I just love coming to our house at 4728 E Bluff Drive and chase after birds and squirrels (especially birds). I go on the docks and jump in the water and doggie paddle my way back to the beach. I take long walks all around my street and say hi to anyone also walking. I'm going to tell my owners to live up here all the time. It's the best!!

OUR LOVE OF THE REGION - EARTH, MOUNTAIN AND SKY AND THE SERENITY OF THE AREA PROMPTED US TO PURCHASE THIS PROPERTY. WE HAVE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS BY HAVING THE HOUSE ON ONE SIDE OF THE ACCESS ROAD AND THE DOCK(s) AND BEACH ON THE OTHER SIDE, GIVING US TOTAL PRIVACY.
THE BENEFITS INCLUDE: THE MOON OVER THE LAKE AND AT TIMES FIREWORKS MIRRORED ON THE LAKE ARE INCREDIBLE. IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO GET INTO A GOOD BOOK, STUDY..... YOU CAN ROW ALL AROUND THE LAKE AND STOP IN AT VARIOUS RESTAURANTS AT ITS EDGE. BEST OF ALL, IT'S AN ESCAPE FROM THE EVERY DAY.

My family and I came up for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The views of the lake and the stars at night on the back deck were amazing. Property was as stated and comfortably fit our entire party of 8. Penn Yan town center was a short drive away and offered plenty of restaurants and bars to eat at. Wineries on Keuka and Seneca Lakes are short drives away. If we return to the region for a future vacation, we'd definitely come back to Beyond The Sea. Thanks for the great stay!
My husband and I, along with our son, his wife and 3 daughters rented the house this past week ( Aug 6-13). Since it was so hot all week, we were in the perfect place with a private swimming spot right across the street! We made use of rented double kayaks and some floating tubes to stay cool. The grill came in handy for some dinners on the deck and we went into Penn Yan on the nights we didn't cook. The ice cream at Seneca Farms was wonderful!
We found the house to be comfortable and used every corner of it at one time or another. Marlene was helpful through the reservation process and answered all our questions quickly. This house on Keuka Lake is a great spot for a family vacation. Our 3 year old granddaughter was in tears when she realized she had to go home this morning and I could sympathize with her for sure!
Set back from the road, the location of the house was quiet and peaceful, and the view of the lake was lovely, especially when the moon was full. We would give this house 4 stars if we had eaten every dinner out. We hosted a wedding rehearsal and dinner for our son on the Friday and the deck was wonderful, but the kitchen caused our other son (the cook) some difficulties, due to the lack of workspace. Thank heavens for the exhaust fan in the ceiling, but it was still pretty uncomfortable. Even for regular family meals, the kitchen was a challenge.
A couple of things I would like to mention. The shrubs on the lake side of the deck need to be trimmed back--they block some of the view of the lake. The fold-out sofa mattresses are in need of replacement. It would have been nice to have a liquid measuring cup in the kitchen. The notebook of information about the house did not address what to do with the garbage and recycling. We have rented vacation houses in the Outer Banks for years and they always include information about trash pickup.
We enjoyed our stay at Beyond the Sea on Keuka Lake. The proximity to Penn Yan with its shops was a plus. The thrift store, the museum, and the Outlet Trail were great. Watkins Glen State Park is within easy reach. Our sons and their ladies enjoyed touring a few wineries and breweries.
We spent 2 glorious weeks at Beyond the Sea and had a great time! The house was well maintained and very clean -- and had everything we needed for our family of 8 -- and our extended family who stopped by for visits. The deck is amazing and big enough for a crowd. We had fun re-learning our foosball skills. We also really liked the kayak and used that a lot. Thanks for a great vacation. We'll be back!
Stayed at Beyond the Sea for my son's wedding. The rooms were great, lots of closet space. The deck out back is spacious and the neighborhood is peaceful. I would highly recommend this house.
I can't tell you how much we enjoy renting the property, Beyond the Sea. I believe this is our fourth year renting and it does keep getting better each year. The house is always very clean and each year there seems to be a few upgrades done that makes it even better. The owners are awesome people to work with and I highly recommend this great home to anyone!
