This elegantly furnished one bedroom duplex is housed in an antique Nantucket cottage on quiet residential Union Street, only one block south of Warren Street, the city's 'Main Street'. The cottage was originally moved to Hudson from Nantucket Island in the early 1800's by one of the city founders.
The Duplex consists of a ground and second floors at the middle section of the cottage and has its own private entrance. The entrance is a few steps to the large back patio with furnishings. Very quiet and private.
The Duplex's first floor is an open floor with a small country kitchen and large living area and the second floor has the large elegant bedroom suite with Queen bed. Wide plank floors throughout and is beautifully furnished. It is sunny, airy and charming.
Walk one(1) short block north of the cottage brings you to the heart of Warren Street, the 'main street' of Hudson. Historic Hudson is well known for its eclectic architectures, galleries, shops, restaurants, places/events of interest, such as the 'Hudson Opera House' and the 'Winter Art Walk'.
Walk three(3) blocks west brings you to the Hudson's Riverfront Park and the Hudson Train Station. If you are from New York City, it takes only a two(2) hours scenic train ride from Penn Station to the Hudson Train Station (serviced by Amtrak), giving you the option to be car free for your visit to Hudson.
Within a 30 minutes radius driving out of Hudson, you can visit rolling farms, wineries, historic sites and other small quaint villages. Come and explore the best of both world - a little bit of city and a little bit of country.

I moved to Hudson after living in Park Slope, Brooklyn for over 20 years. Here I found peace and harmony living in an urban setting within a large countryside that mirrors my Park Slope experience (small town living within a large city). I welcome you to visit and share that unique experience.
Sarah Louie purchased this apartment in 2006
The children & I felt very much at home. We had a wonderful stay...the only thing missing was an iron...felt like home away from home.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Hudson. Cottage was comfortable and Sarah was attentive to our needs. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay.
Clean and well cared for.
Owner very helpful.
Would stay again if in Hudson.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Hudson. The apartment was perfectly situated, one block from Warren Street, the main drag. Easy access to shops & restaurants without the noise of the main street.
Would certainly return.
Sarah's apartment is a cozy place to enjoy a visit in Hudson. Everything was very comfortable and well maintained.
Not fancy but very pleasant. the bathroom is not terribly private which is a bit weird but its completely acceptable
