It’s all here for you on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, a U.S. Territory.
The Resort: Come and enjoy the exclusive and immaculately manicured Elysian Beach Resort where the aqua blue Caribbean water of Cowpet Bay will be ever present in your views from the living room, the bedrooms, or any one of this exquisite condo's three private balconies.
The Elysian is located just 12.5 scenic miles from the Cyril E. King airport (STT) on the east end of St. Thomas where it rises from its secluded beach to offer a most magnificent setting tucked quietly between the Ritz-Carlton and the St. Thomas Yacht Club.
From the moment you enter the resort you will begin to relax as you discover that most all of your vacation needs can be satisfied within a few hundred feet of the condo.
Start your day with a fresh cup of coffee on one of the three balconies where you can sit in the fresh morning air and get started on that book you've been wanting to read. If coffee and a book is not your style, consider a game of tennis on a court surrounded by palm trees.
Later in the morning, enjoy the beautifully secluded white sand beach, where, in the shade of the palm trees, beach furniture and a sports concession stand that offers a variety of water toys such as paddle boats, single and double kayaks, windsurfers, float-mats, and snorkeling gear. Beach towels will be given out at the front office.
Enjoy a quiet day on the beach while you watch the iguanas sunbathing. (See our FAQ for information about feeding the iguanas.)
If partaking of island rum is also on your agenda, make sure to ask for the ever popular 'Pain-Killer' drink invented and made famous at Soggy Dollar Bar on the island of Jost Van Dyke. (Better yet, take the ferry from Red Hook to Jost Van Dyke by way of Soppers Hole in Tortola where you can clear BVI customs ... take your passport.)
For a change of scenery, with reading material in hand, consider spending an afternoon sitting at the Elysian freshwater swimming pool; one of the most exquisitely designed and landscaped pools on the island, complete with rock grotto waterfall and hot tub.
Adjacent to the pool is a wonderful island “Pool Bar” that features “happy hour” each afternoon and any time it rains it is 'happy hour”. There are two restaurants on the property, Sangria’s Beach Side Bistro, a casual beach bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and Caribbean Fish Market, an award winning restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating so you can enjoy the palm tree lined beach while you dine. It is open 7 nights a week for dinner and Sunday brunch.
The resort is just two miles from Red Hook, the center of St. Thomas's popular east end activity and ferry transports to the other islands in the area (USVI and BVI). In Red Hook you will also find boutiques and groceries, and several marinas where you can rent powerboats or sailboats. Red Hook also has many popular restaurants and nightclubs.
Come ... relax ... enjoy ... the Elysian Beach Resort.
When renting at the Elysian Beach Resort there are two things you absolutely need to know:
1) Are you renting a single room unit? Most of the units are 450-500 square feet. Our condo is actually three combined units with approximately 1,500 square feet in which to spread out!
2) The Elysian Beach Resort is built on a hillside. One of the most common questions we get asked is 'How many stairs do I need to traverse to/from the beach and swimming pool?' Our condo is near the bottom of the hill and is one of the closest to the beach and pool, and we still have great views. We have the fewest number of stairs to traverse than anywhere else in the resort. Our unit is about a 60-second walk to the beach; the pool is closer.

Why Owner chose Estate Nazareth
After visiting many islands throughout the Caribbean, we settled on buying property in Cowpet Bay on St. Thomas because of the large variety of activities in the area. We choose to purchase on the East End of the island for easy access to the people/car ferry and other boating activities available in Red Hook.

Wonderful Vacation at Nancy's Unit C!
We are a family of four, with two teenage daughters. The unit was beautiful and very clean and comfortable, and the girls loved having the upstairs bedrooms/full bathroom to themselves. The views from all three balcony's were beautiful and they were all very spacious. It was great to have three full bathrooms, and a washer and dryer. The master bedroom was also quite spacious and very comfortable. It was so nice to be able to snorkel right off the beautiful beach of Cowpet Bay each day! We enjoyed several day trips in to town and a great snorkel excursion. Lots of great restaurants around and two great restaurants right at the resort. We loved the pizza at Sangria's. We would definitely recommend this unit, and we hope to come back again!
Great Week at Nancy's!
