The property is not well appointed or taken care of. Burner on stove doesn't work properly.
Property owners are being cheap about furnishing and taking care of their house. I would not stay here again.

Peyton’s birthday weekend
We had a wonderful stay. The property was everything we had planned for. If only we could have planned to stay longer. We plan on visiting again next year. The kids loved the snow. Thank you for sharing great memories.

Homebase For A Week
Great home for solo, couples or family trips. Did a solo week long trip, garage was perfect for loading and unloading fishing gear daily. Master bedroom is down stairs so there was no need to even venture upstairs. Location is the best, property is located away from the busy streets so you don't have the anxiety of entering and exiting the driveway. Apple TV, Netflix and Amazon was a massive plus for winding down at night.

No views, windows covered in ice
It last snowed a month ago, but the front windows and back sliding doors are still almost completely blocked by ice that's fallen from the roof. The owner doesn't want to pay to remove the snow, and vacasa won't do it either. Ours was literally the only house on our street where the windows/doors had been left covered in ice. So you can't see the trees in either direction, just ice. Likewise in the primary bedroom. And you can't go out on the rear deck. Two windows are broken and boarded up (kitchen and kid's bedroom), and big glass shards are mixed with the ice outside the primary bedroom window. The heater stopped working twice while we were there and vacasa didn't know how to fix it, just suggested resetting the thermostat every time it breaks. BYO everything if you'll be staying longer than two days: sponge, dish soap, detergent, paper towels, extra toilet paper. I will not stay here again due to the maintenance/safety issues. Otherwise a very nice cabin. Don't forget to use the Tahoe Donner guest cards for cheaper snowshoeing/ski tickets!
