We had a fabulous time in this beautiful home. It was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. There's a first floor bedroom perfect for the seniors, then plenty of upstairs rooms for the young bucks. The view is spectacular and we spent most of our time on the large deck. Fires every night in the large fireplace on the deck with wine and s'mores. Mike, Maggie and Avonlea were very responsive to any and all questions and super easy to work with and provided us with a high chair and pack & play for the baby.
Do be careful with the windows, some open, some don't. But Mike came out promptly and took care of getting one closed. And, we wish there had been recycle. We felt bad throwing away all the stuff we usually recycle. Otherwise, completely perfect vacation. We would definitely stay again.
The house is very nice and has a wonderful view of the mountains. It was clean, well furnished, plenty of towels etc. Fairly clear instructions on how to use everything such as the pellet stoves, TV, and dishwasher. Comfortable beds and sitting areas, lots of room for people to relax. We had a great stay, everyone very much enjoyed the house.
Our family had a wonderful time staying here. Thank you so much for everything. We like to keep things simple, so being able to enjoy the outdoors together, and come home and relax was perfect. The only challenges we had was wifi, and ran out of toilet paper. But hey, Colorado is a beautiful state, and while on vacation.. Everyone should unplug anyway! :) easy enough to pick up toiletries and food at the Safeway and Walmart nearby. We plan on visiting in the future! Thanks again.

Overall, we had a wonderful time for our family reunion/anniversary. The place was somewhat eclectic - arrangement of rooms and dinning table were somewhat unusual, but it worked out. A couple items were in need of repair with notes to clarify. The view was breathtaking and you felt like you were away from it all, yet a convenient distance to town. Enjoyed our stay and made great memories.
We were very impressed with this home. It was very spacious and accommodated our large group. We had plenty of areas in which to sleep and to hang out with each other. The view was spectacular! What a sight to see Pike's Peak from the home! The kitchen was very well-stocked overall. We could have used an electric mixer and possibly a blender. I bought a cheese grater and left it since there wasn't one there, but besides those things there were plenty of other wonderful tools to use. We loved the hiking trail on the backside of the property. We enjoyed the snowfall on Thursday. The grandkids had a blast playing in the snow. The communication with the property manager was prompt and the information provided for us was well detailed. The house was very clean when we arrived. We loved the beautiful loop drive from Divide to Cripple Creek and then through Florisant on our way back to Woodland Park. Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs was amazing. There are plenty of videos and cd's at the cabin and they even had some games. The home was decorated for fall with cute knick knacks. We would highly recommend this place to anyone we know and have already raved about it to friends and family!
House was well equipped and very well located. Plenty of room for all, with separate areas to get away, or be together. Awesome views, quiet area and huge deck. Our only complaint was the washed out areas on the side of the driveway which caused a couple of vehicles to become stuck, and the clothes dryer did not work. After 3 dry cycles the jeans were still wet and had to be hung up outside. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat tho..
Golf: Woodland Park does have a nice golf course on the edge of town - 1 mile from the cabin. 18 holes
