My husband and I spent a long weekend celebrating our anniversary. The cabin was perfect! Vert cozy, a very well stocked kitchen, loads of firewood, a huge selection of DVDs, and games. The hot tub had nice jets and was perfect for star gazing. There wasn't anything missing, it was a perfect way to relax and enjoy a beautiful spot.
Enjoyable and very peaceful time away from a busy life. Very clean and everything stated was available. Beautiful property. Lighting great, but too closer to door which drew lots of bugs at night at the entrance. Mattress was not good but everything else was very good.
Loved this property! Spacious, large hot tub, pool table, screened porch. Beautiful views, close to the river. Can't wait to go back!
Great location and view! We felt like we had just enough privacy. The game room was great for night time! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed as well as the rest of the house. Loved the big screened in porch! The only negative things I'd have to say are that the bathroom could have been cleaned more and the sheets smelled sour (from being left in the washer) the bed was pretty hard and the pillows were awful. Also take note of the trash operating hours. We checked out on Sunday and didn't realize until Sunday that the trash location is closed that day so we had no option but to leave the trash for housekeeping at $5/bag! Really not huge issues at all! Great get away for a couple!
Overall a nice cabin in a great location. The one major drawback is that the cabin is at least 400 yards from the river. The property has riverfront access and a nice place to enjoy the river, however you cannot see the river from the cabin. The hot tub was nice, but the deck could use restoring or at least hammering down the nails that have popped up. I also thought it was a little unusual to be asked to take your trash with you or pay an extra fee.
