PARKING:
Street parking ONLY. Please watch signs for any restrictions. Beware of street sweeping hours, vehicles need to be moved to avoid ticketing. Please do not leave ANYTHING in your cars. Even a jacket or an empty bag might look like it is disguising something of value. Unfortunately, the frequency of car break-ins has increased throughout the city.
**Attention**
1. Use caution when opening windows, as they have settled a little with the building and need to be gently pushed out. Forcing them could result in the window breaking.
2.Place is not suitable for children, floors are cement and stairs have sharp corners.

Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep volume to a minimum. The neighbors below us are most impacted by noise. We request that guests remove shoes upon entry, and especially avoid wearing high heels on the hardwood floor.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.

-Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.
-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
-Maintenance schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a 'show up' charge, even if no work is performed.
-Absolutely no parties or loud music.
-This is a NON-SMOKING property.
-NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately. No cats allowed, owner has severe allergy to cats.

-Security camera/recording device — Our properties may have outdoor security cameras aimed on the exterior of the home, doorbell camera and/or an alarm system for the safety of the house and its occupants. Non-recording audio monitoring devices (NoiseAware) might be installed onsite to warn us of excessive noise and avoid complaints.
-Nearby lake, river, other body of water — Property is one block from the bay.
-Heights without rails or protection — Property has a private terrace/deck and guests will have access to it.
-Amenity limitations — The hot water can take five or sometimes more minutes to heat up, especially if you're showering at an unusual hour. It can get hot in August and September afternoons--open windows help, but it can be windy. The elevator is old, and periodically shuts down.
-No parking on property — Street parking only.
