Santa Fe House Rental Photos and Description

House, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

Do you want a true Santa Fe Get-away? Try Casa Maritzia with its old world Santa Fe charm. Our adobe home has been lovingly restored with original vigas, hardwood floors and Mexican tile, wood burning kiva fireplace, enclosed patio of cedar latillas and all the details that make it such a unique and special place. The southwestern furnishings and antiques combine to give the house a warm and comforting ambiance.

The two bedroom suites each with their own bathroom offer quiet and privacy for two couples. The 1700 square foot house is close to the plaza –a pleasant three block walk- to museums, restaurants and galleries, yet it is a comfortable abode in a quiet, north side neighborhood. Enjoy meals in the completely equipped kitchen and dine in the large dining area or enjoy breakfast on the portal within the enclosed patio.

The casa also includes a separate office with desk, phone and reading chair. Casa Maritzia has Wi-Fi, cable television, off-street parking and a washer and dryer to make your stay a pleasant experience. The home is lovingly cared for and maintained. Casa Maritzia is a Santa Fe vacation rental licensed by the city. (16-00135641)

Guestbook comments from the owner

We were so comfortable, it was difficult to leave. Your attention to every little detail went far beyond our expectations. The flowers, the wonderful coffee, the plus towels and sheets and your personal greeting was very appreciated. When we return to Santa Fe, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Thank you.

Rita's home is perfect in every respect! I am picky, and I have a vacation rental listed on VRBO so I feel especially qualified to critique my 'competition'. Everything is done right at Casa Maritzia - there are fresh cut flowers on arrival; the house is spotlessly clean and clutter free (you don't feel as if you're a guest living in someone else's place);TV's in family room and bedrooms; extremely well equipped kitchen (very nice refrigerator); furniture is nice, expensive and new; new energy efficient washer and dryer; great WIFI; 10 minute walk to the Plaza; nice enclosed back yard with new patio furniture and BBQ; comfortable beds. This place is perfect for two couples or small family (each bedroom has a separate bathroom). Really a first rate experience!

Location and Comfort

  • 5 of 5

Casa Maritzia was perfect! We had absolutely everything we needed! The thick walls of adobe kept us warm when it turned cold and cool when it warmed up. We ate most meals out but the kitchen was well stocked including spices and coffee filters. Rita even ground fresh coffee for us and included a beautiful vase of roses for our arrival. The internet worked perfectly. In the office, there were many resources for sites to see in and around Santa fe and for hiking. We had plenty of toilet tissue, kleenex, bath soap, towels and linens, fresh bath soap, good water pressure, excellent lighting, hair dryers, clocks in the bedrooms and even night lights in the bathrooms. There was also a flashlight and umbrellas. The furniture was comfortable. I can't think of anything that was not provided! Rita was a gracious host, kind and very helpful. She was very responsive during the booking process, was there to meet us on arrival, and checked on us regarding our comfort after a couple of days. It was an easy walk to the Plaza area, restaurants, museums, shops. We had a car and parking was at the rear of the casita, off the street and private. Very close to the back door for loading and unloading. The washer and dryer worked well. I can't say enough good things about Casa Maritzia!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I stayed in your lovely casita home April 1-4, and had such a great time! It's such a perfect location, within easy walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants. The casita had everything we could have possibly needed, including freshly ground coffee in the pantry! Another bonus is the dedicated parking off the street, at the back door of the casita. Thank you for all your helpful hints, Rita. I will definitely book again!

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

Our party of four was very comfortable in this lovely home. It is well appointed and well stocked with everything one could need. Decor is lovely, patio is convenient and private. Rita and Tom were both very engaging and helpful with tips on places to eat, shop, and explore. This was our first visit to Santa Fe and being within walking distance of the plaza and downtown was a plus. We would definitely return for another visit.

Great December visit

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely and relaxing stay in December 2015. The home is perfect for us. We were so comfortable and the kitchen had absolutely everything we could have wanted. The location is perfect for walking to town (which we did many times) and also for quick access to everything we wanted to do. Our college student able to complete his final papers in the quiet office, thanks to the strong wifi. Our hosts, Rita and Tom were attentive and kind. We will definitely return again!

The perfect Santa Fe getaway

  • 5 of 5

We spent a very special week in this lovely casita. We enjoyed it so much. It was the perfect place to stay, so conveniently located, an easy walk just a few blocks from the Plaza, yet the neighborhood itself is very quiet. The home was beautifully furnished in classic Santa Fe style, and with every amenity we could wish for. Whenever we needed something, we found it - the house had everything! The owners even welcomed us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. They truly are the ultimate in hospitality and were available if we ever needed anything. We are already hoping to return again, we wouldn't choose anyplace else after our wonderful experience!
