Why Sara chose Newburyport

Great stay at Newburyport
If you want to get the best out of your summer vacation around Boston then a stay in Newburyport is a must! Sara and Frank were truly accessible and greatly facilitated our stay. Thank you so much.
Christmas week in Newburyport
My husband, our three adult children and son-in-law spent Christmas week at this home. Sara responded quickly to all requests and questions. Check-in went smoothly. The home was clean when we arrived.
The layout of the house is very nice for a large group. The living room had seating for all 6 of us for games, watching movies, etc. The fireplace was really nice. It opens to both the living and dining room and added a lot of warmth. The dining room has seating for 8. The kitchen is very large and very well equipped. We cooked most meals at the house and never had a need for additional dishes, cooking equipment or utensils. There is also a half bath on the main floor.
The basement has a washer and dryer for guest use, which was very convenient.
The second floor has three bedrooms and a bath. The bedrooms were all fine. The bathroom, however, does have an issue. We were informed that the bathroom door should not be shut tightly or it will cause major issues. Therefore, it was uncomfortable at times for mixed family members to use the bathroom.
The third-floor bedroom and bathroom are nice.
Each bedroom had plenty of closet space if you wanted to hang things up. The bedrooms are very quiet.
Also provided were laundry soap, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels and toilet paper. This is a really nice touch.
There are plenty of bath towels as well.
The house is in a great location. It is only a few minutes walk to downtown but in a very quiet neighborhood. The only parking is street parking which worked out ok most of the time, but could be an issue.
The house is pet friendly.
The outside space, back patio, looked really nice although we did not use it since it was literally freezing.
Convenient, comfortable, plenty of space
This was a great gathering spot for our family on our visit back to MA. There's lots of room for everyone, a well-equipped kitchen, and a location close to downtown Newburyport.
Great house and location
This house is in a fantastic location in Newburyport a short drive to Plum Island beach and a short walk to downtown. The house is lovely and while there were a few minor maintenance issues while we were there, the property manager who lives next door was quick to fix them.
Fantastic family vacation home!
Wonderful, clean home in a convenient downtown location. Was amazed at how well stocked the home was for everything you could image! Owner and property manager were great to work with making sure we were well taken care of. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Great Vacation !
Absolutely beautiful vacation rental ! Well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Short walk to great downtown area ( Harbor area / shopping / dining /* farmers market on Sunday ). Day trips to Salem, Rockport , and Portsmouth.
Street parking was a bit of an adventure but overall more than worth it.
Thanks so much !

Home is ideally located for a New England Holiday. Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the White Mountains of New Hampshire as well as the southern coast of Maine (Ogunquit, York, Kennebunkport, Portland) and Cape Ann, Cope Cod and Rhode Island are easy day trips by auto.
Home is only minutes from Interstate 95 and Highway 1. Bus and train transportation is available to take you to Boston, which is just 38 miles south (45 minutes by bus or 55 minutes by train) The train station is a very pleasant 20 minute walk from the house.
Newburyport is a quintessential New England seacoast town with fantastic Federalist architecture (among other styles) a small performing arts center, free outdoor concerts, a maritime museum, whale watches, dinner cruises, kayaking etc. Plum Island is only 4 miles or a 30 minute bike ride and contains the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge as well as miles of beautiful sandy beach; great for walking, beaching, battle boarding, surfing, kayaking and biking. Maudsley State Park is just 3 miles away.
Other Activities: Joppa Flats Education Center & Wildlife Sanctuary, Parker River National Wildlife Refuge
