High-rise deluxe living: Large PENTHOUSE flat in SOHO, in between MAYFAIR and COVENT GARDEN
Unrivaled PANORAMIC VIEWS: Located on the very TOP floor of a very well-kept modern high-rise in Soho, this penthouse flat offers SPECTACULAR VIEWS over London, while being in a very central location. This is not your average rental but our home away, from our Paris home, with contemporary furniture and fixtures (no Ikea here). There are 2 fast, good-sized passenger lifts to bring you to this highest floor in Soho. Many huge, ceiling high windows all-around the flat give lots of light and overlook the City of London, St. Paul’s, House of Lords, the London Eye and Wembley stadium.
LOCATION: This is THE very heart of London, the so-called fashionable upscale West End (Westminster). You are in walking distance of the main London tourist attractions as well as the Thames river. The theatre district, Leicester and Trafalgar square, are right on your door step. Within one block are the major shopping areas of Oxford and Carnaby street, elegant Old Bond street, art galleries and trendy cafés of Old Compton’s street, Berwick street food market,etc. (photos on our listing show views from the appartment and street views).
TRANSPORT: a 5 minute walk to various underground Stations: PICCADILLY or OXFORD Circus (from the latter, a 10 min. ride takes you to St Pancras station, where Eurostar train leaves for Paris). Leicester square and Covent garden metro stations are a 10 min walk.

This flat offers upscale living in the most central part of London. It serves as owner’s pied-à-terre when in London.
Refurbishment in 2013: Brand-new appliances, marble, leather furniture and other contemporary designer fixtures.
AREA: Soho is the area between Oxford St to the North, Regent St to the West, Leicester Sq to the South and Charring Cross to the East. The area to the West is Mayfair, to the North Fitzrovia, to the East St Giles's and Covent Garden and to the South St James's. Chinatown is sometimes considered part of Soho.
For personal and professional reasons we spend a few weeks per year in London. Just in between major metro stops of Picadilly and Oxford Circus, it also takes us 10 min to go to St Pancras train station where we hop on the eurostar train to Paris.
We love being in this flat, high up in the sky, bathing in light, having no noise while being in the center of dynamic London. We arranged the flat with all kinds of luxuries for our own comfort and yours. Also we have best food stores of London and trendy nightlife around the corner.
What a pleasure to be in central Soho amongst pubs, restaurants, a few streets to Theatreland and Carnaby Street. The apt., while small fit our needs. The view from the 15 th floor was breathtaking and included the London Eye and Shard. The weather was perfect even into Oct. Did wish we had more than 2 barstools and a glass shelf for dining. We did miss not having CNN and a few movie channels. Did wish we had an oven to reheat and cook food occasionally.Wish we had international landline also. All in all we really enjoyed walking to Berwick Market and Social Eating House. Noise from pubs was muffled by using fans overnight. A great rental all in all
The apt. was designed well and small couch and chairs were high end. Unfortunately the building seemed less loved. Elevators took turns not working; the inside of the lobby was non-existent and hot water issues came up . Our owner, Paul, was very attentive to our few complaints
We found Paul's apartment ideal for our 4 nights in London. It is clean, well maintained, and close to multiple restaurants, bars, & grocery stores. Kitchen has French press coffee maker, microwave, & good toaster, dishwasher, plenty of utensils. Bathroom modern, with good step in shower (6 inch lip might be awkward for anyone with limited mobility). Dyson fan moves air well. Two elevators provide ready access to 15 th (top) floor location. Wi- if works well. Only deficiency is lack of power outlet in bathroom for hair dryer. Lack of air conditioning could be issue if it were really hot in London, but otherwise perfect spot.
Our stay in this clean and upscale penthouse flat was all we hoped for. The flat, located in a great area of Soho, & was walking distance to almost everything. The area was vibrant and full of great shops, restaurants and nightlife. Midway between Piccadilly and Oxford street, it was a joy to explore and live in this exciting area.
The flat itself had all the amenities you would need. The spectacular view of the city was ever changing from morning to the sparkeling evening lights. The kitchen was well outfitted with all the necessities. We felt safe and secure at all times in the 15 floor penthouse flat. Wonderful to have a comfortable kingsized bed to sleep in after a busy day. Thank you Paul for being a perfect host and attending to all our needs.
A wonderful stay in a great place. Very nice flat, fully equipped, very comfortable. And very silent whilst being in the heart of a bustling area...And stunning views across to the City. No need to go and see a show: right in front of you, mesmerising. And so convenient. Barely used the tube to visit, was able to do most of my visits, museums, shopping, eating, etc... within walking distance. An added bonus is the Marshall Street pool right around the corner.
So in a nutshell, a winner on all aspects.
From the fifteenth (top) floor the views across towards the City are great. Construction is everywhere but, though it and street noises can be heard through closed windows they are not bothersome. If there are residents around they were quiet. The flat is well furnished and decorated, and clean, and has anything one might want. The large flat screen TV and DVD player are in the bedroom along with some good movies to watch. The internet worked well as did the kitchen appliances. There were instructions for equipment and lots of restaurant suggestions (Aurora nearby is a find). The bathroom is small and the step-up stall shower might be a bit awkward for some. Otherwise, with the large living/kitchen area having a full wall of windows, there is a good feeling of openness. There is a Whole Foods ten minutes away for shopping - the theatre district is about fifteen minutes. The common areas of the building are a bit functional but the security seemed excellent. We were met on arrival, and some small issues were immediately dealt with. (When one heater failed to work a space heater was provided.) We have no reservations about going back.
A great flat located very close to many restaurants, pubs, shopping, theatres. The views of the city are amazing from the top floor. Very clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. Great for two people, not more.
