Beautiful sunrises. Relax in spa jet tub. Cozy fireplace for chilly evenings.
Staying at this hidden gem in the north woods. Comfortable log bed. We are here to visit my grandparents. They came over last night and we had a nice visit in the living room. Tomorrow doing some sightseeing and shopping.i'm going to hate to leave.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much! The lake is beautiful and being on highway 41 was convenient but a little noisy on the weekend.
Lovely comfortable cabin. Jacuzzi is a plus! Enjoyed the private beach. Fire ring. Grill. All wonderful and useful on the cool Spring nights. You must take a night and eat at Irene's pizza, just in backyard of the cabin! Excellent pizza!! Nice nature trail across street at Baraga State Park. Don't miss the Bishop Baraga Shrine... Breathtaking statue!! Three Catholic Churches to choose from for Sunday masses, all within 5 miles!! Wonderful stay with everything we could have asked for in a relaxing stay! Had two large dogs with us , our babies, and there was plenty space in the cabin for their large kennels! They loved the water and the beach!
We loved our stay in Little Bear Cabin. It was cozy and peaceful. Conveniently located right off of HWY 41,which worked well for us. Unfortunately it was too cool out to take full advantage of the private beach but loved the sunrises over the lake and morning runs through the State Park.
My husband and I found this two room (but for privacy really one room) log cabin a perfect place for what turned out to be an eight night stay in the UP. The location was fabulous with the lake on one side and the highway on the other. We did not notice the highway traffic; the train on the other side of the highway rarely made an appearance and when it did, it was only two cars! We took a lot of little day trips to see waterfalls, hike trails, visit museums, shop the local stores. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable and attractively furnished, especially if you are a fan of bear motifs.
Stayed at the cabin in baraga for a early afternoon and night. Great beach and view. Good Pizza in walking distance.Suprised that there wasnt any of the biting flies you hear about.
Would like to stay in the winter for snowmobiling. Would like to use the little stone fireplace. Stan
My friend and I stayed here just a few days ago and thoroughly enjoyed the rustic, beauty of the cabin.
It was clean, tastily decorated and set up for meals. The owner of the cabin was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. She bent over backwards just to please us. Th grounds were very peaceful and the lake view is breathtaking. We plan on going back again in the fall.
