Hi Becky & Aaron..
I'm back to work this morning... and STILL thinking about our fabulous weekend and how much we enjoyed your condo. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We enjoyed it so much.. the condo was absolutely perfect... and it was everything we needed!
We decided that we'd love an annual trip to Nashville.. so hopefully we can get that done! We will definitely recommend your wonderful condo to our friends and we look forward to returning next year!
Thanks again... and have a great day!
We could not have asked for a better location for our first trip to explore Nashville and surrounding areas. So close to everything whether driving or walking....a nice central hub! You are surrounded by the different music businesses (BMI, Seasac, Curb Records) and right around the corner is Owen Peabody Park by Buddy Killen Circle where the Fountains of Musica are located. A really quaint and beautiful spot. We walked to Just Love Coffee in the mornings for a quick caffeine fix and over to DeSano Pizza Bakery for a fun dinner (BYOB!). The more we wandered around, the more places we found (TinRoof, DawgHouse, Winners & Losers, etc.) along with the ever lively Broadway honky tonks. It seemed like it was a short drive to virtually everything, too - Grand Ole Opry, Gaylord Opryland, Opry Mills, Belle Meade Plantation, Arrington Vineyards & museums. Certainly not lacking in the "things to do" category! The condo itself was spotless, functional and comfortable. Easy in and out access. Our only problem was that the elevator was out of order all but one day of the trip and we had to schlep up/down from the 6th floor everyday. Obviously not something that could have been foreseen or quickly fixed but I notified the owners so that they were aware. On the upside, it did help us get to our 10,000 steps per day goals! Overall, it is truly a hidden gem and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Becky and Aaron!
Where to begin… when you arrive you will see a very drab concert exterior and you will start thinking, oh no what did I book. You then get into the lobby and the mirrored elevator and you really start to get concerned. Exit on the sixth floor and you see old carpet and bland walls. Oh god, my wife is going to kill me for booking this place. Directly ahead lies the condo door. You push the code and bam! Home run… who is the savior of the trip, this guy! You walk into a magical place, clean and fresh smelling. You will simply be in awe at how wonderful the space is inside. It gets better once you read about the history and the stories associated with the property. We had a few minor issues with burnt out lightbulbs and wifi issues, but Rebecca and Aaron were super responsive and addressed the concerns right away. The kitchenette is cute and functional, the George Foreman grill allowed us to cook up chicken and burgers during our stay.
Plenty of great local restaurants, we really enjoyed the Tin Roof. Great prices and drink specials you will not find in the tourist trap downtown. If you don’t want to walk downtown, it’s a cheap Lyft or Uber ride, or sign up for the bicycle rentals for the week for $10, located right on the rotary. We loved the pool, it was fantastic. Oh and I must mention the people. All of the residents made us feel welcome and at home even though we were visitors, everyone was so nice. Even Shawn, the guys selling street papers by the rotary was super nice and made a point to say hi to everyone, every day. Overall, a fantastic place to stay and if I come back to Nashville I would absolutely stay here again.
My only feedback is you need a small step stool to get the clothes out of the dryer for us short people!!!! Thank you for sharing your property with us.
We would not have wanted to stay anywhere else! The location is in a perfect location close to whatever you may want or need. The walk/ride to Broadway is extremely easy and simple. We were treated like very well, almost felt like we lived there and were not leaving. Condo is spacious and comfortable, and the history behind the building just tops it all off! We definitely plan on returning!
We had the best time in Nashville! Thank you very much for sharing your rental. It was exactly what we needed. It was in a great location, not too far from downtown. The double burner in the kitchen is great for a small breakfast. The elevator can be a little scary at times. Quiet location with a quick Uber to the hustle and bustle. I wish we could have stayed longer!!
We arrived the day before Thanksgiving with the help of Becky's wonderful detailed directions! Beautiful condo in the heart of everything...thank you Becky for the bottle of wine..what a great treat after 10 hours of driving. We either walked or called Uber never moved our car until we left....wonderful restaurants, incredible shopping, site seeing all just minutes from the condo. We spent a lot of ttime in The Gulch...highly recommend the great shopping and food...a few minutes walk. We had everything we needed in the condo and the beds were super comfortable after a long day out in Nashville. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much for sharing your condo with us. Troy, Sandy and Austin
From the moment we stepped into this condo, saw the welcome bottle of red wine and the beautiful decor, we knew we had made a great choice! Becky was very kind and accommodating, a wonderful host! The property has a huge pool which is in keeping with the Music City ;)! We were fortunate in that the pool was open when we arrived and the weather cooperated most of the time we were there. We loved the history of the place, the proximity to all the recording studios and beautiful surroundings as well as the great walks back and forth to the downtown area. You can walk to the Ryman, Bridgestone Arena, Country Music Hall of Fame and all the music venues downtown, or just relax by the pool. With our car, we were able to park under the building (ground level) and drive to Percy Warner Park for an amazing hike, complete with a beautiful barn owl who posed for us! We also took a gander at the Loveless Hotel in the same area. What a great tourist destination. The beds are comfortable, the rain shower is incredible, the jacuzzi looked great although we didn't have the time to use it, and you are able to cook small meals, make coffee and use the refrigerator. We also loved the proximity to about 8 different places to eat, drink and relax in, that were 5 minutes from the condo. We found the condo quiet as well. All in all, we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thank you Becky and Aaron!
