About Olivier Perrissin-Fabert

I've been living for 10 years in this apartment before moving from here to a larger place for a new boy in the family in 2009.

Olivier Perrissin-Fabert purchased this apartment in 1998

Why Olivier Perrissin-Fabert chose Annecy - Lake Annecy area

Since I love this place I didn't want to sell it when I moved and chose to offer it as a rental place. Sometimes I personnaly come there for a few days, enjoying the view and all commodities.

Wonderful Annecy Apartment

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment for 6 nights in late September - early October 2016. We were welcomed by Virginie, who was prompt, very helpful and thorough in her introduction, and charming. The apartment is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever had, in 10+ years of rentals throughout Europe. The location is phenomenal, with private balconies and unbelievable views. There are no balconies across the canal, so no one observes your balcony (except envious tourists on the bridges!) Views in one direction to the lake and mountains, the other way to the most picturesque of Annecy's bridges. Being able to walk right out into the town, to restaurants, shops, cafes and the amazing local markets was especially nice. The inclusion of the parking is also very helpful; it is a comfortable 15 minute walk away and you do not need to drive into the old town with your car. Olivier was extremely friendly and helpful; he has decorated the apartment with charming antiques and comfortable modern pieces. All is provided for a pleasant stay. Do not be put off by the entrance or the rather dark basement level -- a quick trip up the stairs and you are home in this light-filled space. We hope to return.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is fantastic! I doubt there is a better rental property in Annecy. The view of the Palais de L'Isle is remarkable. I love this apartment so much that I visited twice within about a month and a half (while working in Geneva), and will definitely stay there again the next time I am in the area. The apartment is directly adjacent to the Palais de L'Isle, and is only a few hundred meters from the lake. There is great food, wine, and sweets all around! The apartment is exactly as it appears in the pictures, and is very clean. I did not get a chance to meet Olivier, but his partner Virginie was wonderful. She is very accommodating and understanding (I was not the easiest customer to deal with!), and speaks English well. Don't hesitate to book this apartment, you will not find anywhere better in Annecy!

Terrific Apartment!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and stayed at this apartment for five nights last October and had a wonderful time. The apartment was light, airy, quiet, homey, right on the river and close to everything in this picturesque city. Twice we bought wine at a nearby grocery store and food at the charcuterie just below the place and ate on the balcony overlooking the street, the river and the ancient buildings across the way. Virginie, the young woman who met us at the apartment when we arrived, was gracious and always helpful. One day we asked her to recommend a restaurant and she happily pointed us to a great little place perhaps a five-minute walk, where it seemed a lot of local folks were also dining. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

Amazing location!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed with a friend in this charming apartment for one week and would thoroughly recommend it. If I ever go back to Annecy, and I hope I do, I will be trying to stay in the same place. Overlooks the canal with views of the alps and the lake looking to the left, the old prison across the water and lovely canal scenes to the right. Down below are lovely eateries and markets and shopping is outside the front door. The apartment has everything you need and is clean and decorated beautifully. Whilst it is in the centre of the old town and there is a passing parade of people, it is quiet and relaxing.

I would have to say that Annecy was definitely the highlight of my trip overseas.

Charm and Comfort In the Heart of Annecy

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I recently returned from spending two weeks in France, including a wonderful and memorable week in this terrific apartment. Despite the obvious age of the building that houses it, its interior is modern and well-appointed. The bed was so very comfortable and roomy and the layout of the place was excellent. We were quite relaxed in the seating area and also ate some great meals at the dining area, both swathed in as much light as you would want to let in (and there are awnings on the balconies to roll down, if needed). But, really, you just can't get enough of the spectacular view of the chateau on the hill in front of you and magnificent views of the canal and colourful old buildings that line it. The market days are also a must-do event. I took close to 1,000 photos and videos in that one week in Annecy and around and on the lake. I am a little biased, as I was born in Annecy but moved to Canada when I was a young boy. Kudos to Olivier, the owner, and Virginie, the concierge, for making our stay so comfortable, productive and happy.

Walk in and relax.

  • 5 of 5

From first contact right through the whole process, this apartment stay was great. The apartment is exactly as the photos show, light and sunny and perfectly clean. Both the bed and the sofa are very comfortable, wifi is fast and stable, kitchen is well equipped. The location is indeed terrific, close to everything yet private and very quiet in the evenings. There's plenty of space to just 'be' and enjoy being in Annecy. We found it a very calm and relaxing place to be, definitely recommend it, and hope to return. Thanks Olivier.

Annecy is a charming town in the French Alps. The city is famous for the canals (it is called the Venice of the Alps) and the lake, which is one of the purest in Europe.

You can enjoy either the restaurants, shopping, monuments or the nature all around, which combines the pleasure of the lake and the mountains.

It's a perfect place to visit also Chamonix and Geneva (1 hour from Annecy).

In winter you can reach several lovely ski resorts (La Clusaz, le Grand Bornand..) in less than an hour or every other big resorts of the Alps.
