She turns 130 years old this year. Sitting high on the docks, this three story Steam Schooner has 360 views, including breath taking views of the San Francisco Bay. The three fireplaces creates a cozy atmosphere no matter what the weather outside. The Wheelhouse, which is now the dining room, allows views of the San Francisco skyline as well as the lovely Mt Tamalpias. Go from the dining room to the top deck where you can sit in the 'cock-pit' and watch the sun come up, the dining table for lunch and the reclining chairs for sunsets.

About Connie Ruben
We live on the Maggie 6 months a year and the other six months in Canada. this is not just a vacation rental, it is our home and we enjoy having guests stay on the Maggie
Connie Ruben purchased this House Boat in 2000
Why Connie Ruben chose Marin County
Living on the water is a unique experience but staying on the Maggie tops even that. Because of her size and the way she sits along the dock, you may see her that she is floating as you look at the horizon but it is a rare experience to actually feel her more. She is strong and stable. .
What makes this House Boat unique
Besides the Maggie herself, the houseboat community is a safe and welcoming place to be. Our neighbors are of the best in the world. The Maggie is within walking distance to great restaurants and grocery stores. Mt Tam is the home of the mountain bike and there are paths up and around her. San Francisco is within eye sight and only a 15 minute drive away. You will have all you need with this centrally located home

The Maggie surrounded us with love and warmth along with tons of history. She is amazing! I will be back.
Sausalito is the first town North of the Golden Gate Bridge as you leave San Francisco. It sits on the San Francisco Bay and has breathtaking views of the SF skyline, alcatraz and the entire boating world of the Bay. Driving into San Francisco will take you about 20 minutes or you can take the Ferry across. A special way of getting into the City is by bycicle as cycling across the Bridge is an experience all to itself.
Sausalito is only 30 minutes from the lovely Napa Valley where wine tasting and spectacure scenery awaits you.
