Welcome to East End Eden II, our two bedroom, three bath luxury beachfront condominium at the Elysian Beach Resort. The resort is located on beautiful Cowpet Bay on the East End of St. Thomas. Completely remodeled, the condo is located only 30 yards from the pool and 50 yards from the white sand beach. The condo’s three private balconies offer spectacular views of the beach and the crystal clear water beyond. The resort also has a beach shack for water sport rentals, a tennis court, and two restaurants. Sangria's Beachside Bistro offers delicious casual fare. The Caribbean Fish Market has a more upscale menu and is one of the top rated restaurants on island. And pull up a stool to enjoy a drink at the beachside/poolside bar!

Resort Amenities: There are many amenities offered at the Elysian Beach Resort. These include a large free form pool with grotto, waterfall, hot tub and a pool bar. The beach shack rents kayaks, sailboards, sailboats, paddle boats and snorkeling gear. There is a gym and spa onsite (fee). Beach towels are available daily, at no charge and beach chairs are also provided at no charge. There is a tennis court. There are two restaurants on the resort property. Caribbean Fish Market is a fine dining destination and Sangria's Beachside Bistro offers more casual fare. The white sand beach and aqua blue Caribbean are only 50 yards from the condo. There is an area with good snorkeling along the reef just off shore at the resort.

Island Amenities: The Elysian Beach Resort is located on the East End of St. Thomas, just 2 miles from Red Hook, with its shops and restaurants and the ferry to St. John and the British Virgin Islands. There are off-island snorkeling excursions, deep-sea fishing, para sailing and jet ski rentals are available from nearby Sapphire Beach. Charlotte Amalie, the shopping Mecca of the Caribbean, is only 10 miles away and the world famous beauty of Magens Bay is also nearby.

About Sue and Bruce Davis

We live in southeast Pennsylvania. We have always enjoyed the beach. The opportunity to own a place on the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean, that is available 365 days a year, beat the alternative of a place at the New Jersey shore! We bought the place in early 2009 and immediately completely re-did the kitchen and baths, painted everything and replaced all the furniture. We wanted it to be a place we were proud of and one which our guests would enjoy and want to return to.

Why Sue and Bruce Davis chose St. Thomas

A colleague owns a unit at the resort and we vacationed at his place three times between March 2007 and November 2008. Each time we visited we immediately felt the tensions of work etc. leave us and we easily slipped into the 'island mode mon!' We love the peaceful uncrowded beach where we can sit for hours reading a book and sipping pina coladas. The on-site restaurants are outstanding and the proximity to Red Hook with its shops and restaurants is a real plus. The island has a lot to offer whether you want an active or a relaxing vacation. We loved it so much we decided to buy our own place. My colleague lost one of his best repeat guests! In 2010 we decided to purchase a one bedroom/two bath condo at the Elysian and in 2014 we purchased a second one bedroom/two bath unit there.

What makes this condo unique

For the price of a hotel room you can enjoy an entire two bedroom/three bath condo with fully equipped kitchen and in-unit laundry room.

Nice and relaxing vacation

We have stayed on Cowpet Bay several times and this is the nicest condo that we have seen. Elysian is the best resort and this condo has to be among the best in the Elysian. Owners recommendations were spot on for restaurants and beaches. We will definately be back.

Great Family Vacation; Wonderful Condo

Family of 7 stayed at the Condo for the first time and had a wonderful stay. Pictures are accurate but do not capture the beauty of the condo, resort or island. The Condo was very clean with many amenities. Appreciated the appliances and fully furnished kitchen which was great for family meals. The pool and beach areas were very clean, well kept and quiet. The snorkeling equipment was an unexpected surprise and great for checking out the beaches on St Thomas and St John. The guide to the island that the owners provided was helpful and extremely accommodating. Would not hesitate to return and would recommend this condo and Sue and Bruce without hesitation.

A dream vacation.

Wow. Just WOW. This place is fantastic. A beautiful living space. Had everything we needed at any given time, including some left over spirits in the freezer ;) The beds were comfy, the pillows and towels were soft and everything was clean. Sue responded quickly and had a pleasant demeanor, and even had the keys in my mailbox within a few days along with an information packet about the home and the island. There are plenty of business cards for taxis as well as take-out menus. The pool was fantastic and the hot tub was a nice compliment. I think we managed to eat just about everything on the Sangrias menu located on site and the pool bar with Dave is so fun and friendly, what a great Guy.

This was my birthday vacation, but i can clearly see theres no excuse i wouldnt use to come back here again soon. An amazing experience i cant wait to repeat. Maybe next time ill be there on my honeymoon!

Mr. & Mrs. Davis, thank you so much for a memory ill never forget. Couldnt have been more perfect.

Lovely condo

We did a five day stay with out teenage sons over spring break. The condo met all of our needs plus a few extra suprises. We found everything in working order and good condition. We were happy to have left over sunscreen bottles, coolers in the closet for excursions and noticed some beach toys too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to a family that just wanted to chill out and catch some beach time. The pool is nice and several bars on the beach to keep the adults refreshed as well. Although the resteraunt on property is pretty expensive Sangrias bar offers pretty decent food for a more reasonable price. Try the conch fritters. We were happy to be near the ferry to St. John and spent a day over there. We also spent a day at Magen's bay and went to the mountain top overlook as well. The people on the island are friendly and helpful. Many of the people we interacted with were people from the states that just didn't want to winter anymore or college students. Shopping in Charlotte Amelie is good.

Great Rental!

We loved the condo unit! It was exactly as describe and the view was amazing! We loved having breakfast back on the balcony. Sue and Bruce are great with providing advice and information about the island and things to do.

Did not disappoint

Hands down, the most lovely condo on the island. The space is huge, much bigger than the pictures give it credit. The living area is well appointed, the kitchen- not a utensil or convenience overlooked, the mattresses are brand new and AC is quiet and effective. The patio overlooks the pool and is equally as large. There are multiple masks and snorkels, noodles, and coolers that the owners have graciously offered renter use. The location of the complex is on the east side of the island, next to the Ritz Carlton so you have a beautiful beach area not only in front of you but next to you as well. The area is quiet and family oriented. The pool is heated and the waterfall/grotto was a favorite of my daughter's. The pool side beach bar was easy,tasty and reasonably priced. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner but did go there for breakfast, which was lovely. The beach/marina is quiet and swimmable. Although we would venture out during the day, it was wonderful and so relaxing to grab a drink at the beach side bar and take advantage of the setting. Bruce and Sue, the owners are extremely responsive and answered so many of our questions and offered suggestions to help make our trip a huge success. Places to visit: Coki beach, Magen's bay, the Dairy for a shake, Bongolo Bay for drinks, Glady's café, Vergillio's for dinner, Mountain Top for a banana daiquiri and don't forget to Youtube driving on St Thomas- it's an adventure and not to be taken lightly.

East End Eden is located at the Elysian Beach Resort, which is nestled on secluded Cowpet Bay, adjacent to the Ritz Carlton resort and just 11 miles from the airport. The condo is only two miles from Red Hook with its many shops and restaurants. The ferries to St. John and the British Virgin Islands leave regularly from the docks in Red Hook. There are also numerous other recreational opportunities on the East End including deep-sea sport fishing, para sailing, jet skiing, and eco-kayaking. Charlotte Amalie, near the airport, is the main town on the island and is famous as the shopping mecca of the Caribbean.

There are no stairs from the parking lot to the condo. There is a handicap parking spot immediately outside condo. Wheelchairs are accessible to condo and bathroom vanity areas.
