Your accommodation has recently been renovated and is situated in a cul-de-sac of the popular and quiet neighbourhood of Weende.

You will enjoy a great view of the city from a vantage point 200 m from the apartment. The bordering forests are great for relaxing walks and extended trips. Despite the proximity to nature, you will find convenient shopping locations in the vicinity. Many university faculties, the Max-Planck-Institute and the hospital are within minutes reach (thanks to a great bicycle infrastructure you will be quicker by bike than car). Bus stops of two bus lines are well within walking distance.

You will be moving into one of three newly renovated and furnished apartments in the top floor of a block of flats. The living rooms are south facing and large dormer windows let in plenty of light. The view stretches across the countryside.

The furnishings were chosen with quality and predominantly natural materials in mind, for example wooden flooring, oak furniture, leather couch etc. The technical equipment of the apartment, including LAN and Wi-Fi connections, make for a comfortable working environment. You can relax with a stereo system with internet radio, a Blu-Ray player as well as a 48 inch television.

Please remember that this is a non-smoking apartment and that pets are not allowed.

I am based in Hamburg and organise the leasing of the holiday apartments in the Springstrasse in Göttingen for the UNNA-foundation (internet: unna-stiftung(dot)de).

The UNNA-foundation is a charitable foundation which was established by our father (and former director of the dermatological clinic in Göttingen). The foundation mainly promotes research in the areas of dermatology and allergology.

I am myself a general practitioner in Hamburg-St.Pauli, if you are interested please see praxis-st-pauli(dot)de for more detail.

In the Springstrasse in Göttingen you will be welcomed by Mr. Michael Tihl or Ms. Evelyn Tihl. They live and work (architectural practice) on the ground floor in the same house.

It is a real paradise!

It is not an apartment, but a paradise! Not far from the center and at the same time in a very green environment. Very clean, very nice.

And for the guests there are two angels in this paradise: Mr. and Mrs. Tihl, who provide all the necessary information, help with finding bike shops, support the house neat and beautiful!

Excellent apartment in Gottingen

I stayed for a week at this fantastic new apartment in a quiet peaceful area of Gottingen. The apartment is fully equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay.

Spotlessly clean.

Great service from owner and manager, easy to communicate with.

Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in this area of Germany.

Überzeugend in jeder Hinsicht.

Eine wunderschöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, bei der hinsichtlich Ausstattung und Möglichkeiten keine Wünsche offen blieben. Die ruhige Lage in Weende und doch die Nähe zum Zentrum, sowie die Erreichbarkeit mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln haben sehr überzeugt. Ein herzliches Dankeschön für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Nice location

The apartment is located at the outer part of Gottingen and really nice equipped. With the forest nearby it is perfect for jogging in the morning or taking a walk.

The family living in the same building is very friendly and open. There were no difficulties finding the apartment, booking it and coordinating the key exchange.

Getting to the city center is rather easy and takes approximately 20 to reach with public transport or 10 minutes by car/taxi.
