Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)
This has been such a fun retirement project for my husband. This is a 1938 farm house that he has totally renovated. The home has a great history. He has gone in and remodeled and/or restored everything. All furnishings/appliances/fixtures are new. We love the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area where we have two larger homes that we built for our children and our 5 grandchildren to enjoy. We have made many great memories and hope to make many more. My grandparents always brought me here when I was a child and I want to have those same memories for my grandchildren. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
Owner purchased this Cabin in 2006
Why Owner chose Maggie Valley
We could have not asked for a more suitable place for a getaway. It has everything my husband and I wanted. You are 20 minutes from Maggie Valley and Waynesville. 35 minutes from Asheville and 45 minutes from Gatlinburg. We are located where you can get to anywhere you need, but, also can enjoy the peace and tranquility of country living.
What makes this Cabin unique
Our home is pet friendly, extremely motorcycle friendly, we both ride, and most importantly grandchildren friendly. Great area to hike and enjoy the scenery.

WOW!!! This is the PERFECT spot to relax. Sit on the back deck and listen to the waterfall, listen to the brook from the Master bedroom, see the Beautiful Mountains and the list goes on and on. Perfect. Not a bad drive to Asheville, Smokey Mountain National Park and Gatlinburg. Plenty for everyone to do. Highly recommend. We will return next year for sure but this time in the fall.
So glad you enjoyed your stay. Look forward to you returning in the future. Thank you.

Enjoyed our stay at this nice cabin
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy and nice cabin. This place is so peaceful. We loved the sound of creek, the view of mountains. It's also very relaxing sitting in the hot tub on the deck after coming back from a day's hiking. Kathy was easy to work with and responded to all my questions very quickly.
Hope to come back to stay again in the near future!
So glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope you return again in the future. Thank you
Very cozy cabin!
Our family really enjoyed our stay! The weather was terrible, rained throughout the entire week, but we managed to relax in the hot tub in between the raindrops with the sounds of the rushing creek. We visited Gatlinburg which is only about an hour away. The place was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. We also appreciated that the cabin was pet friendly!
Thank you and I am so glad you enjoyed the cabin. Sorry, I can't help with the weather, wished it had been better for you. Thank you again.
Unique Property/Doesn’t Dissapoint/Worth the Stay!
Great little cabin with a U shape layout that connects through master bedroom. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Creek is the focal point of this property, much bigger than pictures & @ times during excessive run off from rain/melting snow, it can be mimic a white water river.
The surrounding area with sloping pastures, hill side cemeteries & little white churches bring back memories of the past. Kathryn was pleasant to work with & her property is the perfect getaway vacation year round. 12/27 - 12/30/18
Thank you so much for the review. We love the step back in time with the rolling hills and watching the cows and the little white churches along the way. Then end the day listening to the creek and waterfall. Our way of slowing up for a time. Hope you visit again in the future. Thank you again.
We are located at the intersection of Fines Creek Road and Max Patch Road. Only 7 miles to the top of the Appalachian Trail (Max Patch Road) for the best hiking around. Very close to Cataloochee to visit the Elks too. Only 35 minutes to Asheville, 20 minutes to Maggie Valley and Waynesville and 45 minutes to Gatlinburg, TN.
