The Four Seasons Hualalai Resort is the only AAA 5-Diamond resort on the Big Island, and has received numerous other accolades since opening 18 years ago. As you would expect from a Four Seasons property, the facilities are spectacular and the service is impeccable. With 5 pools, 2 golf courses, 8 tennis courts, the highest rated spa in Hawaii, and a Kids for All Seasons camp, there is something for everybody. Some of the more unique amenities include a snorkeling pond stocked with tropical fish, Eagle Ray feeding, and a sandy bottomed, zero entry childrens' pool and play area. You will be able to enjoy major improvements made to the resort over this period including a new Palm Grove adult pool, renovated and expanded spa with new gym equipment, new restaurants (Beach Tree and Ulu) fronting the ocean, and addition of more retail.
By staying in an owner's condo, guests have full access to the Four Seasons Hualalai Resort just like hotel guests do, but with the spaciousness and convenience of staying in a house. Guests have full charging privileges at the hotel and its outlets, as well as use of the Residential Concierge during your stay to assist with all manner of arrangements both within and outside of the resort. Getting around the resort is easy as you have use of TWO E-Z Go golf carts (4 seater and a 6 seater. Compared to booking multiple rooms/suites at the hotel, a 3 bedroom villa is more convenient for families and bigger groups, not to mention cost effective. The two master bedrooms have king size beds with on-suite bathrooms for privacy. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The full gourmet kitchen has granite counter tops, with Sub Zero, Wolf, and Bosch appliances, including an outdoor Wolf grill. There is also an office nook for privacy. Views from the two lanais (balconies) are breathtaking.
We are proud, long standing Hualalai homeowners. After first honeymooning here in 1997, we continue to enjoy all the resort has to offer with our growing family when we can. It truly is a wondrous spot and creates memories that you will cherish for a lifetime. Treat yourself to the best on the Big Island, and don't leave your vacation to chance! If you have any questions about the rental unit and/or the resort, have special requests, or would like additional photos, please don't hesitate to email us and we will respond to you promptly.
Everything was quite nearly perfect and full access to the Four Seasons amenities was just one of the best overall experiences possible. Exactly as represented and more. The owner was thoughtful and a pleasure to deal with, you cannot go wrong. Will always remember fondly.
The Hualalai Four Seasons is as good as it gets!!! And having the convenience of a spacious beautiful villa was a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. The interior of the villa was beautiful, but not too stuffy to not be able to relax. The convenience of a kitchen was great, and the space for my family of five to each spread out was perfect. Although the location was a bit far from the main resort, the two golf carts made it easily doable and part of the experience! The owner went above and beyond to familiarize me with the property and the Big Island in general prior to our arrival and was always reachable. I highly recommend this property and hope to go back myself!
My family always loves Hualalai but this time we especially enjoyed our holiday given that we found this perfectly appointed home that has a perfect perch with sweeping views. The enticing listing photos were not mere marketing but the real thing. The surroundings inside and outside this villa made it a perfect and happy stay as we appreciated the chic decor and views of the ocean in the front and mountains in the back. I must admit I initially had reservations about the villa's distance to the main resort area but I soon found that it was a pleasantly refreshing golf ride that was a mere 5 minutes longer than other places we have stayed. The owner is very attentive and great to work with as we had a small snafu with one of the golf cart's batteries dying on us, but he was fantastic about taking care of it right away and, thereafter, the cart was as good as new! I would highly recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for a beautiful villa that is well priced - I have already booked my stay for next year!
You just can't beat The Four Seasons Hualalai! Beautifully appointed villa with spectacular views! Great place to come home to after a fun filled day to relax and gather. Convenience of a kitchen was terrific so the hotel food bill doesn't get out of hand! Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!
We had a fantastic week with our 2 year old daughter and my husband's parents. This was our first time staying in a Villa vs. the hotel. There is a conveniece of staying at the hotel and being able to walk everywhere but the golf carts made it so easy that you didn't feel a difference. We also had a mid week cleaning during our stay that was great to have the place spruced up. The Villa is much lovelier than the photos on the website. We are already looking at future dates to return. The owner was very responsive and made our stay perfect!
We very much enjoyed our stay in this condo/villa. The listing description was totally accurate regarding furnishings, amenities, location. The condo is beautifully appointed (down to the Waterworks plumbing fixtures), tastefully decorated, and exceedingly well-maintained (not a thing out of line). I had read the reviews so knew to bring our own beach towels since we were planning to go to beaches all over the island. (there are lots of things to done at the resort, but, if you like to stay moving -- there is a great beach for bodysurfing and boogie boarding a 5 minute drive south of Hualalai Resort, and many others up and down the coast.) Dining and resort amenities are what you would expect of a Four Seasons, and easily accessed/arranged via the resort owners' concierge or on your own. The owner was totally straightforward, very helpful. Smooth transaction. Great vacation.
Other Activities: Boating, wildlife viewing, raquetball, rock climbing, basketball, shopping, kayaking.
Golf: Two 18-hole golf courses. The Hualalai Course was designed by Jack Nicklaus. The Keolu Course was designed by Tom Weiskopf
