Bag a “14 er” and climb Pikes Peak, or hike many of the different trails nearby. Close by there is world class fly fishing, mountain biking, unsurpassed Colorado snow skiing and white water rafting. You can also try your luck gambling at the historic Cripple Creek Mining District, a beautiful 20 mile drive.
This home has many upgrades including hickory cabinets with granite countertops in the kitchen and both baths, stainless steel appliances, tile and wood floors in living room and kitchen, bedrooms with carpeting, in floor heat, 46” plasma flat screen TV with surround sound (including the deck), Wi-Fi, 2 decks, one covered, and much more.
You're certain to have a wonderful and unforgettable Colorado vacation for just the two of you or for the entire family. This property is shared with another vacation rental they reside 750 yards apart and cannot be seen from each other. You can reserve both homes on the property for a larger group.
We do keep the driveway well plowed of snow in the winter, however the driveway does have a few ups and downs, so we do recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter and spring months.

Best Trip Ever!!!
My new husband and I stayed here 4 nights for our honeymoon in Colorado. We had the most wonderful time! The cabin was exactly as described and the pictures do not do it justice! The view was incredible and the hot tub was amazing. We have absolutely no complaints at all. It was perfect!
We are thrilled that you and your husband had a perfect stay at Mountain Sun cabin for your honeymoon! Thanks so much for your wonderful review. We’d love to have you back sometime, perhaps for an anniversary!
All our best, The Eicher’s
Great holiday in Divide
My husband, son, daughter and I spent 6 days in the cabin in August. It was the highlight of our trip to America this year.
The cabin made a fantastic base from which to explore the local area. It was very clean, extremely comfortable and well equipped.
The cabin offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. We all enjoyed watching the wildlife, particularly the humming birds feeding from the feeder located on the porch. During our stay we also saw blue jays, deer, squirrels and two calves.
We particularly liked the “eco-friendliness” of the cabin. The solar power was able to cater for almost all of our energy needs, although the back-up generator did step in to provide additional power if required.
We would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday home from which to explore the many local attractions.
Thanks Scott and Dina, I'm quite flattered that our vacation home was the "highlight of your trip to America!" We hope that you and your family can come back soon. Thank You, Brad and Laura
Great comfortable, secluded cabin!
Great place to hang out with friends and close to the areas we wanted to visit while still being secluded! Did some hot-tubbing, grilling, hiking, and bird watching from the property. Amazing view of Pike's Peak!
Super nice cabin and mountain property with amazing veiw.
Loved this cabin and property! Very comfortable and nice, well set up with everything you could need and more. The hot tub was great, the seclusion and quiet was super, and we enjoyed watching the wildlife. The best lodging we have had in all are vacations and would definitely would recommend this vacation rental. One minor thing was I could have used a better sitting chair, I have a bad back and I could not sit in the leather couch or chairs so I used the wooden kitchen chairs with a pillow. All in all very nice!
Beautiful beautiful beautiful
Home away from home!!! Such a neat house with an amazing view of Pikes Peak- a lot of local fun too! Perfect location!
This mountain home was cozy and spacious, offering truly breathtaking views of Pikes Peak!
I went with three of my best friends for a girls’ weekend getaway and we stayed at this beautiful home! The kitchen was phenomenal (we love to cook), and the rest of the house was decorated so cute!! The best part though was the view. I slept in one of the loft twins, so I woke up with the sun; boy am I blessed I did. The land was blanketed in snow and the sun was just peaking over the horizon to light everything up. I’ve never seen a more breathtakingly beautiful view in any Colorado VRBO I’ve stayed in before. We will definitely be bringing our families back to stay here in the future!
This property is located in the heart of beautiful Pike's Peak country with local attractions such as Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge, white water rafting, Cripple Creek historic district and many more activities all within approximately an hour drive from the home.
