This home sits on 1 ½ acres. It is conveniently located on the North end of Flathead Lake between the towns of Somers and Lakeside. It is the perfect spot to base from while you explore Bigfork, Whitefish, Kalispell, Columbia Falls and Glacier National Park.
Like to Golf? Golf Digest named the Flathead valley a top 50 golf course destination. There are nine championship golf courses in the area.
The lake frontage is at the bottom of the property and is about 18 feet wide. We recently put in a dock with a boat lift that will hold a boat up to 7500 lbs. Enjoy lounging down at the lake or roast marshmallows in the fire pit. The welcome basket in the home has everything you need for making smore's.
The master bedroom has lake and mountain views, a queen-sized bed and a TV. The other guest room is very large and has a queen sized bed, a full sized bed, a desk. There is a 3/4 bathroom attached to this bedroom. The washer and dryer are also in this bedroom. The living room has a queen sized hide-a-bed couch. The other bathroom is located off of the hallway.
TV’s are located in the living room and in the master bedroom. Both TV's have DVD and VCR players and DISH. There is a DVD/VHS library in the home and a CD player that you are welcome to use. Wi-fi throughout the house.
I have kids so the home is equipped with some young kid toys, books and dvd's.
The upstairs unit is about 1500 square feet. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, and a comfortable living & dining area. There is a year round tenant in a downstairs apartment. She has her own entrance.
2 loaner Mtn. Bikes are at the property just waiting for you to go for a ride.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home. The view of Flathead Lake and surrounding mountain range is priceless. We had lots of fun down at the lake, watching the sailboats in the evening off the deck, sunsets and bald eagles. Very tranquil!
We were pleasantly suprised by all the necessities that were provided to us. Your s'more package was very thoughtful. You certainly went over and above to ensure our stay was great. We all made sure we took some time to use the massage chair. That sure made it easy to be relaxed.
Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality, take care, D,C,A,M,K,S, Red Deer, Alberta, Canada
Cheryl took very good of her home and of us. The home was clean, and stocked with everything we needed for cooking, bathing, laundry, planning activities, R&R time, etc. She provided and pack and play and a high chair at our request, which was a great relief to not have to travel with the extra baby gear. On top of the essentials, the small details like the welcome package including s'more stuff, the toy bin for the kiddo and wood for the fire pit added that bit extra to our memories. She was also very responsive in our correspondences, providing information via text messages and even delivering some extra newspaper for fire starting the same day as my request.
Lovely home, lovely views, lovely host, lovely memories.
Thank you, Cheryl!
My husband I stayed at this house and enjoyed every minute of it. The walk down to the little dock area is a steep but well worth it. At first we were a little apprehensive about having a tenant down below the main living area but really it was no problem. At first we weren't sure if the tenant even existed but then at some point we saw them come home. that was really the only interactions (we stayed 3 nights) The house was clean, spacesous and organized. I hope we can book another stay here some time. Our dogs were well behaved and enjoy the huge yard to run around it. It's not complete in gated in so keep your pet supervised because it is also close to the main road. Overall it was a great stay!!

We loved this place. everything you want or need was suppllied by the owner.the view or the lake and mountians was breathtaking. We would diffently stay here again if we come back this way. we loved loved loved this place.i highly recommend it.the owner is very trustworthy and great to work with.
This is a lovely property and the host has done a great job making sure that guests have everything they need. She really has thought of everything! The highway is directly behind the house but there are double paned windows so if you keep the doors closed it's quiet (I'm a very light sleeper but I had no problems at all). There is a little dock down the slope that's just for the house so when it's sunny that's a fabulous place to lounge in complete privacy.
This was an ideal home for our family! It has a magnificent view! We felt completely 'At Home' in this perfectly clean, well stocked home. All the special touches - life jackets, laundry detergent, s'mores supplies - made it so easy for us to slip into vacation mode. Our family of 5 really enjoyed the paddle boat and lake front. We ate every meal on the deck. Simply gorgeous view! One evening we sat on the patio at Tamarack in Lakeside. We highly recommend that restaurant to anyone visiting. We spent an afternoon in Bigfork, climbed Mt. Aeneas, and enjoyed a day at Glacier National Park. We would LOVE to return next summer!
