Great experience. Relaxing weekend. Highly recommend
The cabin was very centrally located.
Cynthia, the owner, came over to fix the fireplace pilot light. She lives at the complex of cabins. The cabin is rated for 8 but it really is only comfortable for 6. The upstairs shower does not get hot water. So we all showered in one bathroom.
There was a welcoming plate of cookies. And the hot tub was GREAT in the cold weather. The fenced back yard is perfect for dogs.
We will check on the shower. We have one centrally located hot water tank that is plumbed to both bathrooms so both should have had plenty of hot water. We would have addressed that immediately if we had known. We are happy that you enjoyed the rest of the cabin.
Extremely comfortable with top notch amenities.
My wife, son, daughter-in-law and their dog made this cabin our base of operations for a Gauley River weekend. My wife loved the comfortable living room furniture and hot tub, my son enjoyed cooking steaks on the very clean gas grill while our daughter-in-law enjoyed knowing our grand dog was contained inside the fenced in back yard.
The campfire was an awesome way to unwind and warm up after our Gauley rafting trip.
We will absolutely stay here on our next trip to this area not only for the reasons already mentioned, but also because of the great location of the property.
Outside lights, both in the front and back of the house, would be about the only way to improve the property.
The cabin was fantastic. Very clean and true to the pictures on the website. Well stocked kitchen with things we needed. Hot tub very clean and roomy. Would recommend updating tv in common area to larger one and perhaps add two additionally twin beds to the loft under the slanted ceiling. Overall the cabin was fantastic!!!!
Comfortable, clean, everything you need was there. You
Thanks cabin was spotless. The amenities we're as stated.
My brothers and I we're on a motorcycle trip enjoying the wonderful roads in the area. Unfortunately, rain chased us back home a day early
Great place for a special occasion!
A group of us stayed here for my brother's bachelor weekend. The nearby rafting on the New River was a thrill and the cabin was excellent! Kitchen equipment and amenities were abundant and the hot tub was great. Thank you to Hemlock Haven Cabins for a wonderful weekend!
We are delighted you enjoyed our property and the area attractions. We look forward to your returning in the future.
We are in the heart of West Virginia's outdoor playground. We are minutes from the New River, the Gauley River, Summersville Lake, Hawks Nest State Park, New River Gorge National Forest and Babcock State Park. The variety of actvivities include whitewater rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, swimming, fishing, boating, ATV riding, zip lining, golfing and more. New in 2010 is a interpretive bridge walk under the New River Gorge Bridge over 900 feet in the air. We are the place to stay for the Bridge Day Festival and the Appalachian Stringband Festival. The spectacular scenery is worh the trip alone.
