I can't express how truly beautiful the setting was at Oyster Bay Manor. The home was incredible and the grounds and views were breathtaking. It's everything and more that the website portrays it to be. The owners met us at the house upon our arrival and gave us the complete tour of the home and the grounds. They were wonderful by the way, very kind and helpful. The house was immaculate and we were afforded every accommodation. I would recommend this home to everyone. Whether there's only two of you or an entire family, everyone will enjoy this house.
We could not have chosen a better home!
The home was everything we expected! The property was beautiful and this was the perfect time to visit. The Wisteria was in bloom along with several other beautiful plants. Great view of the Bay.
The ferry was so easy to use and we used it a few times to explore Seattle. We stumbled on the Viking festival in Poulsbo and had a great time in that little town! Other places we enjoyed were:
The Horse and Cow Bar and Gril
The Boat Shed
just to name a few!❤👌🦅🐚🌲
Charming peaceful home in a great location
We had a great stay. The only real downsides are few. It's on a busy street and the driveway is narrow and a bit overgrown which makes it hard to find. Once you find it, the house is a wonderful place to stay. The location is great, convenient to the highway and the city center. And even though it is on a busy street, noise really wasn't an issue. I think in part because the house sits below the road. And second because the house is so old and well built, you just don't hear the road when you are inside.
This is an old house, 1937 I think. And it retains all of the charm of an old house. It is in remarkable shape for a house of this age. The kitchen has been redone, but the bathrooms are old but in really good shape. It's very charming. Just don't expect everything to be up to date. The heat is by radiators. They make a little bit of noise but the house is remarkably comfortable.
And the view is fantastic. It sits right on a little bay and the view is wonderful. Particularly from the living room and the kitchen.
We had plenty of space. The house is nice and quiet and it was a really nice place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. We highly recommend it.
We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful brick home. The location was very convenient, only a couple of miles from the Bremerton ferry terminal, so we were able to visit Seattle by taking the ferry over to the city, without having to drive in heavy traffic or pay for parking downtown. Everything was neat and clean in the house. We enjoyed using the fireplace and loved the view of Oyster Bay from the living room window. The house was located in a very private natural wooded setting, which we loved.
Great communication, house was beautiful! pictures do not do it justice!! We stayed for 12 nights comfortably!
Thank you Rod and Tammy!
