We want you to enjoy stay at wonderful Cherry House Resort!
The project of opening a vacation rental property began in the summer of 2009 and completed it in 2010. There are 2 townhomes. Each has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. They each have their own privacy. The neighborhood is very cozy. During the summer months we feel the breezes of Lake Michigan. And, can hear the wave action.
And with 2 properties adjacent to one another we are able to offer vacations to larger families. Whereby vacationers would have 6 bedrooms, 4 full baths, 2 kitchens, 2 laundry rooms ............. - everything double.
We are confident you will enjoy your stay. And look forward to being your host!!
Carl Fiorenzo purchased this townhome in 2000
I live near by and personally know how beautiful it is all year round in West Michigan. Whenever I am at Cherry House's I become more attached to the neighborhood and surroundings. On Sunday morings I have heard the church bells from the small church around the corner. The back yard fire-pit's are wonderful in the evenings. Walks to Pere Marquette Beach are fun and it's always a pleasure to walk the pier.
Lakeside is a great place for shopping with candy store, art stores, book stores, Ghezzi's market, a couple small bars and hot dog restaurant.
You are sure to enjoy this stay.
This neighborhood is so entirely unique. Buster Keaton and his entourage summered here. There is history in the entire neighborhood.
Each fall we have 'Buster Keaton Festival' with guides to inform you of all the Bluffton Neighborhood history. A Buster Keaton film festival. I personally know of people from California who travel here each year to enjoy the Buster Keaton Festival.
Aside from the BK Festival there is plenty of activity in and around the Muskegon Area. Please check Muskegon County Visitor's Bureau for a list of festivals, activities, restaurants, theaters, shopping, grocery stores ...........
The breeze, the waves, the lakes - Its all very, very lovely.
We had a great time staying in your house for our "Family Week". Having the Two houses connected was so convenient. All of us could be together!!! The house is comfortable, has everything we could need and is in such a quiet neighborhood.
We would definitely like to come back again.
We have been coming to Linda's place for about 4-5 years now, and we absolutely love it. While the house is old, it has it's own big charm, and Linda equipped it with so many things that visitors instantly feel welcomed and at home. Walking distance to lakes Michigan and Muskegon are a big plus. We will be back!
The property was the perfect for some of our wedding guests to stay! They enjoyed staying! The house is beautifully put together! Check in and check out was beyond easy! Our friends plan on renting the entire house next year!
We had a great time here. A short walk to both lakes. Each one provides its own form of fun and relaxation. We biked almost everywhere for the week. Just the right amount of quiet yet things to do for the whole family. We'll be back!
This duplex was comfortable and we found the owner very accommodating and nice. We loved the location, enjoying the sailing club nearby and the walk to the beach.
Our extended family loves this duplex. We have stayed before. We rent both sides for 12 family members and have other family visit during our week long stay. Backyard (s) are great for get-togethers. Houses are ample for large family. Houses are older with unconventional 2nd bathroom in the basement. But we love the quaint old fashioned flare. Beware, there is no restroom on main floor, must go up or down steep old fashioned stairs to access. Dishes are breakable; we use paper plates. Pots & pans have been updated. We'll definitely return!
This is our 4th year coming to the Cherry House. We stayed at both places and equally liked them both. We certainly plan on coming back again! We have a big family and cook all the time. What I love the most about this place is that is has virtually everything one needs for cooking and beyond. Seriously, they have the best pans! The backyard and fire pit are lovely. The neighborhood feels like home now. And the lakes, well, you'd have to come and check out these beauties yourself! Also, Michigan Adventure amusement park is very close, and we make sure to visit it once or twice every year.
Bluffton Area (titled: Actor's Colony-since Chicago artists populated the area during the 20's and 30's) - a small peninsula nestled between Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake.
Wonderful beaches, boating, hiking trails, shopping - walking distance (3 blocks) to Pere Marquette Park. Public access (1-block) to Muskegon Lake at either end of Cherry Street where you can relax and watch evening sunsets. There is also a public boat launch on Muskegon Lake approximately 1/4 mile from Cherry Resort.
