About The Owner

This has been such a fun retirement project for my husband. This is a 1938 farm house that he has totally renovated. The home has a great history. He has gone in and remodeled and/or restored everything. All furnishings/appliances/fixtures are new. We love the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area where we have two larger homes that we built for our children and our 4 grandchildren to enjoy. We have made many great memories and hope to make many more. My grandparents always brought me here when I was a child and I want to have those same memories for my grandchildren. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2006

Why The Owner chose Twinbrook

We could have not asked for a more suitable place for a getaway. It has everything my husband and I wanted. You are 20 minutes from Maggie Valley and Waynesville. 35 minutes from Asheville and 45 minutes from Gatlinburg. We are located where you can get to anywhere you need, but, also can enjoy the peace and tranquility of country living.

What makes this cabin unique

Our home is pet friendly, extremely motorcycle friendly, we both ride, and most importantly grandchildren friendly. Great area to hike and enjoy the scenery.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This was a wonderful, relaxing experience in this cabin. It was like new, very clean and cozy. The porches were a treat to sit and visit and watch the fireflies in the evenings and the hot tub was a blessing after 250 and 300 miles motorcycle rides in this most beautiful area. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The business side was very professionally conducted, yet very personal and I will look forward to visiting their cabin again. The waterfall in the backyard and the views were wonderful. There was everything we could have wanted or needed supplied in the cabin and all like new. The cabin's decor was so cute and it was obvious that a lot of thought, time and expense has gone into making this little cabin a relaxing retreat. Thanks so much for letting us visit your cozycreekcabin.

Cozy, private getaway

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed three relaxing days in this vintage cottage/cabin that has been completely modernized and is immaculately maintained. We found everything we could possibly need in the well-equipped kitchen. It is located in a real farming community with a beautiful creek and waterfall in back. From the front porch we could see cows grazing in the pasture across the road and a picturesque country church at the far end of the valley surrounded by mountains. Each day after driving around exploring surrounding towns and scenery, we looked forward to a dip in the hot tub under the moon and stars. It has been ages since we have been far enough in the country to see stars at night, and it was a real treat. I even saw a shooting star! It was truly magical. We would like to come back and stay again, hopefully for a whole week next time.

What a gem!

I have never been in a rental home that is so well equipped with anything and everything you can need! The house was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub on the back deck was perfectly set so you can hear the waterfall that is behind the home. You can control the temperature very easily and that's awesome when it's 7 degrees outside! The rooms are a good size and we were never cramped. (Group of five people went.) I would 100% recommend it. The only complaint I have is that it's close to a semi busy road, BUT that was also a plus when it snowed because we were able to get out of the driveway easily.

The owners were wonderful!! Anytime I had a question, it was answered quickly. Got the deposit back in a very timely manner.

Again, wonderful cabin! Thanks for everything!!

Owner's Response: Thank you for all the nice comments. We do hope that you visit again. Also, hopefully, the road will not be that busy, as it is just a country road. But, with I-40 closed due to a rockslide they have detoured some by the home. This should be completed in a month. Thanks again - Kathy & Stan

Great little Cabin

Loved the location, loved the layout of the cabin. Easy to get to and somewhat secluded but still close enough to town if you need to run to the store. Will return again in the future.

What a cozy cabin! The hot tub on the deck above the rushing creek below was an amazingly relaxing part of our stay. What a treat! The cabin is well equipped, but be sure to remember take your own toilet paper and etc as in the instructions. The areas scenic beauty is a breath of fresh air.
