The Gorgeous George - a tribute to the late George Rominger, a pominent trucker in the area who was the original owner of the property this house was built on - is a cozy 1 bedroom/1bathroom apartment built above a detatched garage. Within walking distance to West Ellensburg and Rotary Parks, Irene Rinehart Riverfront Park, and a 5 minute drive into downtown Ellensburg and the University. Enjoy a full kitchen, wifi internet and your own washer and dryer to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you're looking for a longer stay than a weekend, contact me directly with dates you're needing. If the times work out I can offer a discount for 7+ days, and 28+ days. Main house is occupied, but your total privacy will always be respected.

The Gorgeous George is Gorgeous!!

The Gorgeous George is not only lovely, it has everything you need for your stay in Ellensburg. Beautifully decorated with a comfy bed, soft sheets, luxurious towels, fully-equipped kitchen, and a washer & dryer are just some of the nice touches. Phillina is a friendly, responsive, and considerate host who provides thoughtful touches like bottled water for coffee, a list of good places to eat posted on the refrigerator, and bedside stands with built in phone charger are just a few. The location is excellent, quiet yet close to downtown restaurants, etc. I highly recommend The Gorgeous George!

Wonderful space

Wonderful new and clean space with everything we needed to cook. Downtown was nice walk about 15-20 mins. We loved the upstairs unit and the bed was very comfy. The neighborhood is a mix of old and new homes. Owner was super responsive and helpful.

Amazing Vrbo!

The property was nice, cute and clean. My partner and I loved it so much! It was well stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend. The heat pump kept the entire unit very cool during the hot weekend. Definitely coming back when we are in the area!

This is a cute little new construction close to town. We are a 5 minute drive to downtown shops, restaurants and the University, and a short 2 minute walk to West Ellensburg and Rotary Parks, and the Irene Rinehart Riverfront Park.
