This cabin sits on the outskirts of Woodland Park - with incredible views of Pikes Peak from every window. Lots of deck for entertaining including a stone outdoor fireplace. Walk out the gate and your on the National Forest trail. Have you ever been to the Rampart Range Reservoir area - 5 minutes out of Woodland Park. Awesome National Forest area - with a large reservoir for fishing and oodles of trails. And then spend a day doing all the tourist attractions - 15 minutes to Pikes Peak Train, Cave of the Winds, Santa's Village, Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy etc etc.

The cabin itself is nice and bright and sunny - pellet stove, living room - family room, and huge sitting/reading room off of the upstairs bedroom. It even has a loft area for the kids to camp out in.

Enjoy relaxing and taking in the Pikes Peak View: If your goal is just to get away from it all and spend time just relaxing then you will enjoy this home. Beautiful views for a beautiful weekend!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I booked this house for a weekend stay in the area since our friend was getting married close by. We couldn't have asked for a better place. First, the view from the house (especially the glassed-in top floor) was gorgeous. We got lots of great pictures! The layout was also set up in a great way so that we could hangout together in a few larger places or get some rest to ourselves in the others areas of the house. Lots of rooms to choose from. The house is well described and is well maintained. The house is nice and private, but a short trip into town takes you to a few great restaurants and shops. It was great to be away from most people but still be able to get pizza delivery. We would recommend this house to any big family or group wanting a stay in the mountains.

Had a wonderful time with the whole family. Great place to chill with the family, cook out and sit by the outdoor fireplace. Close to everything we were interested in seeing. Love the little town of Woodland Park.

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful family vacation site. We had plenty of space and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the deck relaxing. The view is amazing and our family of 3 couples and one child had plenty of room without tripping over one another. The only thing is the owner should really fix some of the windows that want to fall out when you try to open them, a door knob and not let repairs go....for such a beautiful home.

Spacious Home with Incredible Views of Pikes Peak!

The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils and cookware. Access to a spacious two car garage was an added bonus! Our group came out to ride motorcycles through Rampart and this house could not have been more perfect for us! Highly recommended and would stay again!

What a fantastic week!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous time in this beautiful home. It was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. There's a first floor bedroom perfect for the seniors, then plenty of upstairs rooms for the young bucks. The view is spectacular and we spent most of our time on the large deck. Fires every night in the large fireplace on the deck with wine and s'mores. Mike, Maggie and Avonlea were very responsive to any and all questions and super easy to work with and provided us with a high chair and pack & play for the baby.

Do be careful with the windows, some open, some don't. But Mike came out promptly and took care of getting one closed. And, we wish there had been recycle. We felt bad throwing away all the stuff we usually recycle. Otherwise, completely perfect vacation. We would definitely stay again.

There is also a wonderful outdoor stone fireplace for your use - as long as there are not fire bans in place. Keep the fire low and keep the screen in front of it - so no sparks get away. It is right next to the National Forest - would hate to be the starters of a forest fire. Guest to supply there on firewood . many stores in town have bundles of wood for sale.
