Why Lynn Ketola chose Baraga
I loved the unique cabin this property had. We renovated it and added many amenities. While it is not in the woods it is easy to find. The location is great to go on day trips and see the local area, too.

Cabin was very clean and extra cozy!
Thank you so much, it is greatly appreciated!
Beautiful property, beware of the location
I had zero problems with the location but as stated on other reviews it is close to the highway. It's a beautiful cabin on a very nice piece of property right on lake superior. Finding it was interesting because of multiple waypoints my GPS gave me, but that may have been my own fault. I would definitely stay here again.
Very cute cabin
We stayed here for our wedding night. It is a very cute cabin, lots of homey and woodsy little touches. We arrived and the TV and some little lights were on, it felt very welcoming. I had a little trouble figuring out how to "check in" to the cabin. I wasn't able to get a hold of the owner for instructions. I found out that you need to download the HomeAway app in order to get the check in instructions. Luckily I had a friend who was able to do this for me. Check out was at 10 am, I would have like this to be a little later, as we were getting their on our wedding night and we didn't even arrive till almost midnight. And as I wasn't able to get a hold of the owner I couldn't request a later check out. Only technical issues, the cabin was great, the bed was comfy and the tub was relaxing.
Cozy cabin with beautiful lake view.
We enjoyed our stay in this nicely decorated cabin with comfortable large bed and bathroom. Living area has pretty water and moonlight views. Only reason for 4 stars is that road noise is apparent because of location, however, we were aware and not disappointed with owner or stay. If we visit the area again we would stay again. Thank you for your service.
Aged furniture in need of real cleaning. Road noise made it hard to sleep. Over priced.
Pretty disappointing overall. The first impression was a very strong musty/mildew odor greets you when you first open the door. We had to open all the windows for several hours to lessen the smell. The furniture was very aged and in need of a deep cleaning. The cabin reminded me very much of a hunting camp in the deep woods - old, cast off furnishings just to make it habitable. I realize the road noise is nothing the owner can control but for the price paid it was not acceptable. The proximity to Lake Superior was a definite plus factor. Sadly, we were very disappointed.
I only smell pine when i enter the cabin. There is no musty odor. The northwoods design futon is a couple years old and not torn or dirty. The big cushy recliner is not torn or old looking. Its brown leather. The table is maple with matching chairs The chairs have been deep cleaned as a former guest left marks on them.. The northwoods design chair is like new. The new bear lamp is fantastic. The bed is hand carved and made for the cabin. These items were purchased for the cabin. I did not have these in my house or elsewhere. They were newly bought. The cabin price is the least expensive one on vrbo for the county. The price includes linens, dishes, towels, washcloths, all paper products. It has a lot of charm. Perhaps these people would be happier in a hotel room.
