Enjoy a spectacular direct gulf view from this privately owned 8th floor 1 bedroom luxury condo.
Lighthouse Towers is a direct beach front building on the Gulf of Mexico on Sand Key in Clearwater Beach, FL, with soft white sand beaches and no crowds. Lighthouse Towers offers a gulf front heated pool with ocean view, spa, a wet bar with BBQ-grill, tennis court, shuffle-board, reserved parking and 24 hour security. The pool is sunny all day, since it is situated beside the building rather than behind it. Lighthouse Towers was recently renovated with new paint, walkways, balcony restoration, hallway carpets, new asphalt in parking lot, and is meticulously maintained and landscaped.
Lighthouse Towers is steps away from Sheraton Sand Key Resort and Sand Key Park.
The condo has amazing ocean views from floor to ceiling windows that look out to the wide white sandy beach and sparking blue water of the Gulf of Mexico. Our condo has 1 bedroom and 2 full baths, walk-in closet, living room, dining area, kitchen, and terrace off of living room and master bedroom. Master bedroom has king size bed with brand new linens. Living room has sofa and comfy recliner. It includes everything you will need for your stay, including new towels, fully-equipped kitchen, 2 TVs with cable, DVD, VCR, and washer/dryer. Broadband internet and free nationwide calling now included! Most impressive is the view of the ocean from every room!
Relax and enjoy!
My husband and I live with our 2 young sons in Stow, MA, and enjoy our family vacations to Florida once or twice a year. We always visit in the summer (it is very hot in FL, but we don't mind it since we can swim in the gulf waters and in the condo pool), and sometimes in April. October is our favorite time to be in FL, the weather is so perfect, but usually that doesn't work out due to school schedules.
Sue purchased this condo in 2008
We had always dreamed of owning property on the ocean. When we took a family vacation and drove through the Sand Key area (we were driving around to let our babies nap in the back seat!), we fell in love with the condos that were surrounded by water, and decided to purchase this 1 bedroom condo in 2008.
When it's time to just relax in the condo, the view is stunning. I have never stayed in another location with such a lovely view.
Our stay was marvelous!!! Both my husband and I felt like we actually lived there all the time. I told my husband that this Florida trip was the best we've had so far and we've had 10 or 15.
We were really impressed with how clean the unit was.
Thanks again for letting us share your "little bit of heaven."
everything was great in the flat except outside table and chairs on the terrace
Sue was extremely easy to work with and response time was very quick. Clearwater Beach is very "spring breaky", while Sand Key is 2 miles south across the bridge and very relaxing. This put us close enough to ride our bikes around Clearwater if we wanted to, but we didn't have to deal with all the crowds all the time.
The pool/grill area was great and very well kept, and the PRIVATE beach was exceptional. Every unit in the building faces the ocean, so the views are spectacular. The property is gated with security guards on duty 24/7, and they even walk the ground. I felt so comfortable I would just leave our mountain bikes in the bed of my truck not even locked up. There is a convenience store and deli directly across the street, which we didn't think would matter a ton, but it turned out to be EXTREMELY CONVENIENT! I forgot a few things and throughout the week needed some other things and I just walked across the street.
Did I mention the private beach you can just walk out to?? Most places in Clearwater have "close beach access" where you are within walking distance to a public beach, but you may have to walk a block or 2 or go across streets or deal with RIDICULOUS crowds. Here you can walk out of the building and be on the beach within a minute! May take you a couple minutes to walk all the way to the water because the beach is huge. Its great not having to deal with parking, and then lugging all your beach stuff down, etc etc. Just stumble down there and if you forget something or need to use the restroom, you can just go right back up to your room. Courtesy shower on the wooden walkway leading down there as well as the pool area if you wanna lounge at the pool after the beach. Pool and hot tub are lighted, so it made for a great night time lounging at the pool. We didn't go to any other beaches the entire time we were there. Saw tons of dolphins, and even a manatee came right up to the beach. Grills were great, as we grilled some fresh fish that we caught after a great day of fishing, and everything I needed to cook my own fish I got at the convenience store.
Would definitely stay here again.
The unit itself is situated perfectly......wonderful views of the Gulf and the sunsets are spectacular. Decided that rather eating out a lot, it was delightful sitting on our shaded balcony and eating our meals there. The sound of the waves crashing onto shore was a nice thing to hear every night as you're falling asleep.
The direct access to the beach is great and if you're a crafter, there are tons of shells. The pool was a fun gathering place with the water temperature "just right".
Would come back to this unit in a heartbeat !!
The only negatives are that it could use a little "overhaul".........i.e. the ensuite bathroom hand towel rack kept falling apart, sliding doors on the bedroom and living room that access the balcony need the runners cleaned out so that they can slide better and an electric kettle (instead of the slow stove tope model) would have been nice. That said, these are small things and certainly not a deal breaker.
We vacationed in this condo for the month of March and found our area to be quiet and serene. Sue, the owner, addressed any concerns we had in a timely and efficient manner. We would definitely stay there again.
My husband and I were looking for a place to stay for our two week vacation in Clearwater, Florida. We wanted something affordable and something that was close to restaurants, entertainment and of course the beach. Well, we searched high and low with numerous hotels, different travel sites and just found a few amenities and checked some boxes but we just weren't satisfied. Then we came upon Sue's condo, we not only got EVERYTHING we wanted but received first class treatment the entire stay. Her condo is beautiful and right on the beach. My husband is an early bird and would walk steps to the beach each morning to just sit and relax. I woke to the sound of the ocean and the beautiful views of the beach each morning. Each person that we encountered in the building were more than accommodating and extremely pleasant. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best we ever had. Sue was not there but I had no problems reaching her whenever I needed something. Her response was quick and satisfying. This condo is away from all the excitement of the public beach but close enough if your into night life living. We spent many nights at the Jacuzzi after having a romantic walk on the beach. The pool was a favorite of my teenage daughter and she thoroughly enjoyed having the beach to her self with just about a dozen of other people to join her (very rare these days when you visit the beach for vacation). We were able to enjoy good family time without all the extra people to crowd our space. We will definitely return to Sue's condo for regular vacations. We recommend staying at least two weeks even if its just to sit and relax!
What a gem! We couldn’t ask for a better vacation on a quiet stretch of Sand Key located just south of the hustle and bustle of Clearwater Beach. What a joy to wake up to such beautiful views of the Gulf and beach from the living room and bedroom. The Intercoastal Waterway is just across the highway out back. This condo is perfect for couples who enjoy morning or evening walks and quiet uncrowded days while relaxing on the beach. Having access and use of beach chairs, umbrellas, and barbecues was a big plus. We also enjoyed the great selection of area restaurants, an evening out to catch a baseball game, and a day long visit to Epcot's International Flower and Garden show. The condo was exactly as advertised, clean and well equipped. The grounds around the building were well landscaped, spotless, and very secure. Sue was helpful with any questions and prompt with all communication. We had a great two weeks and hope to make a return trip!