We had a terrific week staying at Nancy's C unit condo in St. Thomas! A friend who had stayed here recommended it to us for our family of 4 including 2 older teen children. Amenities on site were very nice including the restaurants. Sangria's is a great casual place to grab a bite. The pool bar was a great spot for some frozen rum drinks while enjoying time at the pool or beach. The kitchen in the condo included everything you would need from light breakfasts to full dinners. Mostly we just used the high quality blender in the unit to make our own frozen drinks when we wanted to give our wallet a break from the pool bar prices. The pool bar was very reasonably priced but it can add up. We snorkeled in a number of locations but the snorkeling right in Cowpet Bay was actually very good - observed 3 Spotted Eagle Rays just hanging out! It's a quick trip to Red Hook for other dining options and short distance to other great beaches and attractions. Coki Beach and Saphire Beach were just 10 to 15 minutes away and we highly recommend both of those spots for shore snorkeling. Uncle Buddy at Coki Beach makes a fabulous Funky Monkey so defintely take time to enjoy one of those tasy drinks.
The unit was clean and well prepared for us when we arrived. The deck on the top floor was a great place for star gazing in the evening and you can hear the band playing below. We even spotted a couple of shooting stars one night. The condo furnishings were comfortable and well done. Having 3 full bathrooms was great. The kingsize bed in the master bedroom was a little on the soft side for my taste as I appreciate a firmer mattress but if you like a softer mattress then you will probably be comfortable. Nancy was prompt and responsive whenever I emailed her with questions and she gave us great recommendations for setting up some day trips while we were on the island and they all turned out to be excellent. St. Thomas Boat rentals gave us a great trip to the BVI's and we highly recommend them if you are looking for a boat charter while staying at the Elysian. We also did the day sail with New Horizons that we booked through the activities hut on the beach. The New Horizons captain and crew made sure everyone had a good time snorkeling and served a pretty good on board lunch that everyone seemed to enjoy. The bottomless Painkillers were a big hit too. I would definitely recommend Nancy's Condo and St. Thomas and would stay here again!
Relaxing Mid-May Week at Nancy's Unit C, Elysian Beach Resort
Our family of four, two college age sons, enjoyed our stay at unit C. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The views were lovely. Having a washer/dryer and third bathroom was very nice. We enjoyed making our breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen and eating on the patio. Every day we were off on an adventure, sailing, power boat, scuba diving, hiking, etc. At the end of our day trips, it was relaxing to come back to the pool and beach area. The on-site restaurants were very good. We would definitely recommend this unit and hope to return in the future.
Best Place in St Thomas
We just got back from a week in Nancy's Condo C. Can not say enough about the condo itself, The Elysian Beach Resort, Red Hook or "Nancy's Way" of making, booking, check in and check out as simple as possible. First off parking is just steps from the front door and the front door is less than a couple of minutes walk to pool and beach. Back doors (balconies) over look everything, beach pool and grounds. The condo is very spacious and open, with 3 ocean view balconies. The main level balcony is incredible with perfect views of the ocean, pool and grounds but the loft balcony, which offers a slightly better water view (being one level higher), is perfect for private sun bathing and star gazing at night. (best way to end a tropical evening). There are 3 full baths, an incredible master suite with private bath, balcony and its own entry if need be. (We never used it). Large kitchen and living room has everything you will need. The Elysian is by far our favorite resort on the island. Beautifully landscaped grounds, very clean with incredible views, and 2 great restaurants. Not to mention the close proximity to Red Hook, which is the place to be.(Maybe 2 Miles). Red Hook has great restaurants and bar, the ferry the St John and easy boat charters to BVI. Then when you're all wore out it's a short ride home to Nancy's and the Elysian. Also there's Moe's Fresh Market right in town to stock up,( coming or going) and Senor's Pizza which deliveries to Nancy's.
All in all if you are looking for a place to just flop on the beach and pool for a week, this this place is perfect. If you are looking for a ground central to get out and explore the islands then come home to relax in the evenings, this place is priceless.
We will be back and will be staying at one of Nancy's Condo's. From what I saw of the resort these are in the best location in the whole complex.
A lovely condo in a wonderful resort
My sister and I stayed at this condo at the end of February (2017). It was lovely. Spacious, clean, beautiful views. The view from the upstairs loft is spectacular. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. We loved it and we plan to return. Note: When we were leaving, our flight was cancelled and the airline put us up overnight at the Wyndham. It wasn't nearly as nice. We both agreed that our condo experience was so much better!
A wonderful vacation condo in St. Thomas!!
Our family has spent at least a week at this wonderful condo every year since 2012. And plan to continue this tradition for 2017! The condo is well furnished and has everything needed for an extended stay. The location is ideal, with a wonderful view of the ocean, beach and pool. The three balconies are fabulous for relaxing in the shade and sun tanning. The pool is large and great for kids. The beach is picturesque and relaxing, and the Caribbean Sea is simply amazing. The snorkeling in the bay is also very nice! There are two restaurants on site and you are within walking distance of the Ritz Carlton restaurants next door. There is a grocery store nearby. The drive to Red Hook is very short, giving access to many more restaurants and the fairy to St John (where we have had many wonderful day trips!).
