumbled marble shower with 2 sets of Grohe rain shower heads, 2 Kohler hand showers, and 2 sets of body sprays, plus a covered balcony deck with ocean views.

The First (bedroom level) floor boasts the following:

* Large King Master Bedroom suite w/ walk-in closet, private bath with double marble sinks and frameless glass shower, sliders to balcony, LCD TV, chair

* Yellow & White Cottage Full & Twin BR with blackout shades

* Main Laundry Room (there's also a 2nd washer / dryer in the ground level powder room attached to the outside shower).

The Ground Level has the following features:

* The Family Room (FR) has a large leather sectional couch and LCD TV (great for gamers!)

* Large powder/changing room has a 2nd washer/dryer plus an entrance to the outdoor shower

* Covered patio is GREAT for rainy days or evenings

* Elevator entrance - will take you from the garage to the 1st and 2nd floors.

A.D.A.: This house complies w/ Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for some items, such as faucets, elevator, flush flooring, large open master shower, etc. Please inquire about your specific needs.

SMOKING: This is a NON- Smoking house, but is OK to smoke outside.

LBI is a premier destination for summer vacationing, known for its white sand beaches, restaurants, boutique shopping, water sports, amusement parks, miniature golf, and crabbing. Under 2 hours from metro NY, N. NJ, Philly. LBI has been almost fully restored after Hurricane Sandy, back to business as usual in most places. The north end, where we are located, looks as if nothing ever happened! LBI still has 'IT'!

Private Beach, Ocean and Bay Views:

* This home has multiple views of the ocean and bay-- the roof deck is perfect for both sunrise and sunset.

* The beach is restricted to residents/renters on the adjoining blocks; there is no public access. This allows you to enjoy peaceful tranquility just 200 feet away! There are no vendors or restaurants on the beach-- just unspoiled white sand with ocean waves breaking nearby. You are permitted to picnic on the beach; trash containers are at each entrance/exit. Lifeguards are posted in the area for supervised safe swimming; we provide beach badges, toys & chairs.

I offer a fully turn-key operation at this chic new home. I've thought of everything to make your vacation just that-- a vacation! I include numerous amenities in the house, so that you spend less time shopping and dragging supplies there. The elevator makes moving luggage and groceries SO much easier! The huge pantry provides terrific shelving for extra food and drinks. What else will make your life easier? Read on!

When you arrive, the house has just been cleaned... smell the scent of sparkling rooms. Load your suitcases into the elevator, conveniently located on the ground floor, and drop them off at the 1st or 2nd floors. Reload with your groceries and repeat!

The 1st floor wet bar in the den has a mini frig for drinks and snacks - use it for the kids since there are plastic cups in those cabinets, plus there are board and card games and a TV with DVD player in the den, which helps entertain them while you get the house together- if they're not exploring outside on the beach already!

The wet bar w/ beverage frig in the upstairs living room is equipped with an ice bucket, shakers, pitchers, and margarita & wine glasses. Take advantage of the views, dock your iPod in the stereo, and open the sliding doors to see the waves, hear the roar of the ocean and smell the salt water...

Walk to the kitchen and take a quick inventory… under the sinks are various cleaning items, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent, and the pantry has trash bags, recycling containers, serving platters & bowls, lobster pot, and much more. Salt, pepper, spices, coffee filters, sugar, and plastic wrap are available as well.

The ground floor powder room has a locking entrance from the outside shower, so that when you return from the beach you can shower outside, use your house key to get into the powder room, and throw your wet bathing suit and beach towels into the washer/dryer. Plus there's a bench to sit down while you dress, and hooks to hang personal items.

Guests waiting to use the outside shower can relax in the comfy chairs on the covered patio w/ ceiling fan. Once they've showered, they can wait inside the house in the patio room to relax or watch TV. It's a nice, open, cool space.

The huge Master BR on the 2nd floor has a King bed, gentleman's chest, woman's dresser with mirror, 2 night stands, large TV, DVD player, phone, walk-in closet, and gorgeous hardwood floors, with tumbled travertine marble flooring and walls throughout the bath area. Private water closet, 'His' and 'Hers' dark exotic wood vanities with marble countertops and beautiful Kohler hardware, hair dryer, towels, and unique 8 foot deep tumbled travertine marble shower for two with duplicate Grohe rain heads, Kohler hand showers and body sprays, and 2 travertine marble seats. Walk from the bedroom through sliders to see the sunrise from the covered deck, or just relax in the love seat inside. It's a true oasis.

