This oceanfront home was designed by Richard Burt Architects and built in 1987. Among the many amenities that this property offers is a private cove that can be used for swimming as well as a safe anchorage for small boats. Sit out on the deck or play a game of horseshoes while preparing a grilled dinner and watching the local boats sail by.
Once inside the home you will find a large open living space on four levels that offer ocean views from almost every area. There is a large whirlpool located within the home that offers relaxing ocean views and a sauna located on the lower level that includes a shower and dressing area.
The village center and harbor are located within a five-minute drive or half-hour walk. You will find a small grocery store, antique shops, an old fashioned general store, as well as an atmospheric restaurant located on the harbor. If lobster is your desire, there are two lobster pounds that offer on-the-dock dining. A public boat launch and dock are also located in this area. The main town, Damariscotta, is located within a 15-minute drive; here you will find a large grocery store, movie theater and many fine restaurants, art galleries, and shops from which to choose.
There is plenty of sightseeing to be done along this coastline, including the Pemaquid Lighthouse (which is pictured on the Maine quarter), Pemaquid Beach and Fort William Henry, among others, all located within a 15-20 minute drive.
Come and enjoy your time at this comfortable home on Little Moxie Cove.
