Maui Kamaole is one of the most spacious complexes situated in the quieter south end of Kihei bordering Wailea, making it a great value and highly sought after location.
We love our condo and we know you will too. We want our guests to be as comfortable as we are, and want to be, while we are spending time on the island of Mau’i.
Our condo is located in one of the front-row buildings of Maui Kamaole that offers the best views and access to the beach. You are able to see the ocean view while you are relaxing on the sofa, at the dining table, or in the kitchen as well as when you are on the lanai enjoying breakfast or one of the spectacular evening sunsets. We have an end unit, so it has more light than some of the other units as well. Our unit is not only nicely decorated, it is the only unit that has an upscale Hotel Line California King-Sized Heavenly(R) Bed (please read our guest comments). Our guests have all the comforts of sleeping in a high-end hotel room, with all the advantages of having more space of a home in our large spacious 1 bedroom, 2 bath condo.

For entertainment there are FLAT-PANEL TVs and DVD players with cable in both the master bedroom and living room. For your convenience, you will also find a small library of DVDs that you can watch so you won’t have to go to the local video store. In addition, there are a number of Hawaiian music CDs for your listening enjoyment. If you enjoy the music, please support the local Hawaiian Artists by purchasing your own CDs at the local shops or online, iTunes. It may be a nice souvenir and reminder of your vacation on the beautiful island of Mau'i! If you prefer, we also have an iPod adapter in the living room as well as an Ipod Alarm Clock in the bedroom so you can listen to your own tunes.
This ground floor unit has two large sliding doors to the ocean view lanai and another one in the bedroom to access the private courtyard and gets great cross ventilation due to the afternoon tradewinds. Both the living room and master bedroom suite are also equipped with ceiling fans, windows that open for fresh air (good for evening breezes), and air conditioners for your comfort.
The kitchen is fully-equipped with the necessary items to prepare and serve meals including, but not limited to, coffee maker, blender, toaster, electric tea kettle and rice cooker. There is also a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and digital safe for your convenience. In addition, there are also beach towels, a cooler, umbrellas and beach chairs to use during your stay.
This unit is located near the lower pool and allows quick access to the pathway to Kamaole Beach III, and via a nice stroll past the boat ramp, Keawakapu Beach.
Maui Kamaole's 23 acre condominium property is a low-rise and low-density complex with extensive lawns and lush tropical landscaping. The complex has two swimming pools with two Jacuzzis. The lower pool tends to be more reflective and quiet. Whereas, the upper pool has a waterfall and sand bottom Jacuzzi. Both areas have BBQs/outdoor kitchen areas. You will also find BBQs conveniently located near each of the buildings. There are also two tennis courts as well on the complex.

What makes this Condo unique
Whale-watching from the condo and watching the sunset. We also love the location of our condo because it has easy access to the beach and snorkeling which are activities we love. In addition, this part of Kihei is serene, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the Kihei strip, but it's a short distance away when you want to be a part of it. Also, there is a wonderful trail to Keawakapu Beach and if you walk, or jog, along the beach you will end up on the beachfront walk along Wailea which is really beautiful. The location is also close to getting on the Pi'ilani Highway and off to Lahaina or Haleakala or Hana quickly when you want to venture out to other beautiful areas of the island.

Great location and view
I’ve been coming to Maui for 40 years and have stayed at Maui Kameole many times. This is a great unit and great price- everything you need is here. I’d definitely stay here again- 5 stars!

Wonderful place to stay in Maui. Excellent condo. The place was perfect.
The condo was very well organized. Besides it being spotless, it had all the amenities. The kitchen was well equipped with everything one would need. Also, the place had snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, beach towels, in other words, we were impressed with the facilities.
We would recommend VRBO and this condo to all our friends. We would appreciate getting back our damage deposit of $300 US . That would make it perfect.

A wonderful stay in Kihei
Our stay in this condo was wonderful. We had previously done the touristy time in Lahaina and wanted to be close to great restaurants without the traffic on the coast.
The owner of the condo was very responsive and wanted to be sure that everything in the condo was perfect. It was clean, well maintained and had everything in it we needed. It is in a quiet location with an ocean view. The grounds in the development were beautiful. The VRBO description of this condo is accurate and for a couple wanting to escape winter on the mainland, it is a perfect home for a stay on beautiful Maui.
Wonderful condo. Great location. Well equipped
This was our first visit to Maui and we were very happy with this condo. Leahi was wonderful to deal with and responded very quickly to any questions and provided lots of helpful information. The condo is very spacious and had all the comforts of home. The kitchen had all the dishes and pots and pans and equipment needed to make meals at home and the location was walking distance to some nice restaurants. We enjoyed Sargentos and Five Palms. Breakfasts on the lanai were very relaxing and sunset views from there were lovely.
Beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel equipment and big cooler bag provided were great for trips to the beach. Loved our morning walks along all the Kihei beaches. We were glad we booked in Kihei rather than up the Kaanapali coast because it was centrally located and easier to get around the island rather than dealing with heavy traffic on Kaanapali coast. Highlights were watching pro golf tournament in Kapalua, visiting Haleakalā Crater (breakfast at Kula Lodge enroute was wonderful), driving the Road to Hana, Upcountry town of Makawao, shops and restaurants in Paia, watching surfers and kite surfers and turtles at Hookipa Beach. The Maui Kamaole complex was a comfortable place to return to at the end of the day for a swim or to cook something on the bbq which was conveniently located. The grounds of this complex are beautifully maintained, quiet and peaceful.
We would highly recommend this condo and would love to return for another stay.
We stayed at Maui Kamaole. This condo has all the necessities you need for a great vacation. Although we did not make use of all the snorkel, water equipment, beach chairs, binoculars etc. available in the unit, it certainly is a bonus. The bedroom is spacious, plenty of storage. The condo is tastefully decorated. it is convenient to the pool, to Kamaole III beach which is a great place for snorkeling and for sighting sea turtles in the surf line near the rocks. It is convenient to the best snorkeling spots on the Island. Communication with owner is great. Owner is very responsive to any issue you might encounter. The only thing I would change in the condo would be to replace shower curtain with glass doors in master bath. We had no need to use the second shower, but also a convenient feature. The complex has gas grills, however they seemed to take a very long time to reach temperature but also convenient. Lots of restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook in. It was restaurant week in Wailea, we had an outstanding meal at Gannon's. Many shopping opportunities, Shops at Wailea are convenient as well as several supermarkets. The swap meet on Saturday mornings is a fun outing with many local vendors. There is lots to do, and a great place to visit from a great location. We opted for a day excursion to Molokai through Adventure Maui at $339 per person. A short commuter flight to Molokai, met by a tour van with an exceptional tour guide. A native of Molokai, he was so knowledgeable on history and all aspects of the island. Also included was lunch at Paddler's Inn. Great choice of restaurants, great service. Macademia nut farm was interesting, as well as the working coffee plantation. This whole day tour did not include the rain forest leaving something to look forward on future vacations. a hiki i kekahi mañana! (Until next time).