The ground floor is a great place to relax away from the sun, and the covered patio and powder room are just a few steps away.

North Beach, one of the most exclusive towns on LBI, is within walking distance to Harvey Cedars' Sunset Park and Surf City's restaurants and shops. Our home is a mere 200 feet from the beach AND has many handcrafted upgrades.

I custom-built this chic home in 2008 and enjoy sharing it with families like yours. My home is completely custom built, immaculate, spacious, beautifully furnished, and extraordinarily well-maintained. This is the 2nd house from the beach and offers outdoor living space on five decks, a covered patio (great for rainy days) and outdoor areas- a 100' by 100' double lot with room to run around outside or relax inside.

Mine stands apart from other properties because I provide many extras and amenities to make your life easier. There are 7 TV's in the house, including HD boxes, one DVR box, premium cable, and DVD players. Bath towels, dish towels, and bed linens (sheets) are just the beginning... you'll have the use of everything I use myself-- from the SONY Stereo w/ iDock, toilet tissue, shampoo, conditioner, trash bags, to the little things, like DVD's, decks of playing cards, board games, books, rubber bands, note paper, pens, pencils, etc.

I have local resources available to help in a pinch: my mom is 10 minutes away, our handyman is available 24 x 7, and I've contracted with plumbers, electricians, and other contractors to be available when we need them.

Lastly, the house was built in August 2008, so it's a young house used mostly in the summer months-- kept in pristine condition-- ready for your visit! I regularly visit the house to maintain it and supervise the cleaning process to ensure you are greeted by an immaculate place when you arrive. Only the best for my guests!

What makes this house unique

THE OWNER: When you rent this home, you have the benefit of me. I am responsive and informative ... I send out a handbook with information about the house as well as restaurants, shopping, activities, and resources. The house is stocked with many items for use during your stay, so there's less for you to bring from home.

PRIVACY: The house is only 200 feet from the private beach-- we are the 2nd off the beach-- which is only used by homes on the same tract (block)-- so there is no public access to the beach. The house has no neighbor on the west side, and the east neighbor is the guest house for the oceanfront home.

VIEWS: The roof deck provides 360 degree views of the ocean and bay and is a great place to watch sunrises and sunsets! There are 4 other decks in the house providing great views, PLUS a covered patio. The most widely used deck off the top floor kitchen/dining/living room has a table and chairs with ocean views. The Master deck (top floor) is private and features an attractive overhang. The 2nd Master deck is balcony size, perfect to sit and read while listening to the ocean. The airy first floor south deck has access to the den and cherry bedroom. The two story entrance boasts double closets and the entire house has ample closets for storage.

SPACE: The outdoor space is a wide open double lot- 100' x 100'-- allowing kids to run around and expend their energy! The interior of the house is spacious and open and has a living room, a den, and a family room to allow everyone to spread out and get away when you need a little privacy or to watch the game. The bedrooms are large, with three of them having comfortable seats for reading.

SAFETY: The railings around the decks all meet or exceed minimum requirements for protecting children. The west side of the house is protected by landscaping to prevent children from running into the street.

PARKING: There's ample parking available in the 3 car garage and in the large paver driveway for SUV's and cars.

Great house/Great location

Great house in the most wonderful location on Long Beach Island in quiet North Beach away from the busier parts of the island. You could not ask for an easier walk to the beach which was hardly filled with other beach goers even in August. Everything you need is already in the house from kitchen to beach items so you need not worry about packing extra items. Clean and in perfect condition and perfect for a relaxing visit.

Magnificent Seashore Home

This home was everything we could have hoped for and more. We were fortunate to stay in this here for 4 weeks and enjoyed all that it had to offer. The owner, Sue Yodice did everything to make our stay perfect and was immediately available to assist in any way possible. From the decor to the amenities, the home was breathtaking, and only a few short steps to a beautiful quiet beach. Pride of ownership is evident in every facet of this stunning home. The house was spotless and extremely well maintained. We have never stayed in a rental or hotel in which we felt so very comfortable. Oh, and the beds, absolutely heavenly.

