Kihei Akahi is a remodeled studio with a private, tropical view of palms and flowers. This comfortable vacation rental has a queen-size wall bed that easily folds up to save space, full kitchen with a new stove, refrigerator, Italian tile floor, ceiling fan, 25 inch TV, DC, phone, along with a washer and dryer within the unit for convenience. Enjoy the quiet and privacy of the outdoor patio (lanai) at this Hawaiian garden condo. Nice pool and tennis courts are available on this vacation rental property.

Kihei Akahi is located one mile north of the magnificent Wailea resorts and golf courses. Across the road from these condos is beautiful Kamaole Beach Park II in South Kihei, one of the most picturesque, fine white sand beaches in Maui, which also has excellent snorkeling.

The great location is close to two additional gorgeous sandy beaches, many shops, restaurants, a great health food store, and a full mailing/copy center with internet access. Since these vacation rentals are easy walking distance to shops and many restaurants, you could save the expense of a rental car.

About Michael Gach

We live less than a mile from our Kihei Kai Nani condo and Kihei Akahi studio -- so we can personally keep it in excellent condition. We love Maui and our condos enable us to share the Aloha spirit with others. We especially LOVE the ocean. Ever since we first met and swam in synch with each other, we knew a place like Maui was meant for us. As a family, we share these gorgeous beaches with our 7 year old and enjoy every time.

We find it fulfilling to share special places, beaches, and the best places to eat with our guests -- since we know the area like the palm of our hand. Kihei beaches are the best, and have fabulous weather. There is no where else on earth we'd rather be. We hope you'll enjoy all that Hawaii on your next vacation.

We chose to buy this special vacation rental because of its air flow, and privacy. Plus this condo is so close to three gorgeous beaches and a great variety of restaurants.

You can easily save hundreds of dollars by not renting a car, since our condo is in such a fabulous location. We'll let you know how to get picked up at the airport and be driven to the door -- its ideal.

I asked a condo management company that I trusted what vacation rental property was most popular and was rated highest by most guests. I feel fortunate to be guided to have a unit at Kihei Akahi, especially being in the private location of our studio. Over 90% of the units face over other condos, parking lots, or roof tops - however our unit is completely private. If you choose our private studio your be with the palms, birds, and tropical flowers.

What makes this studio unique

Unique private, secluded, comfortable, upgraded studio with wifi. Two nice pools, BBQs, 3-minute walk to a gorgeous beach, plus Hope (Marie) who will make sure that everything is right, so you can enjoy our comfortable condo.

Great Vacation Getaway - nothing left wanting and close to everything!

Excellent Vacation Getaway for 2 guests. The unit included everything we needed for our 2 1/2 week stay. The kitchen is well stocked and the knives were sharp and usable. The Host (Hope) was just great and when we needed help she was there to please. The whole experience was very positive and I am sure we will be back sometime in the future. The location was perfect for our needs and we had a few friends staying close by. South Kihei is a great location and offers something for everyone and so close to great beaches. Having Fred's, Moose Mcgillicutty's and 808 Bistro so close by is a real plus.

Owner's Response: We love to hear how our guests appreciated our condo, its location, our host support, its fully equiped kitchen and how our private Maui studio served as a great vacation getaway. There's two gorgeous pools and a tennis court on the property. When you are on our patio lanai you will not see anyone, and no-one can see you. Given the convenient location close to 3 great restaurants and 3 beautiful sandy beaches, its fabulous to have a secluded vacation studio.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you loved our private studio, which faces away for everything, so you can't see anyone -- just the natural beauty of the land, palms, flowers and tropical birds. Since it's a studio, it's small but has so much natural lights from all the windows and the sun never shines harshly on them, which keeps the unit cool. As you can see with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and wifi all within the unit and the special attention we provide -- its a very special place to stay.

Very cozy studio

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay in the studio. The studio was very clean and had all the necessities. A few minutes walk to the beach. The balcony surrounded by trees is absolutely lovely, we spent a lot of evenings there. The location of the studio is great and in the middle of all the action and a short drive to many other beautiful beaches. I would stay there again when we come back next time.

Perfectly located and big enough.

Our stay was just as advertised. We were not disappointed. Being there isn't an ocean, view, this view is the next best thing.... you feel like you are in the tropics, as you pretty much see nothing but palms and vegetation out the balcony. Native birds make you feel like you're in the middle of the jungle. They do get up a little earlier than you might like. No AC - No problem. Opening windows and turning on the fans kept it plenty cool. You have everything you need in this unit. All kitchen stuff, TV, DVD, WiFi. The pool area and grill are in good shape and nicely located. (2 different options)

This place is centrally located (IMHO) for getting out and doing things on the Island. You are pretty much 45 min from almost anything (Paia, Waihee Trail, Ocean Distillery, Kanaapali, Lahaina, etc..) We really enjoy getting out and doing things and this was perfect as a 'home base' to basically sleep and eat breakfast.

The days we just sat on the beach, we grabbed the provided chairs, umbrella, and cooler and walked down to Kamole II beach. Very nice and clean.

Great having washer and dryer in the unit. Note: Standard setting on the dryer works, but permanent press does not dry. The unit was all around very clean, but the bathtub/shower unit could use updating.

As everyone says, Hope was great. Chocolates in the fridge upon arrival and treats hanging on the door on another day. She called to be sure we had everything we needed and even helped us find a local doctor when we needed to see one.

I think it's a perfect unit for 2 people and could work for a family with 1-2 children (I believe the couch was a pullout bed). Thanks again.

Great little suite for 2

Location of the suite back away from traffic noise, parking lot, even the daily groundskeeping work was great. Looking out on undeveloped land and the palm trees right next to the patio made it even better. The fans kept the room comfortable even on the many unusually calm January days we had. Hope Marie came as advertised: a very friendly, gracious hostess. The room had everything required for the beach (good quality too). Been to Kihei 7 times in bigger, newer rooms in both Akahi and the Banyon condos. This little room was our favourite.

The beach across from the vacation complex, with its warm golden fine sand, is so beautiful that you almost feel like you are in Hawaii. ;) We are glad that this is your favorite condo out of the six other condos you tried. It's partly due to Hope's efforts and the pride, attention and care we take -- since we live nearby and like to give the unit attention to the many details that are needed. It's perfect for just one or two people on a special vacation to Maui.

Most beautiful beaches in the world, ocean coastline, swimming, finest golfing, scenic day trips like to the rain forest, snorkeling trips, upcountry land, fabulous wind surfing, and gorgeous sunsets on the beach.
