Cornville Cottage Rental Photos and Description

3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, sleeps 6

Your cottage is located on Winery Row in Page Springs, Arizona, fifteen minutes from the statuesque red rock formations of Sedona. Over a half mile of private, pristine nature trails wind along beautiful Oak Creek, taking you back a thousand years in time. Bald eagles, fish eagles, deer, giant blue herons, foxes, beavers, otters, ring-tailed cats, javelina, mallards, large mouth black bass, bluegill, and trout are but a handful of your neighbors.

Our property is also popular for bird watching; members of the Audubon Society often visit for the incredible bird life. We have another cottage on the same lovely property (Piece of Heaven). Please inquire for availability if Quaint Getaway is reserved.

In addition Mason Creek and Page Springs wind through your private paradise! Come enjoy this peaceful, serene retreat away from life’s tension and worries. As a pet friendly property, your four legged friends will find lots to explore as well!

Your cottage is very rustic, yet high tech and elegant. It has two upstairs bedrooms, and one downstairs bedroom. The decor includes original oil paintings, bronzes and pottery; a total remodel was completed in 2010.

Big screen hi-def TV, wireless internet, $5,500 hi tech, Elmira, Canadian wood-burning cook stove (four burner electric if wood burner is not desired), one outdoor private patio, BBQ pit, access to hot tub are but a few of the many amenities included.

All our photos are taken on the property. We encourage you to spend time fishing, swimming, hiking and enjoying romantic evenings, Several guests have enjoyed their visit so much that they came back for wedding bells on the property! Last minute booking specials are available!

Perfect place to escape!

  • 5 of 5

We love this place! Perfect quiet grounds to relax and wander around! Kids loved it, dogs loved it, creek was perfect for playing in, and owners couldn't be nicer.. was our second time here, have stayed in both cabins, definitely liked the bigger one for more space and kids had a blast upstairs! Is kinda funky the ladder up in thru the bathroom, but hey, its a unique cabin! The smaller one was great when they were littler, and no stairs :) And all the fruit you can pick and eat- if it's ripe! Great location to Sedona and other destinations... Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us! We'll be back! :)

Average accomodation

  • 2 of 5

The cabin was clean and had a neat and unique layout. The beds were comfortable and living space cozy for nice relaxing evenings. The property is very pretty and close to vineyards and sedona.

As mentioned previously the space is very open and so could be awkward as friends were staying in the bottom room which had no doors but was off of the main living space. Also the upstairs is accessed by a ships ladder from the bathroom so if someone was using the bathroom the person upstairs couldn't come down. The ships ladder though a unique and fun feature was awkward for hauling luggage up and wouldnt be recommended to anyone without good balance:) We all thought the kitchen dishes, frying pans, hot plate etc left much to be desired, the wifi was very poor and we were disappointed that the hot tub wasnt automatically turned on (and took 8 hours to heat and we didnt see them to ask to turn it on in the morning so didnt get a chance to use it at all).

Normally wouldn't fuss over these details but for the large amount of money charged I would have expected higher quality.

So amazing!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was so cool! The layout of the cabin was a fun and pleasant surprise. My boys, age 7 and 9, loved the ladder up to the two bedrooms in the loft. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, pots, pans, and glasses. There is even a Brita water pitcher! The antique wood burning stove was beautiful! I thought the placement of electric burners over the wood burning stove was clever. Blends in so well, I didn't notice at first. :-) Oh, and there is an ironing board and iron!

The property was so beautiful! It's hard to imagine places like that exist in AZ! Our dog even had a great time! Jacquie was so sweet and welcoming! Chris is so kind! You can tell that there is a lot of love put into the cabins and property by the way everything is maintained. The cabin was very clean and the property was just so pretty!

The only drawback was that we wish we could've stayed longer! We cannot wait to go back next year!

We loved it!

  • 5 of 5

Ditto to the other reviews! We stayed over the Memorial Day weekend 2015 and were blessed with the finest weather and idyllic setting and hosts! As a family of five, including my 89 year old Mom, the larger home was perfect for our needs. The ladder was a little difficult for my old knees, but I planned my day around it. The bathroom is quite large but be aware that the ladder to the upstairs is located in there.

This trip was all about relaxing and we loved the creek ! I was able to take my book down to the seats, and read uninterrupted, unless you count the deer that came to visit across the water from me! Even in the dark, there were solar lights that allowed us to enjoy the evenings and the sounds of nature all around.

We did make the trip up to Jerome and Chris told us to be sure and visit the "real" ghost town on the road past the city. It was a great find as most of the people stayed in the main town. Up on the hill , we wandered among all the treasures from past mining days, panned for gold and minerals, and were fascinated by the local characters. Thanks Chris, for letting us in on this fun place!

Sitting out by the fire with hubby at night, away from the kids and Mom, was a great way to reconnect! We hope to visit again soon!

Great family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures didn't do the place justice. It was much more beautiful in person. The property was well maintained and extremely clean. As for the owners, they were both very helpful and friendly. After you check in, it's almost like they are not there. However, if you have any questions, they are just a phone call away. Anytime we needed anything, they were very helpful. Chris provided us with a list of things to do. However, we just enjoyed being down by the creek and cooking next to the grill. I don't think you can find a better place for the accommodation's; very relaxing. I definitely recommend this place. In fact I've already told several friends and they are interested in renting there now. I look forward to coming back. Again, thanks for the wonderful memories!
