Great Rental

We loved our stay at the lakeside cabin. The scenery was breathtaking and the sounds of the loons in the morning was amazing. The cabin was clean and cozy and the owners were very helpful with our plans. Would hope to return next year and thank you very much for sharing your little piece of paradise!

comfy and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

my family and I relaxed and enjoyed ourselves at this cozy and comfy cabin. Roomy enough for 4 of us. Barbara was very pleasant and helpful. she offered the use of her canoe and kayaks as well. we loved sitting on the dock all day long with our books; taking a dip every now and then in the lovely pond. ahhh, such bliss!!

2 of us golfed at Sunday River and we had a nice dinner out one night in Bethel.

Thank-you Barbara! we look forward to the next time!

Fabulously restful

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful time spent enjoying lake and loons. Quiet nights by fire. Days reading and walking. Morning coffee on porch watching the sun burn off lake mists. Views of forest, water and hills. Cabin is very friendly, private and right on the water. Went to sleep listening to loons and lapping waters under a cozy comforter. Restful and healing. Would go back in a minute.

Absolutely Perfect

  • 5 of 5

The pictures do not do this cabin justice. Barbara and her husband were very nice and helpful. It can be such a small world it turned out she went to high school with my brother in law. The location worked out very well for visiting family in Rumford. We would recommend this property highly. Bethel was the best town for eating out. I would recommend doing your shopping at the Hanafords in Rumford. The store is larger and has more selection. If you are up for a scenic drive try a trip to Jackson New Hampshire. Plan for a tuesday the Wildcat Inn & Tavern has a great twin lobster special for $ 12.99. I sure miss the loons !!!

A peaceful get-away

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was exactly as advertised and yet, the description cannot nearly capture the peacefulness we enjoyed during our stay. Barbara was so helpful and accommodating. The cabin is situated on a very quiet lake near Sunday River mountain. Every morning we woke up to a gorgeous sunrise coming through the bedroom window. We started the day with coffee down on the dock... and ended the day with a quiet dinner and time spent enjoying the fire as we had the time and space to talk and reconnect in this peaceful comfortable cabin. Thank you Barbara for a beautiful place that we enjoyed so much!
