In our opinion the Mana Kai Maui Resort offers the best value encompassing the Maui experience. You need not leave the area to have the perfect vacation!
The proximity to the sands and waves is a rare find! This unit offers exceptional ocean views. You are at one of Maui's most beautiful swimming and snorkeling areas. Enjoy observing a variety of sea life from angel fish to sea turtles and watch the whales from your balcony during season. Visits during whale season often result in marveling at whale activity from the balcony. You have close proximity to 'The Shops at Wailea' and several major hotels that offer events, beachfront, shops, restaurants, and galleries for your enjoyment: such as 'Four Seasons Maui', The 'Kea Lani Resort' The Prince Hotel, and the 'Grand Wailea. The Mana Kai Maui is near several first class golf courses in Wailea and Makena; and only a short drive away from Wailea Tennis Club. No matter where you want go on the island, this is the best starting point to "seeing it all". Your vacation planning couldn't be easier!!
I looked high and low for somewhere wonderful for me and my family to stay in Maui. I looked at hotels, rental homes, airbnb, condos, etc. I wanted something beautiful, in a great location, and with an ocean view. This place was all of that, and more! It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it was worth it. It's obvious that the owners put a lot of work and detail into their condo - clean, beautifully decorated, furnished, and well-appointed! I loved that my girls had their own bathroom too. We also had a nice long balcony that overlooked the beach and ocean, which allowed us to watch whales surface in the mornings. What a treat!
The beach at the condo is a nice, soft-sand beach and usually pretty busy, but it's a great place for snorkeling, and we found it fun to search all the rocks for critters early in the morning, while the tide was still out. There's also a pool, but we didn't use it while we were there.
The condo is located in Kihei, which is a really great location to be in. The weather was perfect for us in January, and we had easy access to all of the places we wanted to go (surf lessons, zip lining on Haleakala, Old Lahaina Luau, snorkeling with turtles, Paia, etc). Some were farther than others, but we were right in town and near the highways, which made it easier to get there.
Our vacation was one of the most fun I've had in a long time, and waking up to the smell and sound of ocean waves, having a nice bed to sleep in (semi-firm, but comfy), and having everything we needed just made it that much better. And, it was pretty quiet most of the time. I'm an insomniac and I was able to actually sleep here, which was incredible.

From start to finish this was an amazing trip. The unit was better than described. The owners thought of everything. Sylvia was amazing and answered ALL my questions promptly. The property itself was fantastic, awesome beach, great snorkeling and prime location. There were 4 of us, 2 kids 11 &13. The kids could come and go as they pleased which gave my husband and I time to relax. Then there is that view! AMAZING!!! I would highly recomend without any hesitation!
This condo is perfect. The décor is beautiful, the view is gorgeous and the owners have supplied everything you might need. Mana Kai is extremely well maintained and there are restaurants, shops and activities downstairs or nearby if you go off property. It honestly is perfect. We are so happy we stayed here.
My family stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving and we couldn't believe how beautiful it was! The condo was perfect!!! The views were stunning and the decor was impeccable! Such attention to detail throughout! The owners thought of everything! We LOVED it! Great location in Kihei! The sandy beach was incredible for taking long walks! We enjoyed both restaurants, 5 Palms and Sarentos! Delicious food with beautiful views! What could be better than that?!!! We felt like the condo was a bargain (per night) considering everything that comes with it! It is spacious, elegant yet comfortable, spotlessly clean, has a fully stocked kitchen with everything necessary to prepare meals (except the food of course)! And again...THE VIEWS!!! Wow! I must have taken a hundred pictures of the view! Thank you to the owners and managers for making our family vacation so special! We had the BEST week and the memories will last a lifetime!
Mana Kai 205 was a perfect unit for us to finish our honeymoon. The unit was top notch and pictures of furnishings and view were true to the unit. The condo facilities are wel kept and secure with ample pool and lawn space to spread out or meet your neighbors. Just a short walk to the Kihei boat ramp for those that are heading out to scuba or snorkel. 2nd bedroom lockout would be good only if used by children or very close friends as master bed is open to living space.
The condo at Mana Kai was fabulous! We loved the views from the deck and the location of being right on the beach with great access. The snorkeling was some of the best we saw steps away from our back door. The condo was clean and relaxing and decorated beautifully. It was exactly how you would imagine a Hawaiian vacation to look like. We would highly recommend this property and will stay here again soon.
On site you will have: the Five Palms restaurant open for all meals and happy hour, Zack's deli and convenience store for prepared ala carte dishes, snacks, salads, and sandwiches as well as grocery items and sundries. You have access to activity desk to reserve your adventures. A boat ramp is nearby for access to several excursions. Another popular beachside restaurant is nearby within walking distance. Watch whales from your lanai/balcony, during the season. Certain water activities are prohibited during 'whale season'. Enjoy beautiful beachfront lawn area to play and relax. The pool is located just to he right of lobby exit on beachside surrounded by glass enclosure. Yoga classes by Yoga Path at ocean level of the Mana Kai. (There is a charge for classes) . Rent your surf board, kayak, paddle board, snorkeling gear, or bicycle on site at the Surf Shack. They also have beach chairs and umbrellas for rent.
