The apartment, renovated on 2016, is on the first (in USA, the second) floor a building in the lovely quarter of Prati with a panoramic view of the Vaticano from the windows of the bedrooms. The building is a typical roman mansion block with elevator.

Around the building: restaurants, gelato, banks, supermarket, pharmacy, bars, souvenirs shop, tobacconist, travel agency. You will find a daily, open-air market within a short walking distance which offers fresh fruit and flowers along with local wares and crafts. The neighboring streets have a variety of stores, restaurants, pizzeria as well as beautiful residences.

I'm a 35 years old girl. I've a degree in law, but I'm still studing for more specializations. I love languages; in particular I love french, but I also speak a little bit of english since it's the most important language and most of my guests come from USA. I like to keep in contact with my guests and to give them all the help they need during their holiday. It's a pleasure for me.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2009
Few yars ago I started to rent a flat of mine and since it was amusing I decided to buy a new one, in a great location for my guests. So I did.
I think the best benefit of this flat is the location, so close to the Vaticano, to the Metro station and bus station, with lots of restaurants and shops all around. This is very funny for people that come to visist my city.
This apartment has all the wonderful amenities you need while on vacation from the newly updated bedrooms and bathrooms to a washer/dryer unit. Not to mention being in an excellent location steps away from the Vatican. On top of that, Carla was a wonderful resource with respect to advice on where to eat, sightseeing and transportation in and around Rome. We had a marvelous time in large part due to having a fabulous place to rest after all our daily activities. I highly recommend this apartment.
The apartment is perfect! Two bedrooms each with a private bath room, kitchen has all you could ask for to make wonderful meals. It is spacious and very comfortable. As others have said, everything you need is within a four block walk. Metro access to all of Rome is simple and easy, a block from your front door! Carla is an amazing, knowledgeable, and gracious host. She will answer all of your questions, get you special rates for parking, and responds to calls immediately. I have travel widely though out the world and can say, without reservation, this is the place to stay while visiting Rome. I wish I had this apartment in every city I visit. While traveling, quiet time, good sleep, stress free arrangements, home cooking and expert support are essential. This is the gift Carla gives you when you book this apartment. One could't ask for a better hostess or a better apartment.
my sister and i spent 2 weeks at carla's catone apartment and found it to be an excellent location for everything. metro close, as well as lots corner stones for grocery items. a great farmers market just 2 or 3 short blocks away for everything from produce to meats and seafood. this is open from early to around noon weekdays and saturday. lots of local restaurants within the surrounding blocks of the apartments. the best is on the corner catone and the next block turning left as you leave the door of the apartment bldg. the apartment has everything you need to eat in, though we only had breakfasts and snacks in. we ate out during the day as we enjoyed rome usually stopping for dinner on the way back. the apartment is accurately depicted in photos on the website. beds comfortable, sofa in living room comfortable. small juliet balcony. there is 1 annoying little step down from the living room that you must be careful about. this would not be suitable for wheelchair or walker. carla very helpful for any issue and returns calls immediately. she works with a driver, massimo, who picked us up and returned us to the airport. he also has a special license and is available for touring rome. we hired him for 2 days of sightseeing and it was great to have someone wait for you and proceed to the next site without having to use the metro or taxi. he took us to all the places we didn't want to spend a long time at, but did wish to see (beautiful churches) and we took in the other main sites via tour or used the metro or taxi. i would stay there again, and send my family. i highly recommend carla's catone apartment, and i think that all the others she owns and rents out would be of the same high caliber. my sister and i are independent travelers of 69 and 70.
My wife and I stayed at the Catone apartment and had a great time. Carla was a great host and gave us many suggestions for our stay. The apartment was spotless and has everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable including a washer/dryer combo and fast Internet. The location was in a perfect place close to the Vatican and public transportation. There are many restaurants and stores in the area as well. I would highly recommend Carla's apartments to anyone taking a trip to Rome.
My family had a wonderful holiday in Rome stopping in Carla's apartment. Wonderful location very close to St Peters Square and the Vatican Museums, very short walking distance. There are bus stops around the corner and also the metro is very close by. The apartment was as described with everything you could need for a family of five, air conditioning, WiFi, very clean and well presented. There were mini supermarkets close by but also a bigger Carrefour and we would recommend the local market for fresh produce. Many local restaurants and bars close by. Carla was helpful from start to finish arranging for her driver to collect us from the airport, meeting us at the apartment to hand over keys and show us around and provided us with advice on the local area and how to get around. She also provided a mobile phone to contact her during our stay. We will definitely stop again the next time we visit Rome and would recommend it.
Short walking distance to St. Peter's and the Vatican Museum. There is a bus stop around the corner that will take you to all the major sites as well as a subway station 2 blocks away. I would recommend using the bus system as it was surprisingly reliable, easy to navigate with a map and you can see the sights on the way. The apartment is close to the Trionfale Market - a local spot to shop - as well as a Carrefour Express supermarket. In the area, definitely go to the Old Bridge Gelato Shop and Amalfi Pizzeria. Carla is very helpful, easy to work with and responsive. She made great arrangements with Massimo to take us to and from the airport. It is a very clean, comfortable apartment with large bedrooms, comfy bedding, well equipped kitchen and smaller but TWO full baths with is definitely a plus for families.
