We enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. It is so quiet and peaceful here. The cabin was especially nice, very clean and comfortable. The views from living room were brilliant. The canoeing on the clean lake was just wonderful. Thanks for nice stay. W. Schmidt, Germany *****
I was looking for a quiet tranquil place for my family of 4 to get away from it all. It was everything it said it would be and more. The property was stunning with the surrounding forest, well maintained and very private. The lake access was a convenient short walk away.
We canoed to the other side to fish near the public beach.
The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had all the everything we could ask for. ( Bring your own towels).
We did several day hikes including the waterfall, Joffrey lakes, Birkenhead lake park and made the drive to Pemberton to enjoy the Blackbird bakery and the Upick farm.
My kids 10 and 11 loved it and definitely want to go back next year. We will cherish these memories for years to come. Thank you.
A great place to set up home. We are a New Zealand family that stayed with a 4 month old and a 22 month old. We all loved the lake nearby and made use of the pedal boat, row boat and board (life jackets provided). Our 22 month old was most impressed by the trains, and we had plenty of warning it was coming and felt safe although it is nearby and not gated or fenced off. No trains during the night time while we were there. Cabin was cool during the day and cosy at night and the little ones slept great. Amazing place to stargaze and catch a shooting star. Kitchen had everything you would need for cooking and good BBQ too. Pity we missed the rodeo up the road, but we were busy anyway, maybe next time. All up a great place to stay.
This cabin is wonderful. A timeless capsule that takes you back to how a cabin should be - but with all of your modern needs! (Ie wifi, Apple TV ect) gorgeous views and Great Lake access! We will be visiting again.
The most beautiful place on earth. The cabin is very large and beyond comfortable. It's magical....you won't regret coming here.
This cabin is spectacular and it made our trip incredible. The cabin is so surreal and beautiful. It is extremely cozy, warm, and we felt right at home. The frozen lake is picturesque. We had cleared the snow a few times and had all of Friday to play hockey underneath a blue sky. There's nothing better than spending an evening watching a fire burn and warm the cabin. It is very accessible and was easy to find. I would definitely recommend staying here, as I know I will be doing so again.
My family rented this cabin in winter and just couldn't believe how absolutely gorgeous the property was. A perfect lake surrounded by snowcapped mountains to go on wintery walks through. The cabin is super cozy with all you need to build fires, cook and have some serious quality time with loved ones. We will be back for sure!
