Condo, 2 Bedroom 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)
I love to fix up old buildings, be active outdoors, read, hang out with my husband and kids, do yoga and travel.
Owner purchased this Condo in 2004
Why Owner chose Powderhorn
I bought this beautiful brick building and restored it because of it's location... plus did I mention it is beautiful? I love hosting travelers and I wanted to see if I could make a unit or two work as vacation rentals.
What makes this Condo unique
It will be more homelike than a hotel and quiet, plus it has a fully equipped kitchen and is pet friendly.

This apartment is set up very comfortably for a short or long stay. A good location for getting anywhere. The kitchen had lots of dishes, pots and pans, etc. And, a real bonus having a garage.
Convenient location - only suggestion would be to add more tv options than basic cable.
A wonderful weekend!
We stayed at the Brownstone Condo for a three day weekend with friends and it was great! The condo is clean and comfortable and the woodwork and leaded glass add great character to the space. Salle was super responsive...when the coffee maker wasn't working we let her know later in the day and she brought a new one over the next morning! We found so many things to do within walking distance...May Day Cafe, Powderhorn Park, Midtown Global Market, the Midtown Greenway, the Tiny Cafe, the Midtown Farmer's Market, Ingebretsen's, Maria's Cafe...a great condo in a fun and funky neighborhood!
Two Couples Visit Target Field
We spent two nights in the condo on a visit to Minneapolis for a Cubs/Twins game. The accommodations worked out great for us. Renting a condo is a nice option for two couples traveling together. The cost is comparable to two hotel rooms and it's nice to have the common area for socializing. On our first night we walked to Matt's Bar for a burger, had a few drinks at the patio set, and played cards into the evening. The next morning we made breakfast, walked the short distance to the light rail station, and took the train directly to the stadium So easy and convenient!
After the game we had a bite to eat downtown, and then returned to the condo to watch the end of the PGA tournament. I will say that the new tv was pretty small for viewing golf...but I'll also admit that there are many things that people could/should be doing while visiting the cities instead of watching golf on tv.
The rental was very clean and very comfortable. The location is really great. It is nice to be able to park the car and then use the train for transportation. Having the car in a locked garage is an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
Just a few things to note for the owner...there were no salt/pepper shakers in the kitchen and we couldn't find paper towels to replace the roll that was nearly empty when we arrived. Also, since there is only one bathroom, it would be nice if there were mirrors in the bedrooms to help speed up the "getting ready to go" process.
Again, I give this rental a high recommendation and will check its availability the next time I'm in town for a show or a game. Oh...I almost forgot ....Cubs win 8-0!!
Enjoyable stay in a great neighborhood
Great place to stay close to many places like Powderhorn Park, May Day Cafe, Pillsbury House, Latin focused restaurants along Lake St, and the train station. Worked out well for a group of touring performers in town for three weeks. Loved being able to walk around the neighborhood. Spacious living and dining area. We used the kitchen well. The place was clean and comfortable. Easy access and information available by property owner.
Great stay in minneapolis
I rented the condo pictured above for an entire month. I had a great stay at the unit itself and in the city of Minneapolis. The unit is very nice and well equipped with most amenities you need while visiting. I highly recommend it.
Powderhorn Park is a five block away. A lovely place to stroll around the lake and enjoy outdoor urban park. Shopping, cafes, LRT, Midtown Exchange Indoor International Market at 25th and Chicago ( less than a mile walk). Matt's burgers at an nearby 'classic bar' two blocks away. The Mayday Cafe at Bloomington and 35th. Yummy bread pudding and a diverse coffee and cafe crowd. Target, Cub and Rainbow foods about 6 blocks away just past LRT station at Lake Street Station. Seward Natural Food Coop about two miles away at 2823 Franklin Ave.
