The beautiful secluded 'Villa Sud' with a 115 m² large sun terrace offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the open sea and the Sierra Nevada.

This exceptional villa with a land size of approx. 1. 800 m² and 265 m² of living space can accommodate 8 persons and lies just 6 minutes walk from the nearest beach and a park. The spacious rooms are very stylish and luxuriously furnished with antique and contemporary furniture. Many of the rooms have stunning sea views.

The property is completely fenced and offers the perfect private getaway and 'Villa Sud' over 3 garages and parking spaces in the courtyard also.

Terrace, private pool (9 x 6 m) and adjacent to the pool bar area with barbecue are on the sea side with panoramic sea views and direct beach views.

In the lower part there is a large garden with 10 varieties of fruit trees (oranges, lemons, mango, papaya, persimmons, passion fruit, fig, Mispelo, custard apple and pomegranate) and vegetable beds. You are welcome to help themselves to the harvestable fruits, vegetables and salads to their hearts content.

Our gardener takes care of the background to the garden and swimming pool. So you can sit back here, relax and enjoy your well deserved holiday in this unique setting.

All rooms are on one level and have quality stone and marble floors.

All bedding, mattresses, bedding and electrical appliances were completely redone the start of 2015.

Almunecar is a more typical Andalusian Spanish-influenced city in which you have still about all tourist facilities with a total of 26 different beaches (sand and gravel beaches), long sandy beaches to secluded romantic bay. The villa was lovely, views spectacular, hosts great.

We spent a week with friends at Villa Sur in March. Our experience from the outset was great, after weeks of doing second go rounds on roundabouts in Portugal and Spain, the owner provided concise, precise directions and presto we were there. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and this was important as there weren't as many restaurants open so early in the season. The welcome package of food was great as we're all the oils and spices. There were four bedrooms which accommodated 3 couples and one for the occasional snorer.

The patio is immense and despite the iffish weather we enjoyed it every day. The pool area was more sheltered from the winds , however there is a bit of hum from the road below. Certainly didn't bother us. A word of caution , don't just close up the umbrellas lay them down or they will lie down on their own !

The walk to the beach is a bit of hike and you wouldn't do it carrying beach chairs, but there is plentiful parking both on the street and in the municipal parking garage.

The owner provided a great deal of information re things to do and see and the local representative was very helpful giving us more practical information re shopping, parking etc.

Overall we would give this villa 5 stars.

we were family of 5 adults and three children, the house was amazing in terms of location, safety , cleanliness and it had all necessary things that a house should have. all of us really enjoyed beautiful terrace and scenery around it and the beautiful pool from which u can see the entire sea and of course the bbq area.

we also picked fresh oranges from the garden that was in our property and for free use . made fresh juice every morning.

host was very nice, thanks Rachel for everything.

So special and magnificent views!

We absolutely enjoyed this beautiful Villa and looked forward to returning to it after each day of sightseing. 2 of the bedrooms have ocean views. The pool and the garden are wonderful. The upper deck was so beautiful to eat dinners alfresco. We did walk down to the beach but the walk up was steep (well worth it :). Our family of 7 couldn't have been more happy with the house - hated to leave :) Plus the location is perfect for visiting Nerje , Granada, and the beautiful beaches of the Costa Tropical!

Lovely Villa

Wonderful views from the large terrace - spacious pool area - 4 good size bedrooms - partial air con - 10 minute walk to beach and bars down steep hill - few problems on arrival which were fairly quickly sorted out - all in all good value for money

Mehr Schein als sein

Auf dem ersten Blick ist das Haus sehr schön aber leider sind die Fotos nicht aktuell.

Im Pool bröckeln die Fliesen mehr und mehr ab in 2 Wochen haben wir mehr als 100 Fliesenteile rausgefischt.

Leider gibt es nur in einem Schlafraum eine Klima, deswegen waren die Nächte sehr heiss.

Trotz einem etwas abgewohnten Zustand war das Haus in unserer Urlaubszeit das beste in Almunecar.

Leider wird in der Beschreibung nichts von der viel befahrenen Strasse unter dem Haus erwähnt, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell dran.

Löblich war wenn es ein Problem gab wurde dieses sehr schnell gelöst.

Der Ort Almunecar ist nicht gerade Touristen freundlich die Promenade ist sehr dreckig und voll mit Hundekot.

Der Strand besteht aus groben Kies nix für Strandliebhaber, störend sind die ganzen Strandverkäufer.

Wenn man einen schöneren Strand und Promende sehen möchte sollte man lieber etwas fahren und zb. Nach Nerja fahren. Ohne Auto ist man in Almunecar aufgeschmissen.

Mooi huis prachtige locatie

De woning is ruim en voorzien van airco. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en er is een ruime voorraad aan kruiden. olie etc. Natuurlijk kom je voor het buitenverblijf. Geweldig uitzicht veel zitjes en ligstoellen. Je loopt van het huis zo naar het strand. Het huis is eenvoudig te vinden en de ontvangst zeer vriendelijk. Wij gaan zeker terug.
