The newly restored villa, which dates back to the late 18th century, is built on three levels, and has just been restored to high standards. While retaining all possible original features including antique furnishings, as well as drawings, paintings and numerous family heirlooms that fill the rooms including the 5 large bedrooms, the villa is equipped and furnished to a higher degree - that greatly exceeds what one expects of a holiday property.
In the spacious interiors the villa boasts fine old exposed beams and rafters, original polished parquet floors, terracotta tiled floors, French arched windows, and vaulted ceilings.
The marvelous second level features two hand painted bedrooms whose windows, that both trick and delight the eye, also resemble exquisite framed paintings.
The terrace, fenced with old wrought iron railings, is accessible from the living room and the study via the vaulted French windows. The panoramic terrace which overlooks the swimming pool and the garden below is partly shaded by a large grove of high laurels. The grounds provides a built-in grill and offers shady sitting areas to enjoy a drink or a meal all within eyesight of children who play in the swimming pool.
