Front Range Colorado House Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms + Office, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

In 1939, the Maas Family built this historic tudor house adjacent to Adolf Coors Company property. Today, the house (renovated in 2007) with fenced yard is conveniently located in a quiet block in downtown historic Golden, where a 3-minute walk along the Clear Creek nature trail will take you to galleries, coffee shops and boutiques. Golden was the first capitol of the Colorado Territory, founded in 1859. Easy access to the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater, world-class ski areas, Casinos in Black Hawk, Denver and Boulder, makes Golden an ideal location for travelers.

The house is comfortably furnished with new and historic decor. Sleeping accommodations include two queen beds, two twin-size beds, as well as a sleeper sofa in the office. Views include rim rocks of North Table Mountain, Historic Castle Rock of South Table Mountain, Lookout Mountain and overlooks the Coors Brewery. Natural-style landscaping create a restful, mountain-cabin atmosphere with easy access to all the modern and historical attractions of the former Gold Rush-era town center.

Spend a few days, a week, or more as you discover Golden, Colorado, 'Where the West Lives' Nestled at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Golden has something for everyone- nature walks, museums, shopping, skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, fly fishing, riverboarding, amusement park, farmers market, outdoor concerts, art festivals and more! Tours are available at the Coors Brewery as well as at numerous historic sites dating from pioneer days.

Why John chose Front Range Colorado

We love preserving historic properties. We noticed the limited accommodations in Downtown Golden and are aiming to make this a special and unique place for travelers to Golden. And we're hoping to set the standard for vacation rentals. Hey VRBO, come stay here!

What makes this house unique

Adjacent to Clear Creek and walking distance to all Golden has to offer. Cross the bridge behind house into Vanover Park at the end of the kayak course. Two blocks from the start of the Coors Brewery Tour. Two blocks to the Golden Hotel. Great for parents of Colorado School of Mines students and wedding parties. And you are only 20 minutes from Downtown Denver.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We totally agree with everything that has been said in this guestbook. Perfect location, perfect accommodations. It was wonderful to have the whole family stay in such a nice house.

Charming character in perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect property to rent for our week in Golden! We brought our 2 young daughters and the grandparents for my best friend's wedding week in the lovely town of Golden. This house gave us all plenty of room to spread out and have our own spaces. Having a pack & play and a highchair available made traveling with the babe so much easier! We walked everywhere & loved the accessibility to everything in town! Having a fenced in yard was perfect with the kiddos to safely run around and play outside. We fell in love with the city during our week in Golden! We hope to visit again and will definitely consider renting this property again next time!

Perfect house and location for our extended family!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location and the amenities of this charming bungalow. With six adults and our one year old grandson visiting for a wedding, the layout and living space met our needs perfectly. Plenty of privacy, hot water and shared spaces for socializing. Our grandson loved the backyard and we appreciated the bubbles and balls that were available for play times. They also had a crib and high hair for our convenience.

We walked, biked and hiked everywhere from this great location and would definitely come back for our next family reunion!

Convenient and Comfortable in downtown Golden

  • 5 of 5

The Brewmaster house was our home-base for graduation weekend at Colorado School of Mines. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bedrooms were cozy, the living area was welcoming, and the yard and patio were great for enjoying some fresh mountain air. The well-equipped kitchen made family style breakfasts easy. The location was perfect: a short scenic stroll across Clear Creek to the shops and restaurants of downtown Golden and the CSM campus ... yet far enough away from the bustle of downtown that the evenings were peaceful and quiet. For the graduation weekend, the Brewmaster house was our home away from home.

Nice and cozy Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a great place to stay and it was very close to the downtown strip. We were within close walking distance to every place we wanted to go. The house was clean and well equipped for our visit. The house was exactly as desribed in the web site.It was a lot nicer than staying in a hotel. More room and comfort. My grand daughter was visiting the Colorado school on Mines and this gave her a good idea of the town and surrounding area. She loved it. Definetly would recommend.
