What a great find

  • 5 of 5

I'm not one to leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so because of all the fun we had at Swept Away. For starters, the proximity to everything is really quite convenient - from water parks in the summer to skiing in the winter, you really couldn't ask for a more central location. And all of your grocery needs are just a short drive away. The home itself is really something and you can really tell that the homeowners thought of everything. When you hear "pride of ownership", think "Swept Away". It looks like it was ripped out of the pages of an IKEA catalog. All of the rooms are spacious and more importantly, the entire house is super clean. The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities one could want (ie.,microwave, coffee maker, etc). The spacious living room leads out to the deck which overlooks the yard and lake area. It's the perfect place for a barbecue or for having a glass of wine while watching the sunset. The lake itself is really quite private -- in fact, we didn't see anyone our entire stay. It felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves. Days at the lake were spent soaking in the sun and kayaking. My only critique, if you want to call it that, is that you really can't jump into the lake from the dock because the water by the dock isn't deep enough. It would have been nice to have a floating dock for the kids to swim to where they could jump off. Trust me kids still had lots of fun. Overall, I would have to rate our stay at Swept Away 5 out of 5 stars. It was enjoyable and we hope to return soon.

Owner's Response: Dear David, thank you so much for your review, it was our pleasure to accommodate you and your family. Happy to tell you we have a new dock that extends into water another 6 feet so come on back so you can absolutely jump off the dock!!! ;-)

The overall view of this property was beautiful! Being on the lake was perfect!

  • 5 of 5

The Inside of the home was beautiful, spacious, and very clean and tidy. The view couldn’t have been more peaceful as we looked out onto the lake through the “wall of windows”. My husband passed away some months ago so it was my two daughters, ages 17 and 9 and me. Being here was just what the doctor ordered! We had a much needed break from the outside world and could just bond together with the peace and calmness of this perfect place! I am looking forward to coming again with me entire family to enjoy all the summer activities.

Lisa was great to work with a pleasure to talk to. I would highly recommend this home.

Beautiful lakefront home!

  • 5 of 5

Lisa and micheals Home was so perfect for us. Super clean, spacious and stunning views of the lake. We were here on a cold fall weekend with our 4 grown children. Though it was pretty nippy outside we were able to enjoy the beautiful lake from the warm and charming house. We cooked together in the well stocked kitchen, and hiungout watching old family videos in front of the fire. Lisa and micheal were readily available to answer any questions and were nice as can be! Only wonderful things to say about this rental!

Very relaxing & quiet!

Very bright and vibrant inside. Outside space gave room for activities to keep the whole family busy from sunrise to a peaceful starry night by the fire.

Family Oriented

  • 4 of 5

Relaxing three generation holiday- Home and amenities were designed to accommodate all. The sand and water access provided hours of entertainment for young children. Canoes and paddle boards were a hit with the young adults. The deck provided a great place to watch the sunset- An outside table large enough for all (8) to sit for dinner was the only thing missing.

Perfect Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

What a great vacation! We stayed a week with another family (9 people total) and there was plenty of room. The house is stocked with everything you need-games and toys for the kids-pots, pans, utensils and serving trays for meals-outdoor activities like canoes and row boats and so much more. We had a great time with all the activities to do and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommend it. Thank you so much
