This holiday home is a very special holiday home and unique in its kind. The harmony of the house is entirely consistent with the surrounding nature and exudes the tranquility so often sought in vain on vacation. High quality equipment, combined with discreet privacy, guarantee to make the right decision.

The CASA CARPE DIEM holiday house is a solid wood house nestled in a 500 m² garden with lawns, various native plants, shrubs and a small fishpond. The exposed beams and the large light work comfortably in all rooms. Furniture and bedding are all solid and enhance the well-being. All rooms have underfloor heating. On the ground floor the living rooms are laid out with parquet, in the upper floor velor carpets. Internet access via a WIFI router. In order to enjoy the rooms of the house with enough space, you should not travel with more than 4 people. Selected decorations in the house conjure up a cozy atmosphere.

If you arrive are the beds, towels laid out. In cold weather is preheated, hot water always available. Final cleaning is included in the rent.

Room and facilities

In the separated entrance area is a clothes and shoe cabinet. In the hallway is a large dresser with mirror. The bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed (1.80m wide) and a wardrobe. A ventilated wooden structure made of pine wood ensures a pleasant sleeping and indoor climate.

Living room and kitchen as well as dining area are integrated in a continuous space. Various light sources, especially the large salt lamps, give the room a special light atmosphere. The raised ceilings enhance the spacious feeling of space, the large windows are oriented to the south and west. Two additional skylights provide a light-filled space. The kitchen area in U-shape is modern furnished. All necessary technical equipment such as ceramic hob, stove, microwave, refrigerator, sink, coffee machine and dishes and cooking utensils are available. The large flat screen has satellite connection. The large hydroponic plants provide a pleasant indoor climate and flair.

The upper floor is reached by a wide wooden staircase. On the left upstairs is a guest room, equipped with a double bed (1,40m width), seating and secretary. For balcony accessed via the large windows, which is oriented to the south. Here you have a wonderful view to the mountains. The small flat screen has satellite connection.

A second guest rooms on the first floor is accessible from the right of the stairs. Here are two single beds, seating and table. A wardrobe and various cabinets and shelves offer plenty of storage for personal items.

The bathroom on the first floor, centrally aligned between the two guest rooms, offers a huge brightly lit mirror, a generous washbasin, several storage cabinets, deep soaking tub and toilet. The opening roof window lets in plenty of natural light.

In the basement, there are two cross trainers in the hall, if you want to do some sports. Both devices have enough programs to keep fit. An Internet radio provides your desired sound. In the basement room the sauna forms the center. In addition, there are still the washing machine, dryer, sink and various technical installation facilities.

The garden with a large terrace offers a variety of comfortable seating to relax in the fresh air. A pond adjacent to the terrace and the water feature as well as the colorful flowers and plants invite you to sit comfortably. In the evenings, different illuminations automatically switch on in the garden. Enjoy the fresh clear air and the peace here.

Excellent Holiday Home

This is an excellent holiday rental, and probably the best equipped we have ever stayed in. The house is spacious, well maintained and very comfortable; and the owners have attended to every detail. They were also consistently helpful both during the booking process and during our stay. We may have been one of the few English speaking families to stay here, but in the hope that others will follow it would be really useful to have the home's detailed information booklet translated into English. We did our best with our somewhat limited German and the help of Google translate.

The house is very conveniently located near to the alpine towns of Ruhpolding and Inzell and is also close to the beautiful Chiemsee with its may water-based activities. The local village of Siegsdorf and larger town of Traunstein provide good shopping facilities. The beautiful Austrian city of Salzburg is about a half hour drive away, and we enjoyed a day there as well as a visit to the Salzburg lakeland. We also love the thermal swimming pools in the towns of Berchtesgaden and Bad Reichenhall, which were a great place to go on a day when the weather wasn't so good. There are many cable car rides into the alps from towns nearby and these are well worthwhile for some awesome scenery.

This was a great base for our two week holiday and we would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great Bavarian holiday.

Jederzeit wieder!

Das Haus entsprach voll der Beschreibung. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Durch die Holz+ Glasbauweise sehr hell und freundlich.

Wir waren 2 Personen und hatten viel Platz.

Es fehlte an nichts.

Wir können das Objekt problemlos weiterempfehlen und werden das auch in unserem Bekanntenkreis tun.

Einfach nur Perfekt

Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Das Wetter war super und wir konnten die schöne Terrasse und den wunderschönen Garten genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
