Relax in a nature oasis nestled into the side of a mountain and surrounded by ancient oak trees. Stunning views from dual decks overlook Topanga's magical canyon. Enjoy a chef's kitchen, relax by the fire and listen to records or create your own music on a piano. The game room features a deluxe pool table, ping pong and a dart board. Enjoy a cabin-like vibe with an abundance of natural light and mid-century modern/southwestern décor. Trees are visible from every window giving the impression you are in a deluxe tree house. There are two master bedrooms, one of which has a panoramic view of Topanga Canyon.

Guests have full access to the main home and exclusive access to the accompanying large balcony and deck overlooking the canyon. Parking is limited to three driveway spaces and there is no nearby street parking.

On the backside of the house there is an attached guest house with its own entrance and private deck that is off limits. The guest house is occupied by a quiet and respectful permanent tenant. The permanent tenant has their assigned parking, but does not have access to the main house or the deck/exterior areas designated for airbnb use. The shared wall (in the game room) has also been soundproofed.

This is a three story house with open concept kitchen/dining/TV room along with a game room on the main/entry level. There is a master bedroom upstairs and three more bedrooms downstairs.

There are stairs from the parking area to the front of the house and stairs that lead to the deck outside. There are railroad tie stairs to the terraced areas about the property you are also welcome to explore. While the indoor stairs have railings, the outdoor stairs do not (see listing photos). Please consider if traversing stairs will be an issue for your group prior to booking.

Keep in mind this is a remote location and while ride share services will drop off in the canyon it’s usually difficult to take them out. There are alternative options we can share with you upon request.

We take cleanliness seriously and will do our best to have the house in clean and working order. Please note however that this house is in a wilderness setting and you may see creatures of nature about. If you are sensitive about nature you may need to reconsider your stay here.

We do not allow guests not named in the reservation. Unauthorized guests inside the house or on the property will result in a $1000 fee and immediate termination of the stay with no refund. Guest count will be confirmed by outdoor security cameras.

Guests must park in designated parking spaces and leave driveway clear for entry/exit. Maximum 3 parking spots are reserved for guests (see listing photo). The driveway is at the end of a narrow cul de sac making it difficult to turn around for extremely large vehicles or trailers, please plan accordingly. Information for all cars parked on the premises is required (Make/Model/License Plate). Parking area is monitored by video surveillance and unauthorize vehicles will be towed.

The game room is under going some cosmetic remodeling (adding stick wood to wall) but is still fully functional.

We are happy to assist in booking activities to enhance your stay such as a personal yoga instructor, personal chef, in-house massage, wine tasting, horse back riding, surf lessons, local docent.

We are a dog friendly residence and while the property is not fully fenced, we do have a fenced in dog run. If a dog is left unattended at the property they must be crated. Maximum 3 dogs. We only allow dogs, no other animals.
