The Grand Canyon Cabin is a little hidden gem in Southern Utah. It is located in the Ranchos area of Kanab, just a couple of minutes to town. The log cabin is situated on 2 private acres amid the red rocks surrounded with breathtaking views. Enjoy the warmth and privacy of the cabin while you explore the wonders of Southern Utah.
The Grand Canyon Cabin is ideally located for visiting the national parks as day trips while returning to the comfort and quiet of the cabin. Spend the evening in town with dinner and a movie or hang out at the cabin, throw something on the grill and enjoy the amazing night sky.
Kanab is the gateway to the national parks. It's just 45 minutes to Zions National Park, 1 1/2 hrs to Bryce Canyon, 1 1/2 hrs to Grand Canyon North Rim, 1 hr to Lake Powell, 30 minutes to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes and 15 minutes to the Grand Staircase Escalante.
Recreational opportunities abound with hiking, ATV riding, horseback riding, golfing, boating, fishing and more.
The Grand Canyon Cabin is pet-friendly with a fenced portion of yard and an adjoining covered dog/cat run. It's only 15 minutes to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary which is home to about 2000 animals at any given time and whose guiding philosophy is: kindness to animals builds a better world for all of us.
Historic Kanab, nicknamed 'Little Hollywood' for all the western movies filmed here, still has the old west feel and friendliness. Kanab is home to the annual Western Legends Roundup each August. Come enjoy cowboy country.
Come enjoy the west... and stay a spell.
This one bedroom cabin is owned and managed by the same owners of Goldena's Cabin in Kanab. If a 2 bedroom cabin would suit your needs better, please see our Listing #407342.
My husband and I started our "25th Anniversary Tour" with 3 nights at the Grand Canyon Cabin - it was perfect! The title does say it all - it was everything we hoped it would be and more. The views were astounding. It was clean, well-stocked, cozy and very private. Convenience was a plus, we visited Zion and Bryce (my favorite of all of the places we visited on our 9 nights in Arizona and Utah). We would definitely, and hope to, return. One note, we were coming from the Las Vegas airport and although Dru (who is wonderful) provided directions, we just left it up to the GPS - big mistake. It took us through Zion on our way - yes we were planning to see Zion but not after a 5+ hour flight and drive from Vegas!!! We did go back but it was kinda ruined since we had already seen it so to speak. So, if coming from Vegas, follow Dru's directions!!! Wonderful home and a great memory!
We take like my road trips every couple of years. And we try to stay in cabins whenever possible. We've n ver stayed in a cabin that was so well stocked and ready for adventure. But it's not just the gorgeous cabin in the beautiful cliff side setting. We spoke with the owner Dru just after arrival and she gave us some great tips on things to see and places to eat. Our stay was perfect!
My husband and I had such a great time at The Grand Canyon Cabin. Dru and Bob
were so helpful and ready to make our visit a wonderful experience. Their cabin is secluded
yet in a neighborhood which makes it perfect. Also has all the extras so that when you go shopping
for groceries, you only get the main ingredients. We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting
to make their trip out west feel more authentic in a log cabin.

We would give this cabin 10 Stars if we could! Dru & Bob were wonderful hosts. All communications were very organized, informative, and pleasant. They were very responsive to any of our needs and questions and kept us posted on the arrival time and spoke with us when we arrived. The cabin was just perfect. Tucked away down a private drive. Spectacular view out the back of the house! Breakfast each morning on the rear deck gazing at that mountain and crystal blue sky. Wow! The neighborhood was very quiet and pleasant to take walks around at night. The cabin was only five minutes from downtown Kanab where there is plenty to explore. Kanab itself is centrally located for the sights in the area, Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon, Coyote Buttes, and Lake Powell. We explored them all! We stayed for two weeks at the cabin. It was perfect when we arrived, Dru had plenty of nice amenities to make the trip quite nice from the start, from coffee in the fridge, to plenty of magazines and brochures for the sights. Just the little things that let you know someone cares about your stay and will want you to enjoy your time in their town. Thanks again to Dru & Bob for an absolutely wonderful stay and Bob, I loved our conversation about the area! We have no hesitation in recommending this cabin and we look forward to staying again, maybe in the winter for some snowmobiling!!! Thanks again Dru & Bob!!! Best Wishes, :-) Gary & Melissa
AAA+: Cute, cozy, tranquile and a serene setting: This is a delightful cabin ideally located for driving tours of Zion, Capitol Reef, Grand Canyon North Rim and Bryce. The cabin was immaculate and fully stocked with anything you might need other than fully cooked meals but Glazer's Market provides your grocery needs and Houston's Trail offers the best dine- in experiences in town; The washer and dryer were a discreet but wonderful addition for us, the fridge full of coffee choices was such a great surprise and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We appreciated the prompt contact with the owners both upon arrival and prior to departure and would stay again in a heartbeat, just wish it was closer to home :) Thank you Dru & Bob for providing the perfect vacation place to relax.
My husband and I just spent 10 days in the Grand Canyon Cabin. It was absolutely perfect for us. We did a lot of hiking in Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Wire Pass and Buckskin Gulch and Toadstools while we were there and found the peaceful setting of the cabin to be wonderful in the early mornings and coming home each day for dinner and an evening on the deck. The view is gorgeous and private. The night skies are amazing. It really felt like home. The bed was quite comfortable with great bed linens and towels and the kitchen was fully stocked with the essentials for meal prep. Our thanks to Dru and Bob for sharing this lovely place to stay. We hope to return as there are so many trails to hike and so much beautiful scenery to enjoy. We bought a trail book to plan our next trip and hope to return to the cabin.
