Village Green is a four seasons resort and, located in the upper village, our property is well-situated with views of the golf course and spectacular mountains. It's easy to relax here, with a spacious open-plan living area with gas fireplace and well equipped kitchen downstairs and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs.

The main Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak ski areas are only about five miles away and the free ski bus stops within a few yards of the property.

Even in winter, the area has many attractions for the non-skier, such as art galleries, museums and, of course, shopping.

For hikers, cyclists and roller-bladers there is a superb recreation path leading to the lower village, with yet more restaurants, shops and galleries.

Life always feels good at Village Green and we're always sorry when we have to leave...

Joy & Edward Tracey: We're a British couple with two grown-up sons and we've enjoyed many wonderful vacations in various places in the USA, so it was a natural choice when we decided to buy our holiday home. We always maintain that when we're on holiday, we need somewhere that is immaculately clean, comfortable, well-equipped, well-situated and welcoming, giving us a real 'home from home' where we can relax and this is what we try to provide in our Village Green condo.

Why Joy Tracey chose Stowe Area

We're both keen skiers and hikers and Edward also enjoys golf, so these facilities were all taken into account when we chose Stowe. There were several other locations that we considered, but we fell in love with Stowe because of the superb sking, wonderful golf, the village atmosphere, friendly people, spectacular scenery, excellent restaurants, shops and galleries - it's a choice we've never regretted!

Because we live in England, we had to buy somewhere where we could rely on the place being well-maintained in our absence and to know that any potential problems that our guests might have would be resolved promptly, courteously and fairly. After doing some reasearch on this, we found that the Village Green staff were perfectly suited to meet our requirements and, after more than ten years, we have even more confidence in them.

Our two sons and their girlfriends join us each year to ski and they love it as much as we do.

What makes this condo unique

Apart from being adjacent to Stowe Golf/Country Club and ideally situated for the Mount Mansfield/Spruce Peak ski areas, Village Green is right on the nationally acclaimed Stowe Recreation Path, used solely for walkers and non-motorised transport, such as cycles, rollerblades, etc. The total loop is 11 miles long, but various shops and restaurants can be accessed from loop. The scenery is amazing. Away from the Recreation Path, there are endless opportunities for cycling and hiking. Whilst using our condo, guests have the use of the Village Green facilities: indoor & outdoor heated pools, hot tub, tennis courts, sauna, games room, coin-operated laundry, free wi-fi in the condo and also in and around the office area/pool area.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Village Green and the condo unit was great; very comfortable living and dining space, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and bathroom space. Setting was beautiful and we were able to snowshoe out the front door. Staff at the front office are very helpful; we left some clothes in the unit at the end of our visit and they mailed the items to us the next day. We look forward to our return.



We will definitely come back to you for our next visit to Stowe; we are actually itching for a long weekend at Stowe this winter if possible. I notice your unit is booked for most weekends this season, but we'll periodically check your calendar if we pin down some times for a visit.

Wonderful place to stay at Stowe

We had such a wonderful stay during the first weekend of March. The condo was exactly as described; however, it was even more roomy than the pictures indicated - perfect for our family. It was very clean, comfortable, and quiet yet convenient to everything. We can't wait to stay again next year! And, the owners are so lovely and were a pleasure to work with - they were so on top of all of the arrangements.

Comfortable Stay in Stowe at The Village Green!

We could not have been happier with our stay at The Village Green! The staff at the Front Desk was warm and friendly and check-in and check-out procedures were super easy. The condo itself was perfect for our needs. Comfortable living and dining areas and super comfortable beds! We truly enjoyed those! It was very nice to have two showers and we were all raving about the great water pressure in the condo.

All of our communications with the owner before arriving were clear and concise. She was so friendly and welcoming and answered all our questions. One of our concerns before our stay was Wi-Fi connectivity and she went out of her way to explain over email how they had their own Wi-Fi in the unit. That is not the case in certain other units in the complex. We really appreciated her help and were so pleased with the ease and strength of the Wi-Fi signal when we arrived.

Since we are very familiar with Stowe we really appreciated the location of this unit at The Village Green since we could easily escape the traffic of the Mountain Road and its backups in town by utilizing Cape Cod Road in the other direction. Cape Cod Rd>Weeks Hill Rd>Mayo Farm Rd>W Hill Rd>Route 100 is always the way to go!

Given the chance we would not hesitate to stay here again and we would certainly recommend it to anyone coming to Stowe for a visit. One last note about our stay that was quite fun: we were thrilled to look out the back window and watch a woodchuck and her baby frolic around in the grass. They were out there each day and by the end of our stay had moved even closer to eat. Definitely something you don't see every day and will be part of our wonderful memories from the weekend we stayed at The Village Green in Stowe.

I loved the location you are close to all the restaurants, pretty view out the living room window, gas fireplace, perfect for 5-6 people. The owner is so nice responds to your mails quickly. Looking forward to going back in November

Great place for a family ski trip

We rented this condo for our annual ski trip to Vermont. It was our first time at Stowe, and this condo was perfect for our family. It was spacious and clean with all the amenities we needed. The mountain road shuttle was a convenient way to get to the mountian, and the staff at Village Green was friendly and accommodating.

Great condo, quiet but close to everything

Terrific place! Just the right size for our family of four. A very quiet unit in the back of the complex, away from major roads. Well maintained and appointed. Our hosts provided excellent information. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!
