Large Corner Beachfront family apartment in the Zona Norte section of Cartagena. A short walk to the Hotel Las Americas, Radisson and Sonesta hotels. 205 square meters of lovely stone floor and whitewashed cement walls. Very private apartment only three apartments on the level. The apartment is located on the fifth floor, two floors from rooftop pool. And the building has direct beach access.
This is a LEGAL rental. We are licensed and comply with all Ministry requirements. Be careful many apartments in Cartagena are not legal. We are a registered tourist apartment in full compliance with Colombian law. You can check our status with the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Tourism. Our license number is RNT # 24166.
WE CAN ONLY RENT TO FAMILIES. MAXIMUM 8 PERSONS AND BUILDING DOES NOT ALLOW DAY GUESTS OR PETS.

All reservations even through Book it Now are TENTATIVE and subject to receipt of documentation and a separate signed rental agreement, a model is available through vrbo. Your must cancel the reservation if you do not agree to the terms. Please contact us with questions.

Please respect Check-in 12pm to 5pm /check out times 9am to 3 pm. We CANNOT work around your early morning and late evening flights no matter how much cheaper they are... please!!
The terrace is spacious with two sections, two double hammocks and a large 8 top table for al fresco dining.
The open kitchen and living/room dining area is breezy and bright.
Three large comfortable bedrooms offer the privacy of their own full bathroom. There is also a guest half bath off of the living room.
There is an enclosed t.v. room/home office with a brand new smart tv, we have enhanced fast wifi and cable.
Our building is ubiquitous in the area, and is well known for its unique feng shui design,
It is very private and extremely exclusive (please understand that is why we have such strict security procedures).
Inside and out it is a very elegant, yet unpretentious environment.
There are 24 hour security guards at both the main entrance and garage and at the beach access entrance.
The beach access area is direct from the building and has outdoor showers and a bathroom available.
There is a small playground for young children on the second floor mezzanine.
The rooftop common area has lots of open space for yoga and fitness classes offered by the building twice a week (registration and fee required) and you are welcome to use our fitness items in the apartment.
Rental includes daily cleaning service for 5 days a week Monday through Friday.
Building is 5 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the walled city and 15-20 minutes from Bocagrande.
We can offer help with additional apartments in our building. We can also arrange tours, transportation and in home services such as massages, mani pedis, catering and yoga. Contact us for details.
Please note that in addition to the nightly rate there are additional charges that are calculated at check-out separately partially for accounting reasons but also because of this websites new policies. This includes additional charges per person after 4 people with a firm maximum of 8. Please review the detailed quote before requesting a booking. First the VRBO service fee is paid to and received by VRBO/Homeaway not us. The Security Deposit is received and held by VRBO/Homeaway and is released to you directly by them at the end of your stay. We do not see, hold or otherwise control it. And if you choose to cancel within our cancellation policy period we cannot process a refund of those amounts. That must be done by you through vrbo.com directly.
The building charges a penalty per person for short term rentals for anyone that enters and therefore anyone accessing the building requires our written express written permission.
Therefore all guests must be registered at the time of booking with copies of passports provided with the rental agreement. We reserve the right to refuse entry if identities of guests are changed.
We are proud to say that we are in the process of certification as a Sustainable Tourism Establishment and we will ask you to agree to adhere to guidelines on Protection of the Environment, Respect for local Patrimony and vulnerable communities, Rejection of trafficking of local flora and fauna, Sexual Tourism, Child Labor and discrimination of any kind. 9. Service Fee Payable by Travelers.
We (vrbo) charge a service fee payable by travelers who book a property on the Site via the Site checkout. We chose this building in the Boquilla section because we wanted a relaxing beach environment and an exclusive building with a strong neighbor/community atmosphere.
Many activities nearby for children, wonderful neighbors. There are only approximately 40 apartments in the building, all are large family apartments and many owners are year round residents. This is a rental to bring your family or friends with their family and enjoy a comfortable, relaxing stay at the beach. The building management is very strict about enforcing noise and nuisance regulations. It is not a party or 'spring break' appropriate destination.
First of all Clayton and her staff are wonderful! We were taken care of as if we were part of the family. My son got sick while we were staying in her home and everyone was so accommodating to help us. I highly recommend staying in this home. PS the infinity pool is amazing!
Our stay at this apartment was absolutely perfect. It is large -- 3 bedrooms plus a little study, and it is totally immaculate yet comfortable. It is the perfect mix of clean and fresh and not being so precious that you're worried the kids might ruin something. The balcony overlooks the beach and the skyline of Cartagena and is just beautiful. The building itself is nice and quiet, most of our visits to the rooftop pool we had the pool to ourselves. If you prefer the beach, it is easily accessed and so sweet and simple for young children.
The owner, Clayton, was full of fabulous suggestions and was more than accommodating sharing information and tips for traveling with little ones. Leydis, the empleada, was sweet and helpful. My kids were begging for her to come back and make more eggs. Having her there made it a true vacation for Mom -- I would return to clean laundry folded on the bed and a sparkling kitchen.
We were in town for my sister's wedding so we didn't eat near the apartment (except for at home), but there were a couple of restaurants near the building and the Radisson next door. We did order lunch from the man who rents tents on the beach one day and it was excellent and lots of fun for the kids.
The building is about 15 minute drive from the walled city and when our driver was unavailable the security guard at the front desk was able to call us a taxi. Its proximity to the Radisson hotel came in handy when I needed to use an ATM for some fun beach activities -- we could just walk next door for some cash when we needed it!
This apartment was an absolutely perfect fit for a family vacation -- I couldn't have asked for anything better and I recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you so much Clayton for all of your incredible help in making our week fabulous!
This was our second 10 day stay, and we believe the apartment was even better this year. You will not find a better location - directly on the beach and on the 5th floor. La Boquilla is so much less congested than Boca Grande you feel as if you own the beach. The maid is unobtrusive and does much to ensure you are comfortable. She is an excellent cook, so just ask for things you want to try. The highway construction does not interfere with your experience or solitude - causes only minor issues for taxi drivers trying to enter. We recommend just using taxis unless you are traveling far from Cartagena. They are inexpensive and efficient, and the front door security guard will call them for you. The apartment is very spacious and we recommend it for couples of any age. Try lunch at La Mulatta in the old city, and inquire about tours (especially if you want a private tour) with Walter at Guianza Express. We plan to return next year.
Apartment was just as described/in photos, or better! Perfect beachfront location (nice, wide, sandy beach- sand/sea not pristine white/blue, but clean and safe and beautiful); sunsets couldn't be more gorgeous! Everyone in the area is super friendly and helpful, the daily maid (Leydis) is fantastic - and makes delicious fruit drinks!! The rooftop pool is beautiful and never crowded, the beds (and hammocks!) comfortable. Location is great - very close to airport, and a quick cab ride to the walled city. Will definitely put this on our "let's do this again!" list. Thank you!!
The condo was better than described. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space to eat, hang out, sleep, and plenty of bathrooms. The view from the condo is great. It looks out over the beach and ocean. The condo came with a house keeper that did a tremendous job cooking, cleaning, and making sure we didn't need anything. The roof top pool was all ours and offered a great place to enjoy the Cartagena ocean view. I highly recommend this property. The owner did an outstanding job keeping us informed, answering our questions, and hooking us up with services (car, boat, restaraunts) we needed. We will definitely be back at this location. It exceeded our expectations. Thanks for a great spot!

It's not us. It's the building. You agree by accepting this booking that your group is a family. We reserve the right to reject registrations of groups who ignore this requirement and will retain the deposit after the cancellation period has passed.
