Beautiful, peaceful property

  • 5 of 5

Our party of ten spent five nights here, and the home was roomy and spacious enough for all of us. The home was well stocked with all of the necessities, with plenty of bedding, towels, and kitchen utensils. The kitchen more than met our needs with high end appliances and two coffee makers. Spending time on the deck watching the river was a highlight of our stay. We did have a bit of an issue with the upstairs television, and Jacob (the onsite caretaker) was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The location is very private, making you feel as if you are the only home around. We had a wonderful time and look forward to another visit!

Beautiful and peaceful.

  • 4 of 5

The place was so peaceful. Away from other homes and crowds. We had planned on skiing at Wolf Creek, but the snow wasn't the best so we fished... It was like heaven on earth. The only drawback was the bedrooms. It really only has two bedrooms with a bedroom in the upstairs loft,. I tried to go to sleep a little early one night, but the visiting going on downstairs kept me awake. Other than that, the house has everything you could possibly need, except an ice maker!! Beautiful bathrooms, and well decorated.

Idyllic setting, gorgeous home, perfect stay!

  • 5 of 5

We booked this property for a family get away, and we could not have been more pleased. The house is very private--there is only one other house nearby, and it is occupied by the caretakers. The house itself is gorgeous. The gourmet kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare and serve a meal. Just outside the back door is a large deck with two seating areas overlooking the Rio Grande--a lovely place for a cup of coffee or glass of wine! There are three bedrooms with king beds. We had two young children who slept on a sofa bed in a sitting area. The caretakers, Jacob and Crystal, are accommodating, but not intrusive. We would love to book this property again in the future. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful place on the river!

  • 4 of 5

House was beautiful, great layout. Host was great. My only complaint would be the stagnant pond which made it mosquito heaven by the house. They need to spray for mosquitos and aerate the pond. We had to soak ourselves in 40 deet bug spray to enjoy the deck and river.
