Nice place, sweet views, lots to do or not. Family fires and hot tub. Doesn't get much better. Loved it all and sorry to go. From Surrey by choice.

A wonderful holiday home.

  • 4 of 5

This was our second stay at Otter Point Beach House and we loved it just as much the second time around.

The location is fantastic, right on its own secluded bay and the otters and harbour seals do come right into the little bay and in the case of the otters run up the beach in front of the house.

The house is simply furnished with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms good sized and clean. The kitchen well appointed.

Danica met us as arranged and was very friendly.

We sampled all the various coffee shops- Stick in the Mud and Serious Coffee being the ones we liked best.

We ate at Stone Pipe Grill, Route 14 and Mai Mai's bistro all of which provided good food at reasonable prices.

We went to the Saltworks and local Cidery, drove up to beach-comb on Botanical Beach, hiked along some of the Galloping Goose trail and sat out on the point at the House watching the wildlife in the sea and on land ( bald eagle sitting by the house).

We would recommend this to a family looking for a relaxing holiday.

Such a delightful stay

  • 5 of 5

We were so delighted with the Otter Point beach house. It does have a family of otters, bald eagles an various sea creatures. We had croquet tournaments, barbeques, toasted marshmallows, jumped in the ocean, and then jumped in the hot tub and did beach combing. We had our family of eight, and it was a very comfortable space in a beautiful location..

Awesome location

  • 4 of 5

House was the right size for four adults and two small children. Although inside of the house was dated, it was clean and fully functional. Yard was spacious and quite private with stunning views of the Juan de Fuca Strait. Lots of firewood for a well situated fire pit. There was some road noise but it wasn't that noticeable once you got settled in. Lots of places to explore on the beach and close enough to town. Overall, quite an enjoyable stay and I would recommend it for those that love nature.

Great Spot for a Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Otter Point Beach House was clean with a well stocked kitchen for cooking, lots of towels (and laundry to refresh them) and incredible views. The hot tub was amazing! Danica answered all my questions quickly and was very friendly. Close to Victoria yet surprisingly private. I can't wait to go back!
