The moment you walk through the lobby towards the 60's style tiki courtyard and swimming pool, you immediately feel right at home.
Just footsteps from your front door is everything Honolulu has to offer, casual dining, shopping, the New International Marketplace and the world famous azure ocean at Waikiki beach.
Walk or take a shuttle to hula shows, dinner cruises, tropical nature tours and many other exciting activities. You may never need a car except to visit Haleiwa on the North Shore or to go out for a around of golf.
Most of our guests are 'Return Guests' who like not only our tropical courtyard, re-tiled pool and S/S Gas Grill, but the perks of a well equipped kitchen and a condo where everything works and cleanliness is exceptional.
Over the many years our guests refer to us as 'This is the Waikiki Beach style of living that we prefer' as compared to the less personal high rises which surround Nohonani Street.

If you are looking for an ocean view, valet parking or other hotel features such as room service then this condo is not for you. On the other hand if you are looking at an excellent value, a unique experience in a 'Retro' vacation rental that is clean, comfortable and well furnished than look no further. If you want to experience a little of 'Old Waikiki' in an excellent central location and work with owner who can be reachable for further assistant then look no further.
What makes this Condo unique
Location, location and location. Besides an ideal location and an ideal location within the building on the Ala Wai (north) side upper floors for more light and breeze (trade winds). The owner's spend extra time to insure proper sanitation and that there are no surprises at check in. We cater to seniors and long extended stays and the condo is set up to handle extended stays.

We have been visiting Hawaii for over 25 years. We have stayed at many different places in Waikiki. We discovered the Hawaiian King about 12 years ago, and have been renting from Pat and Mana since. Pat’s units are very clean and have all of the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The Hawaiian King is conveniently located near the center of Waikiki. The bus stops are just around the corner and shopping is near by. All of the attractions in the Waikiki area are with in walking distance. We enjoy staying at the Hawaiian King Hotel and always look forward to our next visit.
Some returning "Snow Birds" from Canada have had stayed at other condos and buildings over the years and it is nice when they find something they like, the ideal central location and close to the buses without their noise that invades many condo units in Waikiki located on or to close to the bus lines.
Clean, Friendly and Great Location
Unit is clean ,staff are friendly and it is a great location. Two blocks from beach, two blocks from canal, one block from the newly renovated International Market. We have been to Hawaii 6 consecutive years and each time we stayed in one of Mana's units. They are all very clean, well stocked with cleaning supplies and best of all.......Mana lives on site........no chasing the Property Manager if anything unexpected pops up. She meets you when you arrive and briefs you on policies and any relevant information required. I highly recommend any of her units.
Clean neat and tidy

Great location, clean beautiful condi
We needed a longer term rental as we were moving to Hawaii. We chose Winston condos because of the great reviews, the price and the location.
We stayed in #405 and it was great. The owner was both helpful and unobtrusive over our months stay. There was no noise from neighbors but you will hear the city noise, as you would anywhere in the middle of Waikiki.
The location is walking distance to a ton of shops and restaurants and not far from the beach. It also has a lovely oasis of a pool area.
As long term stayers it was very nice to have a very well equipped kitchen! There was even an umbrella, the owners thought of everything.
We will definitely recommend it!
Great value and a great location
I had stayed in this property in the past and had some idea what to expect. The condo is large with a living area, bedroom with a comfortable bed, bathroom with a great shower, (always plenty of hot water), a dressing area, and a well stocked kitchen. There has been a new electric cooker installed recently, and there are plenty of dishes, bowls, mugs and cutlery for your stay. There is also a rice cooker, coffee perculator, and numerous pots and pans if you wish to do your own cooking. The bedroom leads out onto a sheltered lanai, where my wife and I take our breakfast in the mornings and also a drink before bedtime.
There is also a pool and gas barbecue on site which you can use freely, and a laundry room on site for your washing, at a small cost.
Overall, the property is very clean and we'll maintained.
Mana Winston, who manages the property, provides excellent customer service. As she lives on site, any queries or problems you might encounter, will be dealt with quickly and efficiently.
The property is a very short walk from the action in Waikiki and it's beaches, shops and restaurants.
I have no hesitation in recommending this vacation rental.
Home from home
This was one of many stays that we have had in the Hawaiian King, staying in one of Winston's Condos. Although our international flight was arriving very late in the evening, Pat, the owner was still waiting for us, and had even secured us a car parking stable at a very reasonable price. The condo had everything that you needed for your stay, full size fridge and freezer, four ring stove, toaster, coffee percolator, plenty of crockery and cutlery, towels, cleaning materials, radio and flat screen television. In fact, everything you need for a pleasant vacation in "paradise".
You will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of space that you get, for much less than a hotel room.
The location is central to everything. Just a couple of minutes from bus stops, shops and the world famous Waikiki Beach.
My wife and I are looking forward to a return tip in 2014 and the opportunity to meet up with Pat and Mana again. Nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure you have a pleasant stay.
This continually upgraded Condo is located in the 'Heart of Waikiki'. This was one of the last areas of Waikiki to be developed around statehood time and is a favorite area of many returning guests who prefer the closeness to everything, but prefer lower rise buildings (we have stairs and also an elevator (ADA)) and good peace and quiet in this specific location of the Hawaiian King. Over the last 3 decades I have been able to purchase and renovate this condo in the quieter location within the Hawaiian King on the Ala Wai side upper floor. We have been told our condo is very quiet for being in such a good/central location and the guests can get a good nights sleep.
Golf: Lots of golfing available & owner can give you advice on rates and courses. We have a complete set of golf clubs for guests usage.