A wonderful property. Very comfortable.

2014 was the second year that my wife and I stayed at this house. The property is immaculate inside and very comfortable. It is conveniently located off of the main LBI road and the beach is just a few yards away. Shopping and dining is also very close by. The house is large and can certainly accommodate several families. My wife and I love the overall layout and design. It does have an elevator which my wife needs due to a disability. We really enjoy coming to LBI and staying in this house and we are planning on a trip this September.

Best house we have ever rented!

The listing description was accurate and the amenities were better than the listing even described. The house was spotless and very well maintained. Susan was very helpful and informative. The beach was only a short walk and was very private, not crowded at all. I would recommend this property and will definitely rent it again myself!

Loved this house, Sue is fantastic

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in this amazing house. We stayed on the top floor. I am partially disabled and use a scooter outside. I needed a place with no stairs, an elevator, and also a good sofa or recliner, and wanted to be near the water. We had the most relaxing wonderful time here. We could have many other people with us and may do this with a group sometime or come back alone.

The house is very near miles of private beach. There is a row of large houses between this house and the beach and that is it. So the beach is a step away and you can see it out all the windows and hear it and smell it. The area is special. The house has everything, and I do mean everything, you could need. The kitchen is huge and equipped every convenience. There was even coffee for the coffee maker (nice touch!). The sofas and beds are so comfortable. Sofas are large and full of throw pillows and coffee tables sturdy and uncluttered. The king size bed had a firm memory foam mattress. Best bed I ever slept on. The shower was gigantic and well designed.

I loved sitting out of the various decks. We saw stars at night. You also have full cable, board games, a docking station for your ipod, if it was raining and you wanted to stay inside or veg after a day at the beach. The other floors also have seating areas, on-suite bathrooms and there seem to be sinks everywhere. All the bathrooms are stocked too, which is a nice touch.

It is home away from home or the home you wished you had. It is luxurious, yet you can really get comfortable. There is plenty of room for whatever you might bring. There seems to be all sorts of beach equipment. Everything is very much as described and shown in the pictures and better.

Sue is a great person. She is very generous and fair and helpful.

For people with disabilities: The elevator is larger than I expected and there is a phone inside, so it's not claustrophobic. Seems very well built. The house does not have accessible bathrooms, in the sense of grab bars. There was a small step up into the master shower (not the other showers), but there is a ton of room for a shower seat. It might not fit every disabled person's needs, but good for many. Sue can answer any questions you might have about specific needs.

Owner's Response: Thanks to Harriet for her review. I would like to share a clarification regarding our location on the 1095 ocean block in North Beach. Ours is the second property from the beach-- about 200 feet from the sand. Secondly, the huge shower in the master bathroom contains two built-in corner seats, but, as Harriet states, there is no grab bar. Many thanks for a detailed and thoughtful review!

The physical address is 1095A Long Beach Boulevard in North Beach, NJ (THE WEBSITE WILL NOT DISPLAY NORTH BEACH). North Beach is part of Long Beach Township on Long Beach Island, NJ and is between Harvey Cedars and Surf City on the north end of the island. The north end is known for its peaceful surroundings and private lanes leading to private beaches.

You can get to North Beach by taking the Garden State Parkway to exit 63, Route 72 East. After taking Route 72 all the way to the end (about 6-8 miles), make a left onto Long Beach Boulevard. After driving through Surf City (about 3-4 miles), you'll see the Welcome to North Beach sign. From there, drive approximately 1 mile to 1095A Long Beach Boulevard, North Beach, which is on the righthand (ocean) side, on the ocean block and only 2 houses away from the beach!

We DO rent on weekends in the off season-- between Labor Day and mid-June, and in September as well.
Turnover day is FRIDAY for summer rentals.
Summer rentals for late June, July and August are weekly only with Friday changeover.
Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Labor Day) require a minimum 3 night stay.
Refundable damage/security deposit may be less than $2,000 if your stay is for a weekend and there are less than 10 people; Owners will use their discretion.