This Condo is ideal if you are looking for a Caribbean vacation that is stress free and relaxing, while also giving you easy access to St. John and the Virgin Islands National Park!
Nancy's vacation rentals are located within the Elysian Beach Resort on Cowpet Bay Beach on the highly desirable East End of St. Thomas, USVI near the village of Red Hook between the Ritz-Carlton and the St. Thomas Yacht Club. I now have multiple vacation rentals at the Elysian Beach Resort on Cowpet Bay Beach, all of which have been upgraded with new kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, and air conditioning. From Beaching, scuba diving, snorkeling, SNUBA, ecotours, sailing, yachting, powerboating, submarining, rafting, jetskiing, parasailing, kayaking, horseback riding, parasailing, duty free shopping, dining (an abundance of excellent restaurants on the island), drinking, fishing, golfing, and tennis ... to visiting Paradise Point, Coral World, the St. Thomas Skyride ... to sight seeing (guided or unguided tours) ... to getting married ... or just relaxing on the condo deck and enjoying the view of the Caribbean Sea. There is a LOT to do on the islands. Although there are plenty of things to do right on the island of St Thomas USVI, the great thing about being on the East End of St Thomas is that you have the ability to easily get off St Thomas to explore St Johns and the British Virgin Islands! Having been to St Thomas many times, the following remain my favorite things to do. They are not to be missed! Visit Trunk Bay Beach on St Johns to relax and/or snorkel. To get there, take the Red Hook ferry to St Johns and then grab a cab to Trunk Bay beach. Take your rental jeep on the car barge (to the left of the ferry terminal) to explore the island of St. John's. Visit the remote beaches on the far side such as Lampshur Bay. Eat at a roadside restaurant. Rent a powerboat w/Captain in Red Hook and head out to Jost Van Dyke. The captain will help you with the best method to clear British customs. Visit Soggy Dollar Bar and enjoy a Painkiller #5 in White Bay. While there, also visit Ivan's Stress Free Bar and play bartender. Then hop over to Great Harbor to visit world famous Foxy's for another Painkiller! If you have time, get your captain to take you to Little Harbour and enjoy a meal at Sidney's Peace and Love. Make a day of Jost Van Dyke. Have a Banana Daiquiri at Mountain Top on St. Thomas or enjoy an Adult Flavored milkshake at Udder Delight at the St. Thomas Dairy. Red Hook is the place to go if you are looking for an evening of fun. This is where you will find the island-style party vibe that captures the whole block. This area offers lots of variety and many options in the way of nightlife. If bar-hopping is your style, this is a stop you don’t want to miss! Check out Duffy's Love Shack - located in Red Hook Plaza parking lot opposite the Ferry dock. All beaches in the Virgin Islands are open to the public. Non-hotel guests can usually rent chairs and water sports equipment at beach resorts. There are a LOT of great beaches on St. Thomas. Out of the 44 beaches on the island, I prefer the beaches that have decent snorkeling, with a bar that serves Painkillers, and iguanas sunbathing. The beach that is right in front of the vacation rental is Cowpet Bay Beach and is a favorite with frequent island travelers. For your first vacation to the USVIs, I recommend that you limit your island hopping to St. Thomas, St. John, and Jost Van Dyke. It will be all you can do to see and enjoy these islands. After visiting the islands many times over the years, I still enjoy these islands the most. You will need to visit Tortola to clear British customs in order to go to Jost Van Dyke. While you are in Tortola, it is worth having drinks and lunch at Pusser's Landing. I HIGHLY recommend you book a boat through John at St Thomas Boat Rental. We, the owners, have rented with him multiple times while in St Thomas and had a fantastic time. John took eight of us wherever we wanted to go and gave us a history lesson along the way. We just packed a cooler. He provided snorkel equipment on the boat. St. Thomas Boat Rental offers you a private boat for the day or half day. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride while St. Thomas Boat Rental’s captain handles the rest. Enjoy the beauty of the Virgin Islands at your pace, on your schedule with St. Thomas Boat Rental. Walk across the street from the Elysian Beach Resort and set sail aboard The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas' own catamaran, the Lady Lynsey, offering day snorkel sails and sunset sails. Or, enjoy one of the many charters available at the American Yacht Harbor in the village of Red Hook on the East End of St. Thomas, where you can discover the beauty of the Caribbean Sea as you explore white-sand beaches and snorkel through live coral reefs or 'The Caves' of Norman Island. There are several island-hopping party destinations that are worth the trip such as any of the many bars on White Bay on Jost Van Dyke; generally rated G - Mild-to-Wild drunken behavior
