We always knew we wanted a second home in Cannon Beach and in 1992 we built our Cannon Beach Cabin. Born and raised on the Washington Coast, our family had years of history vacationing at Cannon Beach, Oregon. My husband's Grandmother resided in Cannon Beach and owned/operated a restaurant in the 50's and 60's called the 'Singing Sands'. Our entire extended family still enjoys countless hours and days of simple pleasures at the beach!
Jerri purchased this House in 1992
Why Jerri chose Cannon Beach
After locating the perfect lot in the much desired 'Presidential' Streets of Cannon Beach, we built a house/cabin reminiscent of the old town architecture. Our 1600 square foot Cape Cod style home provides all the comforts of home. Our family and friends have the most fantastic time vacationing at this ever popular vacation destination.
What makes this House unique
Because the Oregon coast is so scenic, we have enjoyed visiting many of the seaside towns. Over the years we've visited 'Shamu', the Killer Whale at the Newport Aquarium, shopped many an antique store, observed Cheese and Ice Cream making at the Tillamook Cheese Factory, Boated/Crabbed at Nehalem Bay , Salmon Fished Buoy 10 out of Astoria and Hiked Neakahne Mountain.

Great location and set up for a family of 4 or 5!
Enjoyed the easy access to downtown and Haystack Rock. Family friendly setup with lots of helpful items for our use. We would definitely come back again.
Everything they said it was!
The property was clean and cozy. It had everything the listing said it would plus. We especially enjoyed the milk shake maker and fire place. We would definitely recommend this home to any of our friends and family. It's location to beach access was perfect.
Everything we'd hoped.
Clean and very well supplied with everything from kitchen utensils to towels. Thermostat likes to get cold at night, though. Overall a great experience. Would love to do it again...maybe next summer.
Will Definitely Reserve this House Again!
The house had everything we needed for a fun Girl's Weekend! It is only steps from the beach and a short walk to downtown. The kitchen had everything needed for making great meals. I look forward to reserving it during the summer when we can BBQ in the backyard.
NIce home and great Location
We (3 retirees) enjoyed our stay in this property. It is was well stocked with linens (towels, blankets) and a well stocked kitchen (dishes, glassware, storage containers/materials). The living room had a lot of seating and all of it was comfortable. We especially enjoyed the location because it was very close to the beach (about 2 minutes walking and you are there). One regret was that there was not a king size bed in the master (all beds are queen). One thing the owners might note is that when the heating/cooling system air circulates upstairs there is an occasional slight/faint whining noise. It seemed like some part was rotating and when it got to a certain point it made a slight sound. (I am a light sleeper and I heard it; my husband didn't hear it). This was a minor thing and overall, we had a nice stay in this cozy house.
Perfect beach cottage
This place has everything you might need. As previous reviewers have stated, it has more amenities than many rental houses. The beds are comfortable, towels are soft, kitchen well supplied, and all were clean. The location was quiet and yet walking distance to everything. I highly recommend this cottage.
