Charming rustic river home on the banks of the Clearwater River, 2 miles by boat up river from property to entry into Seeley Lake. House is situated on two full riverfront lots with private boat launch and dock. Private and secluded, with ample opportunity to watch wildlife. Close to the town of Seeley Lake with nearby restaurants and rentals. Also close to the Double Arrow Resort with restaurant, golf course, and horseback riding.
Located on the perimeter of the Bob Marshall Wilderness with hiking, mountain biking, ATV and snowmobile trails. Google 'Seeley Lake, MT' to see all of the year-round activities that the area has to offer.
Ultimately we plan to retire here in Seeley Lake. My husband spent his summers here as a child, and calls the area home. Our family loves all that the area has to offer-it truly is a year-round playground! Sorry but we are not allowing pets any longer. We have had to many issues with the neighbors and pet owners who disagree.
Close to Seeley Lake with access by boat, but quiet and secluded with abundant wildlife. We love the proximity of the snowmobiling trails in the winter, and spend the summers boating and kayaking on the river and lake. Beautiful views of the river and mountains.
We spent a week at this great riverfront home and enjoyed every minute. The neighboring houses were empty so we felt like we had the outdoors to ourselves. The outdoor firepit is enormous and there was plenty of firewood available. The river is clean and calm and the views of the mountains are beautiful. The house is clean, well-stocked, and modern but not fussy. We thought we might miss television and internet, but who wants to be inside when the weather is nice? Late nights we used the projection TV to watch a movie and it was awesome. The house is just a mile or so from downtown Seeley Lake which has a few shops and restaurants and a nice grocery store. I highly recommend dinner at Lindy's Steak House! If you are bringing a boat, check with the owners about the bridge height and width restriction if you plan to boat upstream to Seeley Lake. We had a ski boat that fit under the bridge, but a pontoon might not. This was one of the nicest houses we have rented through VRBO.
Me and my family stayed here for 4 nights and it was lovely!! Everything was decorated so nicely and the view was gorgeous! The house was a great place to stay whether it be for adults or children. There is a nice bar area with a big screen TV which was fun to spend time in. We cooked dinner everynight and the kitchen had all the supplies we needed. It is nearby a supermarket, boat rentals, bars, etc. If you plan on going to Seeley Lake I suggest you stay here!!
We had a great time staying here. There was a lot of room for our kids to play. We enjoyed the cleanliness, updated kitchen, two bathrooms, and the movie screen downstairs. The view was awesome and we loved the dock.
